He arrived and accessed the situation (I am saving you from the details). I mentioned that I wanted a new toilet and bathroom sink faucet (I am too embarrassed to show the old facet). He looked up prices and gave me a quote on the items and the other services I needed plus labor. He then went to Home Depot and purchased the new toilet and faucet (I would not have been able to pick just one - its like me shopping for shoes), cleared the drain and installed the toilet and sink faucet. I am grateful for Stephenson for going beyond. I will be using them again!! It feels good that I know that I can trust a plumber. I did take pictures of the end result :)

Soon enough an adjustor came by and got paper work done. Roto rooter came and did the job, the guys were super sweet and awesome. All i was told was by the adjustor was "your insurance will pay for everything" I was getting emails from both roto rooter and my insurance about information. I kept telling my insurance that Roto rooter had all the info: claim form, invoice, and photos of damages. Roto rooter would ask me if there's any updates and if the adjustor had come for a inspection, no one ever came and I told them that my insurance was still asking for all the information. Fast forward I get a invoice that my insurance hasnt paid them after 30 days from their services. Again not once did anyone from roto rooter tell me "by the way you have to pay for everything if the insurance doesn't pay in 30 days" or else I would not have the service done and stayed with water damages. So now I'm stuck paying a invoice that I'm gonna struggle with paying for until the insurance pays me, which god knows how long that will take. If anyone from Roto rooter is reading this, please inform your customers VERBALLY from now on that if the home insurance doesn't pay in 30 days then they have to pay out of pocket. Don't expect people to read the fine print. I will also say the person in charge of claims at roto rooter is super sweet and did try their best to help me out with my situation.

At the last moment before the plumbers arrival, I had to rush out and pick up one of my kids because my wife was running late. Despite the change of plans, he persevered, kept in touch, assessed the situation and gave me a price without any hassle or drama, which I appreciated. Some companies are not able to give estimates without both homeowners there walking thru everything which is ridiculous. Anyway, he came back a few days later, showed up right on time for the job and got to work right away. There was minimal disruption and the guy worked very well independently. In the end the project was completed successfully and everything was done exactly as I wanted. Five star work! It's kind of cliche but it's a little hard to find a good plumber these days. I'm glad to have found these Star Line and will definitely be using them in the future.

I scheduled an appointment with this company to check a bathroom pipe, but they completely failed to disclose that they charge a service fee just for the estimate. Many plumbing companies offer free estimates, so I was incredibly surprised and unhappy to see these unexpected charges on my bill. They should be upfront about their fees before sending someone out.

He had to remove a front facing marble tile panel to get access to the inside mechanics under the tub. He's amazing, so polite and was on task to get this job done with expediency. Removing the corroded 20 year old fixtures, replacing with nice new sleek ones was a pleasure! Don't hesitate to call them and take care of some long awaited repairs or replacements.

Zal efficiently replaced a jury-rigged pipe under my kitchen sink, that had plagued me for years. Zal then showed me, & repaired another leak, that a previous plumber had told me he'd fix. From there he discovered the blockage in my drain. Zal did not give up. He kept snaking the pipes until he freed the stubborn clog. This all took hours. Zal worked steadily, & kept his sense of humour. He was kind, & respectful the entire time, explaining any questions I had, & his price was reasonable.
