This is one of those times where Yelp is SO accurate you just love it. Sharon -- the owner who's on the profile -- will set you up with service on the phone. When she says someone will call about the day you need service, they call. Lee was our guy. We had two toilets that needed service. Lee said "Here's the price but I need to see how the flanges are. If they need service here is the cost ...". Flange? Lee showed me the flange on the first toilet. OH! No wonder it was leaking. He fixed both toilets. Was exactly on price point and respected my elderly mother who dozed on the couch during the work. He was quick about his business. Mom's nap was longer. Great job y'all!! You are top on my list for plumbing needs now!! read more

Fast and friendly service with reasonable pricing! Showered up on time and did a great job with a complicated plumbing issue. Highly recommend!! read more

I called and spoke to someone about our home plumbing issue about a month ago. I was told that the call would be forwarded to the master plumber and I would receive a call back. I never received any call back so I can't attest to their service. However, there should've been some common courtesy to follow up. I ended up using another company with stellar results. read more

I called on a Friday morning with a clogged toilet. I was told the tech would arrive in the afternoon but he called in the morning and arrived in the morning. All good stuff. The tech worked hard to solve the problem and explained the problem and solution. All good until I noticed the toilet had been damaged by the auger the tech used. I called the office, they told me not to worry, the problem would be escalated. The problem was escalated and efforts to replace the toilet (at GTX expense) ran into issues because there were no equivalent toilets available at local hardware store. Evan(second tech) rolled up his sleeves to see if he could resolve the issue instead of me having to wait months to get a backordered toilet. He solved the problem and the toilet looks like brand new again. GTX came out fast, solved all the problems and I am a happy camper! read more

Came home to find a bedroom ceiling leaking. GTX Plumbing was recommended on a neighborhood site called on Memorial Day and they answered the phone and provided step by step instructions on how to fix the issue. First I'm amazed that a person answered the phone on a holiday and second was so thankful for their kindness and patience as they walked us through instructions on the call. Would highly recommend this company and plan to use them if we have any other issue. read more

Had water coming thru the kitchen ceiling late at night. The AC drain drains thru this sink and was backed up. GTX was very responsive and helpful. Replaced the H+ C valves under the sink, cleared the line and Ptrap. Very thankful! read more

Always top notch service! Friendly, fast response, always available. Lloyd saved me from swimming in my yard line leak! Thank y'all

WOW! Fixed our flooding issue with a phone call. Our showers, toilets & bathtubs on the first floor were all backing up and starting to flood. The owner, Sharon, answered the phone & kept our house from flooding by telling me to open the overflow in the front yard. Lloyd, master plumber, called a few minutes later kept the repair at no cost by having us check the second overflow by the street. When the second overflow was also full of toilet paper he told us we could call the city as it was 'past the city tap' and the city would take care of it. City came out within an hour and fixed it. The many many other plumbing companies I reached out to or called while in a panic either didn't answer or told us nothing to keep the flooding from happening while telling us they have to see who they can get to come out. So so so grateful for GTX Plumbing keeping our house from flooding & making a seemingly huge issue to us he just a small blip in our already overloaded lives. Thank you again!! Prayerfully we won't need them again but if we do they will be the ones we call!! read more

When I noticed brown liquid oozing out of my hot water heater on a Wednesday evening, I searched the Internet for a local plumbing service. Within minutes of contacting GTX, I was speaking with master plumber, Lloyd about the heater's failure and pricing. Shortly thereafter, Sharon texted me with a service appointment for the following day. Otis and Roger arrived within the scheduled time frame, professionally removed and installed the new water heater and cleaned up. The service experience was speedy and far superior relative to local competitors. GTX is now my "go-to" plumbing company for future needs. read more

Great company & will be using them for any plumbing need moving forward. Was dealing with issues with my water heater and was able to talk to someone the same day to trouble shoot what was going on and get all the quotes I needed. I ended up holding off and got the issue fixed for a few days and then was having a different issue and called back to just move forward with a total replacement. They got me my final quote and were able to get me on the schedule for a couple days later which worked great. When they got here they realized that the water heater was actually short and not tall like they had thought based on the pictures I provided. I found out that it was an extra $200 for the right water heater, but they said they would cover the cost based on the quote they had provided and would honor that price. I have called so many times and talked to so many people that I felt bad, so I was able to add a little bit more to help, but all and all they were going to keep me from owing $200 more than I had budgeted for. The guys who came to do the install were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all the questions I had and to make sure they had everything that I needed to enjoy having hot water again. 5/5 stars! Great company & felt they were very honest. Call these guys first before calling anyone else. read more

GTX Plumbing has come my house several times. They finally gave me honest advice. My toilets are 26 years old and I need news ones. They recommended the brand and they installed both of them. I have never had to call them again. They are honest. read more

