Yelp- Stella Notte First time visiting this local restaurant and it was a pleasant surprise. We were a group of 9. They do not do separate checks but was able to split it into 2 checks. So be prepared for that if going as a group. The inside of the restaurant could use some updating but we were there to enjoy each others company. We were taken towards the back area where they have an enclosed atrium like setting with tiny lights and an artificial tree for decor. They can accommodate larger groups in some parts of the restaurant. Our group was comfortably seated together and the volume of noise was not intrusive. I would be happy to note that we all enjoyed our meals and some had large enough portions to take home for an additional meal. All dishes came out at the same time and our server was helpful, knowledgeable about the menu and offered good suggestions. They have a wood-burning brick oven pizza oven and the Stella Notte pizza that one person ordered looked very appealing and she said it was delicious.

Light on flavor - heavy on the wallet. We got a make your own pasta and it felt the garlic oil was mostly oil with no embedded garlic goodness. The price for 2 entree with an appetizer just didn't feel "worth" it given the light flavors. But all in all - the ambiance made it still feel like a good time outside. The service is good the ambiance is great with the faux tree and lights.

This carry out Gorgonzola salad was $19 and I feel robbed and very disappointed. The small $9.5 salad that we ate in the restaurant was bigger. My advice DO NOT order carry out salad, you will be disappointed.

We celebrated my partner's 43rd birthday here and really enjoyed our time. We ordered a round of drinks, caprese, stuffed shells, and chicken piccata. Everything was timed well, they brought out free bread and oil (delish), and both entrees tasted great! We also ordered desserts, and one was complimentary for the birthday. Service was consistent, pleasant, and professional. The decor was nice in the greenhouse dining area though it was fake trees and fake ivy. We would definitely come back and try some of their many other entrees.

The best Italian restaurant in Ellicott City! I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! The staff and owner are warm and welcoming. The food is excellent! The other patrons are friendly. It's a place where it's comfortable to come and enjoy a meal alone. There's also a cozy little bar area. I almost always start with a cosmo...Erica makes them perfectly! I move to the calamari. It's lightly seasoned and lightly fried (that's code language for perfect!) Up next is pizza...the crust isn't too thick or too thin. They have the wood oven that gives the crust the perfect crunch. My favorite pizza is the veggie...always fresh, crisp veggies. I forgot to mention the warm bread...one of my favorite indulgences! Warm with olive oil, herbs and cheese for dipping. I seldom have room for dessert but they have a great selection.

My boyfriend wanted shrimp parm as a birthday meal and normally I would have made it at home but rough and busy work weeks meant trying to find a place nearby that had it on the menu. I personally had not ever heard of shrimp parm before (chicken, veal, eggplant? sure.) Yelp narrowed this place down as having it on the menu, so I called and made a reservation for outside dining for two on a Sunday evening. I asked if they were taking COVID saftey precautions and the person on the phone confirmed they were doing one use menus, gloves, masks, social distancing, etc. We got there 6:45 pm and were promptly seated. We ordered stuffed portobello mushrooms, tomato bruschetta, shrimp parm and chicken marsala. All the food we had was amazing. Nothing was too greasy or heavy, the portion sizes were very good. Service was fast and attentive. I would definitely recommend visiting these guys for dining or carryout, especially in times like this when small local businesses are struggling.

Beautiful ambiance, especially still being decorated for the holidays! The crabby tots had huge lump crab perfectly seasoned. My shrimp stella notte had a shrimp still with the shell partially on... But figure that's how you know it's freshly peeled to order LOL! Otherwise great taste overall.

My daughter wanted Italian food for her 9th birthday so we decided to visit Stella Notte. There is amble parking as the restaurant shares a parking lot with a strip mall. It was conspicuously empty for dinner service despite it being a week day. The restaurant likely seats 60+ patrons but there were maybe 8 which included family of four. Staff were kind. Not overly friendly but attentive to our needs. We had calamari as an appetizer and it was tasty. They also provide bread with oil and herbs. My daughter had fettuccine alfredo with shrimp, my son had fettuccine Alfredo with no protein. My wife had chicken piccata and I had shrimp parmesan. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My meal was "ok", Italian cuisine isn't my favorite but I feel that seasoning of the angel hair pasta and sauce was lacking. My wife didn't enjoy her meal at all. She took 90% to-go and still hasn't eaten anymore of it. I didn't think it was terrible but certainly not anything that I'd order. As mentioned, Italian cuisine isn't my favorite so that must be taken into consideration, but I am not likely to return.

Very average Italian-american restaurant. Not very authentic and I'd rather drive to DC or Baltimore for better. The mussels in white sauce were overpowered by white wine. The fruitti di mare seafood was not very fresh and pasta was forgettable. The spaghetti squash primavera wasn't flavorful and the squash was still pretty hard. Also pretty expensive for the quality and service was pretty slow. The interior is very nice, which is surprising given the exterior. I'd only give them another chance to try the pizza which seemed to be the popular

Frank asks disconsolately. "To watch...the feeling...the musicians...to see their joy. It's enough. To see that, to share it." Watching Ava recapture physically not just the performance in her retelling but the appreciation from both musicians and concert-goers alike, Frank starts to rediscover hope, even as he and Ava try to stay alive from the killers hunting them. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts from Eataliano Market & Deli, located at 5325 Phelps Luck Drive in Columbia, Maryland, prompt similarly unexpected overflows of culinary memories and joy. Upon our first visit of what we hope will be many, my wife and I placed the following takeout order: 1 order of Baked Meatballs 2 orders of Garlic Bread 1 ten-inch Empire Pie (I requested no ricotta or extra virgin olive oil) 1 order of Rigatoni Meatballs alla Vodka 1 order of Spaghetti with Homemade Meat Sauce 1 slice of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake 1 slice of Pistachio Cheesecake The garlic bread and pistachio cheesecake alone conjured spectacular reminisces. The pizza is the best we've had in Maryland, although my wife regretted my choice of no ricotta; and we would gladly reorder our pasta dishes if we didn't have many more entrees that we want to try.

