This is the right side of the parking lot that is shoveled, but they couldn't salt the ramp.

The food is great. The ambience is great for what it is. The service is great, but we had a lot of snow recently and they had the whole parking lot shoveled and salted but not the handicap ramp. My special-needs sister has a walk issue and a balance issue and she slides easily on ice and snow, because of her gait. I asked why the handicap ramp was not shoveled, but the whole parking lot was and I was told that either broke down or they ran out of salt and then said sorry. They still didn't put salt out. I think every restaurant that can't for some reason shovel they need to put salt out, especially on a handicap ramps. We were in the restaurant for over an hour and still nobody made an attempt to salt the ramp. My sister doesn't do curbs well she doesn't do steps well and we had to find a place where she could sit down without her feet sliding out from underneath her..

We have a family tradition every December that includes breakfast and cutting down our Christmas tree. This year we found a tree farm in Westminster so we checked Yelp for breakfast recommendations and found Plum Crazy Diner. Surprisingly, we were seated right away on a Sunday morning at peak hours. Our service was great and the coffee was hot and unlimited. The creamed chipped beef wasn't my momma's chipped beef, but was pretty tasty and disappeared quite quickly from my plate. This is a cute little diner with great food and service.

Patty melt, soggy fries, and a nice pickle.

I like trying local establishments when traveling. Plum Crazy was recommended by a cop I met. When at a diner, I like to compare the same meal so I'm comparing apples to apples, or patty melts in this case. I asked the waitress which she'd order between the patty melt and the French dip. Glad she didn't say the French dip, because I couldn't have handled worse. The burger was flavorless, the fries were luke warm and soggy. The service wasn't awful, but my drink did sit empty for quite a while before I could get a refill. As others gave mentioned, many of the seats were ripped and needed repair. The ambiance was lost amongst boring fare. Sorry folks, I won't be back.

I travel a lot and love to stop at cool places and I seen this place and had to stop. I ate the special of the day BLT with egg you can see more on Dave's Crazy Trailer on YT If your driving by stop but I'd say don't go too far out of your way

    A classic diner.

The classic diner caught our eye as we drove by. After driving for several hours it was time for a break so we got off the highway and circled back. We ordered chocolate malted milkshakes -- something you don't see on menus all that often these days. They were mixed with a Hamilton style blender and served in traditionally shaped "milkshake glasses," but because the glasses were plastic a lot of old time authenticity was lacking. The flavor, however, was spot on -- very chocolaty and malty. Though we didn't order anything to eat I enjoyed looking over the menu. Everything you would expect at a diner was there -- from breakfast to burgers to "blue plate" specials. As for the quality of the food, I'll have to leave that to other reviewers.

Fun 50s style diner with good diner food at good prices. The crowd is usually an older crowed but it's usually busy and never disappoints.

During our visit we heard several birthday cheers, noticed a retirement gathering and for us it was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. To our surprise, the restaurant created a special dining menu noting our last name and our celebration. I was taken back with that gesture and acknowledgment although it's a testament to the service and care you will experience. This venue and team do the little thing right and will exceed expectations! Regarding the service, it was second to none with multiple staff and waiters at your side. The Smokehouse offers several dining options and host large parties and even weddings. The restaurant is huge and in associated with the historic Atrium 1844 hotel and property nestled on about 25acres. To the food: There are a few options to order from the menu and if you like wine pairing this is the spot. I chose the pairing option for my duck appetizer, scallop dinner and desert although didn't opt for champagne that complemented the surprise chef offering or my dinner salad. My wife had the beet salad, cod entree, dinner salad and orange cake. Every dish was incredibly prepared with no complaints. I envision the kitchen being hustled like the Netflix series, BEAR with echos of, "yes Chef". This was truly a special dining and something I strongly recommend if it's in your budget. The ambiance of the old early American estate is breathtaking and the piano puts you in a calm for the evening of wonderful indulgence. Again, and my opinion reserve this venue for a special affair. Total bill was $270 minus tip. Sounds crazy but if you have the time and wish to create a special touch to a special occasion, the Smokehouse is a sound choice. Note: reservations were 7:15 and we walked out at 9:45. Might want to consider staying at the Atrium at this point.

By the time we left at 12:30pm, not a speare table was seen. And Glyndon Grill serves its popularity. What makes a lunch spot (they are open for dinner too) so very popular. Adjacency to the always-popular-and-stellar Santoni's Market cannot hurt, not can the upscale neighborhood, but come for the food and service. I was focused on health-conscious fare, the the menu offered a diversity of intriguing choices. My premixed (with dressings on the side) Cobb Salad was wonderful. I could choose just how much of the mouth-watering fried chicken morsels I did and did not ant to eat, calorically. My tablemate, also watching pounds and inches, got the grilled salmon with broccoli. Neither could have been better. Best of all was our waitress Anne. Ask for her by name. Supreme professionalism dripped from her every word and action. Attentiveness and pleasant without being obtrusive at all. Yes she probably wanted to turn the table (but you could not tell unless you intuited that fact), and we accommodated because her happiness made us happy too.

However, I had to repeatedly flag her down to place our order and again later to request boxes after our food arrived. During this interaction, her tone also came across as somewhat dismissive and unprofessional when I explained that we were on a time constraint due to a meeting. After paying the bill, I was interrupted as I was leaving and asked whether I had accidentally given her the wrong receipt copy. Once it was confirmed that the receipt was correct, she directly questioned why she had not received a tip and whether she had done something wrong. While I understand that tipping is an important part of the restaurant industry, I personally base tips on the overall quality, attentiveness, and professionalism of the service experience. In this case, I did not feel the service went beyond basic expectations. What made the situation especially unacceptable was then being called "rude" as I was leaving the establishment. Regardless of differing opinions on tipping, I believe those conversations should be handled professionally and privately. The interaction left me disappointed and will make me reconsider returning in the future.