What a great local company! Texted Sharon that I had a slow shower drain, she had a master plumber call me. He walked me through a couple of DYI solutions and he offered to have someone come by next day. I opted for next day service. The plumber who came out cleared the drain while teaching me how to do it. Incredible company. Obviously it was an easy fix, but I'll definitely be using this company for life! read more

Our office building had an issue with what seemed like a gas leak in the area around our water heater. Once the gas company determined it was, indeed, related to the water heater, we called GTX. Sharon understood our dilemma and said she had some guys in our area. Jeff and Lee were out in a couple of hours. They ran their tests and checked everything. Jeff still smelled gas, though, and figured it must be in the wall. Cut out a hole, found the leak around a hose fitting, and replaced the fitting. No more gas leak! (Oh, and he added something that should have been installed when the water heater was installed seven months ago. Without the part, the work was not to code.) He and Lee explained things in terms I could understand as a layman. They were very professional, and we'll be calling GTX for our future needs. Thank you, Sharon, for being so kind on the phone! read more

GTX was awesome!!! During the hard freeze at Christmas 2022, they were able to get techs to our property within 24 hours, handled our busted pipe like the pros they are, and the invoice was a lot more reasonable than expected given how slammed all plumbers were at the time. I'll call them again in a heartbeat!!! read more

We had a pipe burst during this most recent winter storm. GTX Plumbing was there in about an hour, and had us up and running again in about 30 minutes. I was very impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism, and so thankful they could fit me in. Another plumber couldn't get me in for 5 days due to all of the busted pipes in the area. I will definitely call GTX Plumbing for all future needs. read more

GTX plumbing just did a phenomenal job getting water restored to my house after the major freeze in the area. There were 3 breaks identified including 2 behind my kitchen cabinets. The service was performed by Jeff and Evan and these guys could not have been more professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. They even had the patience to provide me status updates while I stood around and asked what and why they were doing the things they were doing. The final bill was surprisingly affordable considering the extreme volume of work in the area right now. I have used 2 other local plumbers in the past, but will never call another because I have found the company I completely trust to get the job done. read more

These guys were awesome. Just needed a simple water softener installed but it was inexpensive and fast. The plumber that came was friendly and did a great job. A+ all around, now I have an awesome plumber near by if anything else ever goes haywire. Highly recommend. read more

What a nice experience with a great company. Very friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. The plumber called and tried to solve the problem over the phone but I needed hands on help. Jeff was incredible!!! He showed up on time, very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. He worked tirelessly with his helper to get my problem solved. These are real plumbers, not salesman. They only wanted to solve my problem and make me happy. This is by far the best interaction I've had with any company in Texas. Sharron who answered the phone was so nice. They got me an appointment when I was available with a break in my schedule. Jeff gave me several tips on how to keep my pipes and appliances working smoothly with some simple maintenance. He even adjusted my water heater and showed me how to flush the hot water tank. I will always recommend GTX Plumbing to my friends and family. Way to go GTX!!!!! read more

I can't say enough good about Lloyd with GTX. Over Memorial Day weekend, a pipe in our attic developed a leak. Despite our best effort, many hours, and multiple trips to Lowe's, Home Depot, and ACE, we couldn't fix the issue. We did all we could to make it through the holiday to avoid premium prices, and I went to the plumbing supply house in Round Rock on Tuesday morning to see if I could find the fittings we needed. Thanks to some helpful plumbers there, I found out the problem: we have Kitec, which requires exorbitantly expensive adapter fittings to repair. I got the fittings needed and began calling around to everyone in Georgetown with a 4+ rating. No one could get us seen til maybe Thursday, but, once I told the lady at GTX that I had the fittings and just needed someone to install them, she told me she could get the master plumber to call me back that evening. Sure enough he did! We spoke on the phone for a while, where I explained the issue, then he had me send pics of the fittings and we FaceTimed so he could see/make sure we had the right installation tools. He very thoroughly explained the order of installation and sent links or photos of exactly the few fittings and items I still needed from Home Depot, and Lloyd told me if I had the fittings and I could find someone to go up into the attic for me, I didn't need to pay him to do it for me. Sure enough! I went and bought about $15 more worth of supplies at Home Depot, where I was even able to text him while in store for a product clarification. That night, my bro in law had no problem assembling the pieces just like Lloyd said and then cutting out our temp fix to install the new fitting. It went as smooth as Lloyd said it would, and it didn't cost me a dime of his time! I asked Lloyd if I could pay him for his consultation time or make a donation to a charity of his choosing in his name and he said no, keep the money, just call me when you *actually* need me and tell your friends. So here we are. Lloyd is a wonderful and wonderfully helpful person, and I will absolutely be calling him when things go truly sideways! read more