HIDDEN GEM!!!! I…read morestumbled across this place while visiting Columbia, MD. I was craving a good cheesesteak, so I did what any responsible foodie would do--I consulted Google. This place kept popping up, so I figured the internet couldn't be wrong... at least not this time. The restaurant is tucked away in what feels like a residential area, making it a true hidden gem. The parking situation, however, deserves its own reality show. Spaces are limited, and getting in and out of the parking lot felt like I was participating in an advanced driving course. The establishment offers nice seating, but don't expect a formal dining experience. You place your order at the counter and then find your own seat. When we arrived, the place was packed with people ordering and eating. That's usually a good sign, and at that point I knew we had either found the jackpot or everyone in Columbia had the exact same cheesesteak craving. Because of the crowd, ordering took a little while. The dining area was also in need of some attention--we ended up cleaning our own table before sitting down. The food took longer than expected to arrive, but as soon as I took the first bite, all was forgiven. We ordered two cheesesteaks and a personal pepperoni pizza. The cheesesteaks were absolutely loaded with perfectly grilled meat, topped with grilled onions and peppers, all served on a warm, soft hoagie roll. Every bite was packed with flavor and required at least a few extra napkins. The personal pepperoni pizza was also excellent. I'd describe it as a traditional thin-crust pizza with the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. No ingredient was trying to steal the spotlight--it was a well-rehearsed pizza ensemble. As I said from the beginning, this place is a hidden gem. The food alone is worth the trip. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is because of the challenging parking situation and the dining area's cleanliness and service. Fix those two issues, and this place might just become my new definition of a cheesesteak pilgrimage destination

Our large party (six adults and a baby in a high chair) did not comport with Resy reservation booking limitations. We could not specify 7 people at all, AND Facci did not receive or did not respond to our need for a table large enough to accomodate the high chair without intruding on neighboring patrons at nearby tables. In anticipation of this problem, we did arrive a little early. The hostess and manager found alternative seating for us that worked a bit better - we did appreciate the flexibility. Still, it should have been possible to book a table for 7 online and Facci needs to improve this. Service was pleasant and competent overall. The restaurant certainly was busy - nearly every table was full by 7pm when we left. The busy-ness may have affected occasional service missteps, primarily borne of failures in anticipation. Our large-ish party was provided an insufficient number of rolls in the basket (only 4) and only one small bottle of tap water. As he was busy, our otherwise pleasant and competent waiter was hard to find. This too is an area of improvement. Seven entrees (six adults and a child) and 4 mixed drinks set us back a tad over $300. A little pricey; Facci cannot be a regular haunt. It's a pretty big place with a bar and booths on the left, and another area of booths on the right. We were greeted and seated quickly by the hosts, and as we asked, we landed near the performer in the area to the right. The place was busy around 6pm, and friendly server quickly got menus for us, and within a few minutes, we had our drinks: a lovely $13 Maple Walnut Old Fashioned, fiery intense Makers Mark sweetened a little by maple syrup and focussed with walnut bitters. And a bright $13 Pom Pom Fizz, earthy gin with pomegranate juice, prosecco, and i think some lime juice. Both were well crafted , balanced, and refreshing. They started us with a sliced long narrow loaf of hot filone bread, with one of our Italian favorites, warm pinzimonio dipping oil: fresh aromatic olive oil with a pinch of mixed rich parmesan crumbles, zingy red-pepper flakes, and savory green herbs. It is tempting to make our whole meal of this! We had the $19 salmon & spinach in oil & garlic, from Tino's "lighter fare" menu. This was a huge filet, tender inside with a lovely deep crosshatch char on the surface. Quite perfect! And we asked for a customized $14 sandwich: Tino's offers a steak & cheese on chewy crusty hoagie roll, and we asked for added sautéed green peppers, with the generous cheese, sliced red onion and tomato, and lettuce on the side. The generous thin-sliced beef was tender and sweet cooked just right. The tasty lightly-seasoned fries were piping hot, and soft inside. We were perfectly satisfied with our light meal, and we managed to take a good amount home for later. The skilled musician, Bruce Casteel, played 5 to 7pm, a warm selection of familiar acoustic jazz, easy and fun to listen to. We'll return both for this musician and for the wide menu of flavorful food. Long story short, it was a scrumptious take-away meal! I might as well tell you, I came here because we were at a dinner party where some unexpected event ruined the planned main course. The hosts ran here for a quick substitution with fettuccini bolognese, and I really liked it. Then I tried to make some at home a couple weeks ago, using a NYT recipe, no less. It came out ok, but not good enough for the hours it takes to make it properly. So i decided to come here on a buy-one get-one-half-price Tuesday to see if it was as good as i remembered it from that party. This Squisito is in a long building along the west side of a large parking area near a Giant Foods and a Home Depot, and there are several 15-minute spots right out front for takeout. It's a creatively decorated space, with bright murals representing NYC graffiti art. The cashier has Manhattan vibes, cool without necessarily needing me to get it ;-). Take-out ordering was quick and smart, when it's busy they use separate lines for takeout and dine-in, and my order was ready in around fifteen minutes. So of course I got the fettuccini bolognese, a very generous serving of richly flavored thick meaty sauce over tender noodles. It was better than the NYT recipe that i tried at home a couple of weeks ago! And the included garlic toast was crunchy and aromatic. For me, their huge takeout of two orders was six meals! I'm pretty sure most will have at least four meals out of it. There it is, a chain pasta and pizza place that's worth it!
