Tourist breakfast staple along the VA Beach boardwalk, very good pancakes and really good coffee. Very loud when busy and currently has construction across the street that shakes the restaurant. Server was very attentive and personable.

The waffles are really good here! Their kids meal comes with a half waffle and 2 pieces of bacon (or you can choose other meats). It was decently busy at 7:30 am on a Sunday too.

Went here for breakfast while visiting Virginia Beach,Va and the place was packed and they close @ 1:00 PM but it was Sooooo many ppl in there. After experiencing the food & service - I see why. All the food was so good and it came out fast; as well as perfectly seasoned; absolutely outstanding and delicious. It's something about good cooked food that just does something to your soul - SMH - Food was bomb

We walked in on a Saturday morning at 8 AM. It was busy but had several tables to choose from. Definitely a local joint right across from the beach. Waitress came within three minutes to take our order . They have a wide variety of whatever you want, including gluten-free waffles, gluten-free pancakes, and a healthy menu.. if you're severe celiac, they do cross contaminate in the kitchen. The tables are very close together, but it's a fun place and it's great for kids. Emma was our waitress and was super helpful, quick and lovely!

Went here Saturday morning around 9:30 am and there was a line almost wrapped around the building. Mind you, they open at 7 lol. It was just 2 of us so we thankfully only had a 20-25 minute wait. Once we got in there, the inside was very very tight and it was overly packed. Every table was filled. I really don't like seating like this because we were right elbow to elbow to the people next to us on each side and basically hearing each other's conversations. I also don't have what my mom would call a "mother's ear" yet lol so being sat next to a little baby who was crying the whole time, wasn't fun at all (2/10). Our food came out fairly quickly, which was nice. I ordered the Nutella Belgian waffle combo that came with eggs, bacon, and sausage and I ordered a side of home fries (7/10). There was no seasoning on the eggs or the home fries so they were both very bland. My original two pieces of bacon were pitiful looking, but the waitress noticed that herself while handing me my plate and took the initiative to bring me two extra pieces of bacon, so thank you for that. We also had the Spanish scramble omelette that came with home fries and got pancakes on the side, again lacked in seasoning and def needed some spice. Overall, I feel like the place is a popular local spot maybe even a little overhyped than it needs to be. I do plan to come back and try some their other menu items and see if I'm still feeling the same way. The wait time, though, comparing to what I saw other people doing, seems very long and not really worth it. I probably will not come with a group next time just so I'm able to avoid the long wait times again. My overall rate of experience : 5/10

The service was OUTSTANDING! Attentive to the point where you'll have to stop refills or float home. Great food options. Teenage boys made short work of their plates and ate everything! I had pancakes to take home (should've ordered a side version)! So good- cute place!

We came around 8ish and had to wait at least 20 mins. Breakfast food was amazing, just something about American breakfast and hot coffee just hits the spot for me. I ordered the Belgian strawberry waffle with bacon, sauage, and eggs and that was delicious. It was missing a toast, should have order one on the side. The rest of the family enjoyed their food, I didn't hear any complaints. This place is busy but it moves so don't steer away if you see a long line and people waiting out front. Definitely a keeper!

No trip to Va Beach is complete unless you have breakfast at Pocahontas Pancakes. The food is consistently delicious. My go to is the pecan French toast. The coffee is amazing which is important since I drink it black. The staff is always friendly. It gets understandably busy in the summer but that makes it feel like a party! Plan to get there early! Take time to check out the murals while you're there.

Attending the Neptune Festival this weekend as a vendor. My hotel recommended this place for breakfast. It did not disappoint. The staff was welcoming and atmosphere inviting. The food was so delicious and reasonably priced. So glad I decided to try while in town. This might be my weekend breakfast spot since it's across the street from my hotel.

Service was friendly and efficient. Tables were very close together which made the restaurant feel very crowded. The food was good so it didn't really bother us.

Cute spot for breakfast or brunch right off the beach walking path. The place does fill up fast but they provide a little buzzer and it moves fast. We only waited about 5 minutes. I went with the turkey avocado BLT. It came with tons of fries and was amazing. They have plenty of bread options and I went with sourdough. Great service and nice staff. Pay up front on your way out.

The place was packed but still only about a 20-30 minute wait. Once we got seated, the server greeted us quickly and was super friendly. Our drinks stayed full, both water and coffee. The food was well worth the price. For $14 I got the #1 Special (2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 pancakes and 2 French toast). Most everything was great. Actually the pancakes were my least favorite. A little dry and tough. The French toast was perfect and the sausage was the right amount of spice and flavor. Definitely worth trying again for all the other menu items.

The door and service is always great when I visit. This time, I could not make up my mind and the server was truly patient and kind enough to stand there and assist me for the ultimate meal for the time being That energy is what I get each and every visit. The food never disappoints and hot & fresh. The artwork is not new for me, while it feels great to see authentic art from our culture represented-- despite the truth behind the name. I love this place.

It is fully shaded which was nice considering we had some young kids with us. Service staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. I'd encourage them to be more targeted when describing some recommendations on the menu, she simply listed about the entire menu she asked "what are some of your favorites". Drinks were delivered very fast by the bartender. 2nd rounds were offered prior to the drinks being empty which shows good serving habits. The serving portions were very plentiful and played very well on the brunch theme! Burger was cooked medium well but still very juicy with a delicious mayo based sauce. The chicken and biscuit was juicy and the biscuit was flaky and delicious. It would have served the dish well TJ have a little more syrup. I also loved the unique hash tots. Service was fast, friendly, and very attentive to our table throughout the visit. I ordered the chicken and biscoff waffles and listen... that biscoff cookie butter infused waffle was AMAZING!! Once I added hot sauce, honey, salt, and pepper, it brought the chicken to life and tasted much better. My daughter ordered the smothered chicken and biscuits, butter biscuits topped with cheesy eggs, fried chicken, and cajun cream sauce. The picture below may not look the most appetizing, but don't let that fool you because this dish was packed with flavor! The only downside was the eggs were a bit overcooked. My daughter is picky about eggs, so next time she said she'll ask for them lightly scrambled or over medium. Now let's talk about the drinks lol. I love a good hot cup of coffee and they did NOT miss with the coffee. Smooth, hot, and flavorful. My daughter also said the sweet tea was really good. I'm a chef myself and travel to different restaurants regularly, so I try to be understanding. That said, the service we experienced yesterday at Stock Pot was unfortunately some of the worst I've had in quite a while. We sat outside, and it honestly felt like we were being deliberately ignored. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet we had to wait long stretches just to get basic things. At one point near the end of our meal, we asked for a box and our check. Instead of bringing it over, the waitresses stood around talking with other waitresses, while we continued to wait. After sitting there for quite a while, we eventually had to ask for the check and box, a second time. Throughout the meal the service was inconsistent. We had three different waitresses checking on us, but were left to sit for about 30 minutes alone at one point, and it took almost 20 to have our order taken, once we ordered, we had to request our appetizer again, after waiting another 20 or so minutes. Upon asking, again, we found out they were out of part of the appetizer we ordered. After that it came out quick. The food, however, was excellent and definitely the highlight of the experience. That's why this review is disappointing to write -- the kitchen is clearly doing a great job. I just hope the service side improves, because it didn't match the quality of the food.
