California Turkey stacker with Cole slaw instead of chips.
    Eric S.

Solid choice if you are in the neighborhood. I haven't been here since before Covid even though I just live down the street... and that was a mistake. Tried the California Turkey Stacker, which I was a bit skeptical of due to the odd combination of ingredients but it was really solid. My daughter got the baked ziti with meat sauce, and again very solid. The vibe here is really a good down home sports bar. Great for hanging out with friends, or whatever. Staff is really friendly and fast. Don't drive past too fast... you may miss it!!

This place is like cheers ... all the locals love it ...all the locals like it. The food is very good. However, today was my first time I'm back in about five months because I refuse to go there anymore. Not because of the food, but because of Dawn (horrible attitude) and today thanks to Brian I plan to NEVER return. Let me start out with importance of my knowledge of owning a license. I'm well cultured and have friends in the restaurant business. I was smoking and waiting for my husband to finish a purchase at the smoke shop next door and Brian came out and insulted me, I was startled and he kept screaming profanities at me for smoking marijuana with my husband mind you I was in front of the smoke shop. NOT sitting or standing in front or near that establishment. I have a receipt to prove it (also please check out my review on the smoke shop) i've never felt so humiliated in my entire life. He said and I quote "why the f*ck would you be smoking marijuana outside the restaurant? Do you want me to lose my liquor license?" I explained my husband has anxiety and smokes marijuana to calm him down and I partake. He's an ex veteran and served his country. He says "I don't care if he has a marijuana card" or if he serve your country "don't fuc*ing smoke marijuana here." I will never return to this place because of that I hope Brian gets to live the life he deserves.

Wanted a sandwich, we found a sandwich. Was greeted and served by the friendly older lady, who was patient and able to explain some items on the menu very well. Ordered an Italian Club (Godfather) & a Chicken club. The meat was sliced at a perfect thickness and the ingredients tasted fresh. Well toasted and served with utzi plan chips. Very delicious and very filling

These are chicken tenders. They are burnt, hard, and dry as cardboard.

I ordered food for 2 people tonight. The chicken tenders were hard, burnt, and completely dry. There were even burnt crumble pieces of black chicken in my box in the bottom. They were absolutely disgusting. They were so dry and hard from being burnt that we couldn't even eat them. I also ordered wings which were also burnt and black, literally black burn marks on ever single wing which tasted horrible. Every single wing is black from being burned. The cheese steak I ordered had meat on only about half of the sub. The two pieces of sub roll I have left put together equal exactly half of the whole sub. I work too hard to ever spend money on any food or service like this. I have never seen any food so terrible and because of that I created a yelp account tonight to post this review.

A great place to go. Family oriented, plenty of seating and a wonderful staff. Reasonable prices, and great service.

Our overall experience harkened back to some of the best episodes of the last season of "The Bear" we recently was on TV - many employees working feverishly to overcome all sorts of challenges to keep the multitudes of patrons sublimely sated with quality Italian cuisine. Some of the parallels were uncanny! To the restaurant's credit, this promotion was well-marketed and reflected in the full house of patrons with a jammed lobby that spilled outdoors with people waiting for tables. To the restaurant's further credit, there were many servers working feverishly hard to keep pace with the onslaught. They had prepared, in other words. Kudos to the charming hostess, who somehow kept dozens of balls juggling in mid-air. The anniversary menu itself was simple (down-home traditional Italian fare), possibly both reflective of the 1988 era and the move-them-in, move-them-out necessary philosophy of the evening. Our mussels appetizer was delicious but arrived late (with a profuse apology) reflective of the onslaught. We understood. Our main courses (Italian chicken dishes) were fine and well-prepared if a bit watery, again reflective of 1988 and of the busy kitchen. Again, we understood. Pricewise, with the promotion, we saved about $11 or $12 a person off what an equivalent order would have been in 2026, so our bill reflected. It WAS a cool promotion and Liberatore's deserves our business (and yours) more often even absent special promotions like this. Hopefully this creative idea inspires this on the part of it's many past customers.

