I am a resident of a apartment complex in Ramona, CA. My name is Ray and would like to recommend this company to everyone who needs a plumbing job done right. My complex needed plumbing repairs on one unit which forced the maintenance team to shut off the water to the whole complex (property used a single watering system for all). The property was out of water for THREE days and called multiple plumbing companies who could not fix the problem. Finally, PLUMBING PLUS was recommended and was called to do the job. PLUMBING PLUS sent out a technician named DAVID BERBER who went above and beyond the call of duty. David came out late on a Saturday, was very professional, provide excellent customer service, and diagnosed what needed to be done. It took David one try to resolve the issue and cant thank him enough. Prior to Davids arrival, we had three other plumbers come out who could not fix what he did on his first try. Very impressed from first contact * Matt * through the pro-grade, highly skilled plumber dispatched * Jacob * ("Jake"} through the post follow-up email from the owner/manager Michael. Make no mistake about it, this is the "A" team of plumbers. Was simply collecting quotations for some preventive maintenance replacement of the emergency shut-off valve for my residence, a new faucet upgrade in our wetsink, and some under the cabinet spigot shut off valves (they refer to them as angle stops?) and finally a drain unclog also in the wetsink. Note: my experience with plumbers spans four houses in my career, so I have some experience here... 1) Near immediate dispatch (same day - within a couple hours), 2) Extremely professional and informative, 3) On the spot written (email) quotations while they are on-site, 4) Prices were less than another onsite quote I received (~20% lower!), 5) and they do a great job with clean up and final instructions. I'm so surprised that there are any negative reviews for Plumbing Plus at all. I also never thought I'd write a review for a service company but hey, you gotta find them somehow and Yelp is my go to search for this kind of stuff. Have you seen me? Probably not because this is the internet and you have no idea who I am, so let me tell you. I don't like getting my hands dirty, ESPECIALLY when it comes to plumbing. Once anything goes down any of my drains, I consider it out of site, out of mind, and I definitely don't ever want to see it again. These guys are great, from customer service to recommendations on how to avoid plumbing disasters. If I have learned anything going into my 20's is that, a little work now to avoid a lot of damage later is definitely worth my time. Working a 9-5, I don't have time for things to get backed up, and to for a guy to come out on my day off and fix everything for me. These guys are quick and efficient and helped recommend everything from products to use to ways to maintain my plumbing. We used Plumbing Plus recently to replace/install a new hot water heater. We had used them before for minor work, and in our most recent emergency they were amazingly helpful. The plumber who helped us was Garrett, and he was INCREDIBLY courteous, knowledgeable, and good at his job! It was a nice change of pace to have a plumber/contractor come when they say they would, do what they said they would (and not pull a, "yeah, once I pulled it out I found a lot more problems I didn't catch when I gave an estimate so the bill is a lot more"), and finish when in a timely manner as they said they would. Not only did Garrett do amazing work, but 24 hours after he was here a rep. from Plumbing Plus called to check up on our hot water heater and make sure everything was running as it should! We talked to another plumber before contracting Plumbing Plus, and the service was no where NEAR as good, the plumber was flat-out anti-social, and the work habits were seemingly inept. I will not hesitate to call Plumbing Plus again if/when I need a plumber, and I would recommend them to ANYONE who needs a plumber! read more

I wanted to give this review particularly for the plumbers who helped fix my home's problems, Robert Hannis and another gent whose name I didn't catch (sorry). I think Robert is an extremely knowledgeable and helpful expert, and he is caring and empathetic to a homeowner's needs of plumbing. Thank you Robert and his assistant for fixing the problems in my home. My only reason to give this one star lower is when I initially got a quote, I was just given a total price with no itemization of the respective prices for the individual services of my entire plumbing job. Granted I did email back and ask to provide it which was done, but I didn't like that I had to email back to ask for this. As a customer I want to clearly see what exact services and costs are being quoted and what each service is itemized for in the total cost in a facilitated and championed manner. This way the homeowner can then elect to opt-out of certain services if need-be and know exactly what they would need to prepare to pay for each aspect of the job. The fear generated when asking for repairs on items of unfamiliarity, is you are going to be paying for unneeded parts and labor. Two weeks ago, I discovered water damage in the downstairs ceiling below an upstairs shower. I had NO idea what possible issues there could be. Was this going to cost thousands? Isaiah, a plumber for this company, took the time to walk me through the cause of the leak, and each, and every, necessary repair in the upstairs shower. He then proceeded to notice our regulator was well past replacement and was contributing to the burst valve. I feel as if I received a plumbing crash course AND the most honest assessment of repairs -- ever. The price