We have (unfortunately!) needed several visits from Plumbing Plus over the past year. Once was on Christmas Day when our hot water heater broke when we were out of town. They were unbelievably quick to respond, patient, friendly and understanding. The plumber who visited our house was great at his job and was also skilled at explaining everything to me over the phone. Most recently we needed someone to install a new hot water dispenser. Isaiah did a fantastic job installing it and also gave us several tips on how to avoid future plumbing issues in our home. He was friendly, efficient, and did great work! I was having two bathrooms remodeled when plumbing issues were found - old house, no surprise. I started calling plumbers, and was almost resigned to go with a $$$$$ repiping rather than the flushing pipes that was originally recommended. While staying at my daughter's house in Poway, the toilet was clogged. We were pretty sure our 3 year old grandson threw a toy into it. Plumbing Plus responded quickly on a Friday afternoon, which was appreciated. He tried hard to snake it out, and could feel the blockage. But he said the only option was to replace the toilet, for a cost of over $800. He also said it couldn't be done that day. So we waited all weekend, and called another plumber on Monday. He removed the toilet, pulled out a dollhouse toy, and then put it right back. He did say the toilet was old, but if it's been working ok, there's no reason to replace it. His cost was almost the same as Plumbing Plus, but he actually made the repair. Plumbing Plus either didn't know how to fix it, or tried to sell us something we did not need. Neither is ok. I respectfully asked for a refund. At first they said no, with a ridiculously long explanation of why we really do need a new toilet. When I challenged their integrity, they offered a partial refund. read more

Isaiah and Darrell spent almost the whole day doing projects at my home. Two toilets with all needed items were replaced and the old ones hauled off. A 6 gallon water heater was added with all the piping and parts needed. This along with my tankless system that they serviced as well should keep us in clean clothes again . Plumbing Plus was professional and the plumber was very knowledgeable. He fixed my leaking pipe easily and on the same day that I called. They were flexible in their visit time. The phone receptionist quickly scheduled our service. Luckily I was without hot water for only half a day thanks to Plumbing Plus. They even gave a teacher discount. I was quoted for a new water heater, however my husband thinks the quote was high so I'll look around before we use them for a new water heater install. I needed to have the gas line, for the stove top, moved for our kitchen remodel. The pipe needed to be behind the wall so I called Plumbing Plus and made an appointment for the next day. The plumber, Robert, had the materials on the truck so he gave me a quote and did the job. The quote seemed kind of high and was surprised that they didn't put on a new shut off valve. I was left with a half inch NPT cap. Stubbed out as they say. It made sense not to put on a valve without it hooked up to something for safety reasons. The valve could get accidentally bumped open. They ended up giving me a valve for me to put on when the stove top is ready to be installed. They are easy to work with and Robert did a great job moving the pipe. Will use again. read more

Came home to find a backed-up sink that would not drain. In a time crunch, I called and spoke with Mike who helped try to diagnose the problem. When all home measures failed, Mike was able to get Darryl to us within the hour. Darryl was pleasant, knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. Scott came and cleared out my blocked drain. With his video snake he also diagnosed a partially disconnected joint under my driveway that was causing a restriction to the flow. Scott came back with Jarod. They quickly and very nicely replaced the poorly done original construction joint. My tank-less broke because the company that installed it (Tarpy) failed to make sure there was a pressure regulator on the house. It went out on 12/18, we called Plumbing Plus because they are a certified repair company for the tank-less. Isahiah was sent to do the repair. He was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He wasn't able to complete the repair immediately because he had to order the parts. Well the first time he came out there were other issues from leakage and he wasn't able to complete it then either. Christmas/weekend happened and still no parts were sent from the tank-less company. So they finally arrived and he was successful! Isahiah went above and beyond to help us. He showed me how to clean out the screens in the kitchen faucets too. I'd like to acknowledge the outstanding customer service recently provided by Plumbing Plus. Just under five years ago I hired them to replace a faulty water distribution manifold located in my master bathroom ceiling. It recently began to leak at one of the connection points and caused quite a bit of water damage to the ceiling and walls. To their credit and even though it was well outside of warranty, the owner, Michael, without any prompting immediately sent a crew to fix the leak, then sent contractors from a water damage company, and a drywall contractor to repair the damage. Michael personally called me, and the contractors he used were extremely professional. Even though I hoped they would take care of it even out of warranty, I'm very glad that Michael didn't think twice about it and put customer service above the contract...the type that will keep me coming back. Their service and staff are great to work with, but their charges are questionable. Referred them to a client who accepted their $149 to pitch after hours. There was a leak from a soldered(sweat) joint on the supply line. It was totally accessible and in the garage +-2' off the floor however it took the 4 hours to fix & $500 later. With a building science degree and 32 years in construction, I am qualified to say, rip-off. read more

Plumbing Plus is awesome! We highly recommend them. David came out to fix a stripped faucet assembly in our master bath. It proved to be a little more complicated and required several trips to get it done because several parts had to be ordered, but he persevered and my master bath is good to go. They gave an estimate and kept to it even though there were repeated trips and additional parts that had to be ordered. Plumbing Plus will be our plumber going forward. Hot water slab leak! Talked to Michael on Saturday and received good general information and options. Leak was verified by CPL on Monday. Isaiah came on time Wednesday. He worked to understand the issue and how I wanted resolved. Got right to work, even squeezing into a small crawl space under our interior stairs where the manifold was located. Later he called Garrett to help things move even more quickly. Capped the leaking pipe and repiped neatly with a new copper line. Was it cheap....of course not, it is plumbing! But the price was fair, the process was quick and clean and it could have been much worse. We will us this company again if other plumbing issues arise. My mother had a problem with the float sticking in her toilet so she called these guys to get it fixed. The plumber walked in and tried to sell her a new $700 toilet to fix the problem. Luckily she called me and we told him NO. My husband and I came down the next day and bought a replacement part and new seat. Spent $30 at Home Depot. My mother is on a fixed income. I am disgusted that the only thought this guy had was to rip off a senior citizen. Shame on you!!! read more

We have had several things fixed by them, including toilets, main house water regulator, showers, and faucets. They have done a wonderful job. Very bad service. I scheduled a service call to install some new fixtures, and was told they would arrive between 10 a.m. and noon. at just past 11:30 I called to find out where the plumber was. the dispatcher was surprised that I had not been called, and said she would call the plumber and find out his status, got a call back a few minutes later saying he was about a half hour from arriving. at about 15 or so minutes after noon he finally arrived. when I answered the door, he introduced himself. I told him he was late, and he sad it wasn't that much time, and that if he had been there at 15 minutes till twelve, he would have been early. the manner it was said was hostile and aggressive, coupled with a gruff and stern look. no explanation or apology for the delay . at that point I told him that his job at my residence was over and he was in effect "fired" and to leave. when I called dispatch, she was mystified, and when I asked to talk with a supervisor, I was told he was "unavailable" of course, I don't expect any management would "get back to me" immediately. More than likely the only way they will respond is a bad review here. this was a totally unexpected disappointment in the attitude of the service. My past experience with them is that not only did they re-pipe my house, but responded to several "emergencies" and quickly fixed the problem. very good service, THEN. it is upsetting because I wanted not only the job be done, but I needed several estimates for an upcoming remodel. I will now have to find another company. I don't know what the plumbers problem was, perhaps he had a few beers or something else to put him in a bad mood. It was very easy to see that if I had continued the conversation, he might have escalated the situation. read more
