Wow, I don't who they thought we were, or what they thought we did, but the service sucked. The food wasn't a whole lot better. The waitress went far out of her way to make sure we knew she didn't like us, and didn't want us there. We were seated far off and basically abandoned. There was no topping off of our empty drinks. We gave up on the idea we'd ever be allowed to order a desert. She was quite cheery and attentive to her other tables, but absolutely not ours. She'd walk off mid word, and all but tossed the food onto the table. When we went to leave, another waitress checked us out by tossing the bill on the counter for me to sign and walking off. Rather dumbfounded at this. They *REALLY* worked at it to make sure we understood that we weren't welcome there. Very well. Never will I set foot in this business again. read more

ordered maryland crab soup, was canned Minestrone with crab tossed in. Aweful!!. sent it back, but they still charged us for it. Hamburg was previuosly frozen. Salad dressings from supermarket. Oil & vineger tried, but it was white vinegar & corn oil. Waitress had no personality. slow to check on us & refill coffee. No water. food on floor under table. Priced to high. Plum Crappy is the nickname I remember. The food is greasy, and not in the delicious diner way that I so love. The building is hard to miss, it's the giant foil-wrapped twinkie on the side of 140. Totally meh and skippable. read more

Worst diner in years I have been to. They seated our party of 4 with two sets of silverware. We requested more silverware on three seperate occassions.. Ended up just sharing forks. Ordered Coffee AND water. No water was brought out. The oatmeal tasted like mush and they didn't serve it with milk or raisins. The omelet had americian cheese, not cheddar. The food was obviously instant/frozen of a terrible quality. The service was equally poor. The only good think I can say is that the coffee was hot. The music was also too loud. read more

I totally like this place. It has an old school diner feel. It automatically makes me think "poodle skirts!" The plum crazy chicken meal is shockingly good. The breading is seasoned nicely and you get some massive pieces of chicken breast with your meal. Plus, they give you hot bread! You get a pile of food cheap and I found it to be better than you typical diner fare. I haven't tried the desserts, but I'd like to. I didn't see the typical massive diner dessert case, but the menu looked like they had a pretty standard selection. They have pie! End you experience by stopping by Twin Kiss next door. Yeah no - just no - don't do it It looks cute on the outside but inside is another matter. The food was not good at all. We got the hot turkey plate with mashed potatoes and the mushroom burger and fries, for dessert got the coconut cake. The cake was dry and weirdly solid like frozen? The turkey was sliced lunch meat with bland blond gravy and boxed mashed potatoes. Even with adding a ton of salt and pepper it still was not good. As the burger my Aunt said it tasted awful. The fries were ok but not great. The first batch was over cooked and when I asked for fries vs the bad mashed potatoes while they were quick to replace they were underdone. We are not fry aficionados but like Mcds fries are ok but these were below that. The waitress was nice and polite and attentive. The bathrooms were bad, smelled to high heaven, no towels, the handicapped stall is easily seen over. The handicapped stall is a hot mess. Apparently they think if your handicapped your less than 5 feet tall cause more than that and you can see over the top of the door. Yet the other stall door is at the typical 6 feet in height. I have to disagree with most of the reviews. Stopped in with some work friends for breakfast and if was fantastic! Pancakes, eggs and bacon were perfectly cooked; Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Place was clean. Price was right. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Westminster. Thanks! read more

Just moved to the area, but this is one of the best places we have eaten so far. Great prices, great food, and great service! My husband and I each had a large breakfast and coffee, and our entire bill was less than $15! The only complaint I have is that someone behind me ordered a "chocolate coke" (coke with chocolate syrup) and they actually gave it to her . I would definitely recommend this place! read more

Could be so much better if they streamlined the extensive menu and just did things well. To my horror my meat and cheese omelet used cheese product! Gross just gross. Three of us stopped by late Sunday afternoon. We were seated immediately and soon greeted by our server. Our table ordered a French dip, a cheesesteak, and a meatloaf sandwich. Got the bacon cheeseburger, the burger was dry and overcooked, they didn't give us many fries either, although the fries were cooked perfectly. The bacon was also dry and overcooked. Service was mostly non-existent. After my party of seven were seated around 8:45 pm on a Saturday night and ordering and receiving our orders, our waitress simply disappeared! There was never a return to the table to check in on us, top off drinks, or even just to be courteous. I wanted to point out to her that the banana split that I had ordered for my wife and I had a small green leaf in it, but never had a chance. The banana split was mediocre at best. Frozen strawberries and canned, flavorless pineapple was on the bottom, under everything probably to hide the miniscule amount used. We had asked the waiter from the next table where we should pay since we couldn't find our waitress. He said he would go get her. Even after that, she still never returned! This is an old school diner where you can meet a friend for a meal or a snack at any time of day and stay a while. The food is reasonably priced and the service is friendly. The coffee is delicious too. The booths are comfortable and in good condition. It is always clean and well lit. There are also a meeting room and a counter to suit your needs. Pleasantly surprised!! This place is cute with its diner decor and even has an ice cream bar!! The service and the food was great! I ordered a cheese burger, one of the best I've had since Texas! I gave it 2 stars because breakfast is always good. Went there today for dinner and it was horrible! The food was cold. Even the onion rings were cold. The (fake) potatoes I sent back because they were "refrigerator " cold and they were replaced with another order of cold potatoes. The canned peas that came with my meal was ice cold. My daughters spaghetti was cold. My sons French fries were cold. My husbands chicken parm sandwich was cold except they put hot marinara on it The chicken breast I got was hot. I think it was deep fried! Yuck. Deep fried chicken breast. The breaded coating on it was an awful greenish color which I couldn't bring myself to eat so I picked it all off just so I can actually eat some thing from this meal. I did make our server aware of the situation but I told her I didn't want her to do anything about it but to tell the "chef" which I suspect is a teen or something. Extreme waste of hard earned money. A shame too because we like to patronize local non-chain establishments. We won't be coming back. read more

I've been to Plum Crazy many times, but, my visit last night was rather disappointing. As a general rule, I get the Chicken Parmesan, with an extra piece of chicken, and a soda or tea, the bill comes to about $20.50. Not really that bad of a price. But last night, whoever cooked it, did not drain the spaghetti. Thus, there was water coming off the plate, the water made the Breading come off of the Chicken, not too good. I said something to the waitress, she said she was going to say something to the cook, but she did not. I Will Not Return!! read more

Yummm!!! This was my second time at Plum Crazy and I liked it better than the first time. We got there by almost lunch time so maybe that is why our food was fresh. I had the Cheese and Brocoli Omelet and it was delicious. I substituted the eggs for Egg Beaters (for a $0.89 charge) and there was even an option for egg whites. They also offer a fruit cup that is plentiful. I ordered it to go with my kids pancakes and belgian waffle and my husband and I ended up eating from it as well. The fruit is also very fresh. The reason I give them a four star rating is because of the homefries. They look more like small french fries, not like the homefries I am used to. The place is clean and the service is fast and courteous. I will be back when I am in the Westminster area. read more

Has always been hit or miss for me. The most recent visit was a hit - large portions, great service. Other times, definite misses - orders incorrect, long wait times, and once, chipped beef gravy with no toast and very little beef. Used to come here often but last visit wasn't very satisfy. The food selection and prices aren't bad at all but the food in general is very average and our last lunch we had awful service. The waitress was distracted and our fries came out almost uncooked. I would normally ignore this on a weekend or busy night but we were pretty much the only people there so there wasn't really an excuse for such poor service.