Moving on it was a large group of us but we got separate checks in couples yet 20% tip was added anyways. The main disappoint was the food. Broccoli ched soup - Was not mixed enough had a pile of cheese at the bottom not melted in Crab soup - Really chunky and too thick, not soup thickness. Pasta with shrimp - shrimp still had the tails on. Sauce to pasta ratio was way off literally drowning like thin soup and overall it just tasted like garlic. Short ribs pasta - Tasted like veal or some "wild" meat, when questioned the waitress didn't even know if it was beef, veal or "pig" (LOL) Lasagna - Tasted like frozen Stoffer's box, literally. Hamburger - Decent, but average and also not what we came for. Breadsticks were 5/5, best thing I ate there! and desserts were massive I mean enough for 3 people each but just ok tasted almost frozen or just really really cold or not thawn. I think what's worse is we told the waitress we didn't like some of the dishes and there was nothing in return besides "I'm sorry." They did offer to box our leftovers and give us breadsticks to go, that's the reason for 2 stars, instead of 1. Big disappointment after seeing some of the other older great reviews. But more recent reviews also state the food is bland / tasteless, and we agree. We won't be returning here. I don't suggest it.

Dishes seem to be clearly explained on the menu. Most recent visit, I ordered the Stella Note pizza with the cheese bread as an appetizer. The table also gets bread. Heather was our server, and they were wonderful. After our entrees, they'll bring out a dessert sample platter so guests can see the dessert options before ordering. It's purely to look at and not taste. The restaurant has a whimsical atmosphere with dark, sultry lighting and fake vines and string lights draped across the walls and ceiling. From a distance I thought they might be dusty, but up-close they appeared surprisingly well-maintained and clean. I really appreciate that, as dirty/dusty props hanging over my meal are a major turn-off for me. The place overall, seemed very clean and tables set up neatly ready for customers to sit down. The main flag for me is the building itself. There are several uneven points in the flooring to trip over - even some ramps. The dim lighting can make things difficult to notice. Finding the restrooms was confusing even though there were small signs because it was dark. The route via the signs also seemed to lead through the drink area where cups are kept. I feel like that's not very common for restaurants to have you walk through so it made me question if I was going the right way. The ladies' restroom had small tight stalls. I didn't notice any accessible stalls or restrooms. To be fair, it is possible I missed them due to the low lighting. Overall, I would give the food and service 5 stars. The building itself is the reason i have to give an overall 4-star rating. I appreciate how strongly the restaurant remains loyal to its whimsical ambiance while still serving tasty dishes. Eating there reminds me of the cozy 90s sitcom settings for example from Friends or Sabrina the Teenage Witch. At the same time, we are now in 2026 and I think accessibility and ease of navigation are important considerations for customers. The restaurant serves well for me personally, but it may not be as comfortable or accessible for every guest that dines-in.

We usually stick to the bar but sat in the dining room this time, which was nicely decorated and set a great tone. Then the little things started adding up. The roasted beet appetizer was tasty but had virtually none of the promised goat cheese. The bread was delicious... but it came with the kind of individual butter packets you'd find at a breakfast buffet. For an elevated dining experience, that's a small but noticeable miss. The bigger hiccups came with the entrees. My husband's salmon on his salad was overcooked, and my filet came out well done when I ordered medium. To his credit, our waiter noticed before I even said anything and took it back... but the replacement came out beyond rare. Silver lining: the sizzling skillet actually saved the day. I sliced it up and finished it right on the skillet, bringing it up to somewhere between mid-rare and medium which is right where I like it. Crisis averted, but it shouldn't have come to that. The scalloped potatoes looked a little questionable at first glance, looked a little like there was just a slice of melted cheese on top... but they were actually really good once we dug in. Our waiter was attentive and genuinely kind throughout, which made the experience much easier to shake off.