was very reasonable and will amortize over time due to the quality, and protection guarantees of the products and services. Called Plumbing Plus with what I was expecting to be and expensive job. The tech they sent was Ron Hays. He was a very affable fellow, professional, courteous with the attitude of, "let's get the job done with as little expense to you as possible". After we agreed on a course of action, Ron kept doing his job trying to find the leak in my front lawn, he could have easily packed it in with a see you tomorrow to collect a couple thousand dollars, but he didn't. He kept looking and found my problem to be a sprinkler valve. What could have been an expensive job turned into an easy fix. It has been such a great pleasure having Plumbing Plus come to my rescue. I recently began a rainwater harvesting project on my property this past summer. We happened to have one hard rain whereby a rock fell and cracked the pipe which connected the two tanks. I was able to temporarily seal the crack but needed to find someone to fix it with new pipes and turn off valves. I had the pleasure to work with Mike, the owner, who I greatly appreciate for his open mind and willingness to fix the problem. I was turned down by every other plumbing company for the job and I am so glad because Plumbing Plus is a keeper! They are friendly, professional, open minded, patient, and excellent plumbers. I am extremely satisfied with my Plumbing Plus experience. If you are looking for the best plumbing company in San Diego, then this is it. I had multiple issues at the new house my family moved into and Mike and his team of skilled technicians were nothing but helpful. When all was said and done, I had 1 faucet repaired, 1 fixture completely replaced, a major clogged drain cleared (it was disgusting - I'm so grateful my wife talked me into calling these amazing plumbers), and they fixed our water heater. I replaced the Moen shower value in our shower. Had minor leak after repair and needed one replacement part. Had to turn off all water going into house. We have livestock and needed water fast. Made call to Plumbing Plus and was told a dispatcher will contact me to set up an appointment. About 14 hours later, I received a dispatcher call setting up my appointment time of between 10AM and 2PM. Team members, Kyle Osborn and Matt arrived around 9:30AM. I had my water back on to the house in a little over 2 hours. I am very satisfied with the service provided and the friendly staff. Update as of 04/20/2016: I gave him 4 stars out of 5 because the owner of Plumbing Plus, Mike, came himself to my house yesterday, to apologize and to fix the problem. Also he gave me back the extra money I paid the tech the second time around because he knew the leaking was not there before. He fix the leak and took time to inspect everything and made sure everything was working the way it should be before he left. I appreciate the fact that the owner stood behind his business and was honest with me and want to make the wrong situation right. I called Plumbing Plus to my home to find out why my washing machine was backing up and my toilet was gurgling. David Burber was the plumber that showed up. He was so knowledgeable and knew what questions to ask to help determine what the problem was and devise a plan of action. I admit, I am not so plumbing savy but he was able to clearly explain each step and let me know what my options were. David was professional, polite, and courteous, and knew what he was doing. Garrett serviced our tank-less water heater the other day. He was very professional and even though I was being a pest watching over his shoulder, he was very patient, answered all my questions and he explained exactly what he was doing. I thought about performing the maintenance myself but I'm glad I did not. The money spent was well worth the experience Garrett brought to the job. He performed other service techniques (i.e. cleaning the senors) not shown on the You Tube video which fixed the problem we were experiencing. I recently had a Plumbing Plus plumber come out to do a periodic water heater flush. After he was finished, I asked him about replacing my "old style" toilet with a "low flush" version. He provided me info on cost, time required to replace the old one, when it could be done, etc.. I also asked him about possibly increasing the temperature of the water comng out of the shower head, and increasing the force of the water coming out. He explained what could be done, cost, etc..He was friendly, informative, and answered all my questions, provided options for the potential additional work to be done. Yesterday, my helpful husband decided to snake out a slow shower drain. Last night, after a bath, I released the stopper and all the tub water emptied into the shower, and neither the tub nor the shower would drain. Having used Plumbing Plus Poway for a number of years, I called and they sent Nate over to save us. He was able to relieve the plug in a short time utilizing the clean out drain outside of our home. I have been using them for 20 years. During that time the owner of the company worked many hours in my place in Poway before he took over the company. All my local repairs and all my new revisions were completed by Plumbing Plus. Just today I had to call them for an emergence water line break in one of my walls. The excellent service started with my initial phone call, the gentleman who answered the phone ( I believe his name was Randy) was courteous and was able to schedule an appointment right a way. The technicians ( David B and Nate L )showed up within the time scheduled and were very professional. They were able to answer all my questions and their was well done.
