My water pressure was nothing after the city repaired the brushy creek water line. I called…read moreRoger's plumbing and they came out right away and discovered it was my water softener that needed new media. Water softener was taken on a Friday and brought back as good as new the next Monday. Great work and no issues. I have seen others complaining about the price and I do agree that the pricing is probably too high, but I didn't think it was materially higher than other competitors. I have also used them on a couple of other plumbing issues and always experienced great customer service and quality work. To me, that is worth paying a little more, but I do understand why some would not want that premium attached to their bill. Overall, I will continue to use them as my go to for plumbing solutions, but couldn't give 5 stars just because pricing is a bit higher than competitors. If you're looking for quality work, reliable and friendly workers, with good warranties at a slightly higher price point I would definitely recommend them.

Right before an out of country trip I had to take, I noticed my hot water heater was leaking. I…read morecalled Roger's Plumbing, we had used them in the past, and told my wife to go ahead and put it in. When I got back, I saw the 50-gallon replacement tank was installed with a mechanical controller Lennox 50-gallon tank. I had previously had 50 gallon with electronic controller. They charged me $4,600 dollars which included a Expansion Tank add on and Gas Line update. When I got home, I was a little shocked at the price and did a quick AI search to see if that was the going rate. Below are the results: AI Results got an estimate for a Lennox Pros model number WHGS050T40NAXS0601 with an added expansion tank and gas line update for a total of 4600 dollars in Pflugerville, TX An estimate of $4,600 is significantly overpriced for a standard, 50-gallon atmospheric gas water heater replacement in Pflugerville, even with the added expansion tank and gas line update. You are being quoted a premium "big contractor" price that is roughly $1,400 to $2,000 above the regional market rate. A Realistic Pflugerville Cost Breakdown A fair market price from a licensed local plumbing company should sit between $2,200 and $3,200 total. * The Lennox Equipment: The LennoxPros WHGS050T model has a wholesale cost to contractors of roughly $700 to $900. * Thermal Expansion Tank: A standard 2-gallon thermal expansion tank (required by Pflugerville building code for closed plumbing systems) costs about $50 to $70 in parts, plus about $150 in extra labor. * Gas Line Update: A basic gas line update (replacing the flexible stainless steel connector, gas valve, and adding a sediment trap/drip leg to meet code compliance) usually costs $150 to $300 in labor and parts. * Permit & Labor: The City of Pflugerville requires a residential plumbing permit for water heaters, which typically costs under $100 through the Pflugerville Permit Portal. Standard labor for a 3-hour swap is around $600 to $1,000. I guess I learned my lesson on this one!!!! No more Roger's Plumbing for me in a pinch.

It's always tough to review a company that overcharged horribly but showed up the day we called and…read moredid the job well. Our water heater pilot went out and would not relight. This happened the same day as the first cold snap, so every plumber in town was very busy. I ended up calling Custom because they did the original installation of our water heater about 6 years earlier and are among the few companies servicing AO Smith water heaters. The phone quote was $395 for 2 hours of work, but the parts were included because our water heater was still under warranty. We were supposed to get a phone call before the plumber arrived, but somehow this didn't happen. Matthew, who was super-nice and courteous, showed up at 3:30 pm and was done before 4:30. He said our water heater drained faster than any he'd seen before. We were still charged $395...for less than one hour's labor. We are happy to have hot water again, just a day after the problem occurred, but not thrilled by the hourly rate. Caveat emptor.

They explained the problem, took me through a few solutions, and we picked the best option for our family and budget. A few months later, our water heater started leaking. I asked for his opinion and he said since our heater was 10 years old, he would opt for a complete replacement. We got a good deal and he was able to replace the tank the same day! We're planning on getting a water softener installed through them later this year! I highly recommend this company.

We had quite complicated problem with our standing faucet, which installed just a bit over a year…read moreago. The faucet was installed pretty badly at the beginning by our 1st contractor, who we fired them. After that we had an experienced plumber reinstalled the faucet and it had been working great since then. Anyway, recently we had a construction in our house and for some reason the problem showed up at this standing faucet again. Our contractor had 2 licensed plumbers came over to fix the it, but for somehow they made it worse. The water pressure at the faucet was very low for the hot water and after the 2nd plumber from our contractor worked on it, it got worse. Both hot and cold water got very low pressure and the standing faucet was wobbling badly. I got to ask my contractor to stop sending his guys to fix the faucet, and then I called about 5 plumbing companies to check on it. As the faucet was initially installed badly on the tile that was cut too big as the photo, and now the tile was hardly hold the faucet, the 4 plumbers who came over had quite different solutions. One said that he needed to remove all the tile in that section in order to installed new valves and I would need to call the tile guy to redo the tiles later. Then, another Plumber honestly told me that he had no idea how to fix it, but he would ask the other plumbers in the company. Well... Pretty much hopeless, I google and found Crow's plumbing service with an incredible reviews 4.9 stars from 2,066 reviews!!! I called the company and Karen, the lady on the phone, was polite, friendly, courtesy and understanding. She scheduled the technician to come over for the next day. The technician, Caleb, showed up on time. Although Caleb was pretty young, he was INCREDIBLE and Knowledgeable. He thoroughly checked on everything and he was the only plumber who double checked on water pressure and found out that our house had a water pressure issue with a proven. 3 years ago, we had an inspection during the buying process by Square House, but we got only the reported that said he couldn't located the valve!, no mentioned about water pressure issue. At that time, I asked our buyer agent more than one time what it meant to unable to locate the valve, and our agent said it was just there and no problem about that at all. In fact, that wasn't true. We needed the main water valve and PRV replaced since they were way too old and buried deeper and deeper over time until they were no longer usable. This costed us over $1,300 to replace both PRV and Main Valve that should have been reported and replaced since 3 years ago!Kar As well, Caleb found the way to fix our standing faucet without removing the whole tile section. He told us he could simply put bigger screws and the plates underneath, so it could help holding the standing faucet!! No any plumbers came to that solution. I am not over claim, but Caleb from Crow's is intelligent. He spent time explained all my questions and concerned. Now, everything was fixed and Caleb said they would be good for at least 10 years. Additionally, Crow's provides 2 year-warranty for their work!! So they really stand behind their jobs. Absolutely Recommended!! - Communication: Karen and Caleb is Excellent. - Cost: Maybe just a little bit high, but with the 2-year warranty, it isn't easy to find. - Very High Responsibility. Caring about our time and concerns. - Skilled and Professional. - Efficiency: Excellent. Caleb worked diligently even if he had just recovered from his illness. He still looked so pale. We really want him back to be in a great shape soon