Could not have had a better experience. Lloyd first tried to diagnose the problem over FaceTime before making an appointment to come to the house. He then thoroughly analyzed the situation before giving me a bid (which was much more reasonable than the first plumber I had out). He then fixed the problem and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! He is now our go-to plumber!!! read more

Dear readers, My wife and I recently relocated to our new home in beautiful Georgetown Texas. As would be expected we required various service people to attend to our needs, among them plumbing. Although we knew few people and weren't able to obtain a direct recommendation, my wife located a website - in our community, which listed various services and recommendations, leading us to GTX. Suffice it to say that each member of the GTX team (owner - Sharon, office genius - Twanna, and assigned plumber Anthony') were friendly, informative, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. The quality of the plumbing work was exemplary. Without reservations, we highly recommend GTX for one's plumbing needs. Stacey and Elliott read more

First time using GTX Plumbing. They came out today to check a pressure issue as well as to replace the flapper on a toilet. Immediately after the techs (Trent, and we didn't catch the other gentleman's name, but both were very courteous and professional) completed the job, we left the premises, and when we returned we realized the toilet was running. I called GTX, and explained that it was running and that the flapper installed wasn't the correct fit. I sent a photo and video, and it turns out this toilet is a bit atypical and uses a specific type of flap. They sent someone back before the end of the business day (Cameron, very nice and professional), and the issue was resolved. We also received a follow-up call from the owner. All in all, every team member of GTX we dealt with was great. We will definitely call them for future issues, and I'd highly recommend them. read more

Quick service and really fair pricing. They were able to work with my schedule and fix my issue. Super polite as well.

LLoyd from GTX plumbing came out same day that i had requested help with my clogged up drain pipe for my kitchen sink which way more than exceeded my expectations since i was told that they would probably not be able to come out until tomorrow. Lloyd was super personal, down to earth and had me up and running in about 15mins. He also helped answer some other basic plumbing questions that i was curious about. You guys will have me as long as i live in the Georgetown area. Awesome crew you guys have!! I will also recommend you guys to any one i know in this area. Thanks again. read more

I called on a Friday afternoon about a kitchen faucet replacement. Sharon, the owner, connected me with Lloyd, their master plumber, to ensure the replacement faucet I had purchased would work. It wouldn't work, so Lloyd went online and sent me pics of a couple of options. I was able to get the new faucet shipped over the weekend, and Anthony was here first thing on Monday morning to replace the faucet. What great service! read more

I came home from work last night and found my water cut off thanks to a kindly neighbor (water was running down the street). Fortunately I could work from home. They were able to come out immediately and fix our backed up kitchen sink for a fair price.

Great helpful trustworthy people. Very friendly. Offered free troubleshooting over the phone.

My water heater went on the fritz on a weekend, and I emailed the info address at GTX. Much to my surprise they emailed me back and using FaceTime, Lloyd walked me through how to relight the pilot. Over the next couple of days it kept going out so I contacted them again. Incredibly nice folks, they came out the next day with a replacement unit - the old one leaking, and was 10 years old so it had to go. They installed the new unit in short order, cleaned up and you couldn't tell they had even been here. I can't say enough good things and they'll be my go to plumber forever! read more

I would like to thank the folks at GTX Plumbing. I had a water leak at my house in Georgetown Texas tonight. My tenants called me to let me know what the issue was but was having a hard time trying to explain to me the exact problem. They were also having a problem getting the water shut off by the water heater where the leak was. I contacted my home warranty and they were telling me it would be 4 hours before anyone could even let me know when a plumber could come out. So I called GTX and told them I would like to have them on standby in case my home warranty could not get out tonight. Sharon told me to have my tenant call them and she would have them talk with one of their master plumbers. In short, my tenant called them and spoke with the owner. The owner walked my tenant through how to get the water turned off and diagnose the problem over the phone. They did this all free of charge. I can't begin to tell you how amazed and happy I was for Sharon and the owner to offer help like this. If I ever need to use a plumber, I am definitely calling GTX. Words really can't describe how impressed and appreciative of their service and generosity. read more

After waiting almost TWO months for one plumber who continued to say "you are on my list" (after the big freeze of 2021).... we gave up. Found GTX Plumbing. Absolutely FABULOUS ! Lloyd saved the day and didn't even come to our house. Phone troubleshooting and text messages. Walked me through thawing out some pipes connected to our water softener system without even seeing our setup. We were without water all day and one last question some hot water and a heat gun and problem solved. It was cold as it's ever been, but we bundled up at 10 at night and made it and Lloyd absolutely rocks. Seriously would recommend GTX to anyone. Saved us on this wacko TX winter night. God bless Lloyd and his awesome troubleshooting skills!!!! read more
