It was alright. The actual karaoke was fun, but the food is too overpriced to be the quality it is. I paid about $20 (including the mandatory 18% gratuity) for chicken and waffles and it was just gross. Not to mention the portion size was disgustingly small. It felt like they gave me an ego with two chicken tenders on them and a weird sauce. I was going to get the tacos, which are about the same price, but paying $20 for three small tacos is INSANE. they did end up giving me a refund bc I just couldn't eat it. I also have a problem with the mandatory gratuity for the room. The gratuity when you get food is a separate, additional 18% when you order, but you still have to pay gratuity for the room even tho they don't do anything, but open the door to let you into it. Maybe I'm missing something, but the service in general was not exceptional and charging everyone mandatory gratuity while the staff does no additional work is ridiculous. Also multiple of our mics just kept going out during our session, and their songs weren't that updated. For the price, I would just stay in and do karaoke at home. read more

This place is the worst karaoke place I have ever been to. Once we arrived, the hostess asks if you have a reservation but I didn't. Then she asked how big the party was and when we told her 7, she gave us a price immediately without explaining how the rate works because I've been to some places where you have to spend a certain amount of money for the room through food and drinks and others are by the hr. So we paid thinking it was the rate for the room itself without a time limit. The microphones were very poor quality that it took us like 25-30 minutes to adjust the sound quality. We kept asking the employee how to make the microphones louder because just holding it regularly and singing into it did nothing. No sound was coming from the microphones. He kept telling us that you had to use your entire hand to cover the top part of the microphones for it to have sound but who sings like that?! My hand was cramping from cupping/holding the microphone like that. The system to select songs was also a bit of a pain because of the predictive text. It kept changing the artist's name so in the end had to just scroll through the list of artist starting from A half of the time. Then at the hr mark, the ipad goes to their home screen telling us our time was up. It was really frustrating because we didn't know there was a time limit and we had spent SOOO much times trying to get the microphones to work that once we got settled and in the groove, time was up. Also the employee that checked up on us from time to time never gave us the option of if we wanted to extend our time of the room and was basically like "time is up. Thanks for coming, bye." We went for a birthday celebration. Awesome time. Very friendly staff Jermain and ShyAnn were very accommodating. The manager was on site and was very flexible since we did not have all our crew together. We only did 1 hour but wished we did more. Had a blast! Know your song before you go in. The time goes fast. First time here and I loved it! We went last night (Thursday night) to celebrate my best friend's birthday. Thursday is ladies night. Ladies sing free and get 1/2 off of the 1st cocktail. They start your time when you start singing, so make sure you're ready! There were about 4 microphones in our room, so just enough. There is an iPad with various songs to select. Con: not enough selection for songs and they play their version of the song. Therefore, it causes the beat and lyrics to sometimes be off. Their food and drinks are amazing!! I ordered the Imagine Dragonberries cocktail and it was perfection! The lollipop honey thai lollipop wings were to die for! That honey thai sauce was heaven, truly. But my favorite thing was the PlugIn sushi roll that I ordered. I was so flavorful and filling. My experience was amazing. read more

We were celebrating NYE early and decided to Uber to this place. When we got there at 10, we asked what the prices were, they said $36 per person for a minimum of three hours. We didn't want to stay there that long and spend that much money so we left to get drinks elsewhere. We came back around 12 to see if the prices would be adjusted since it's getting late. They allowed us to purchase one hour for $13 per person. When we got there, the bar was closing so we ordered some beers. The private room was clean and awesome. You could adjust the temperature, the light show, and there's a phone to call the front desk. There's a huge couch and television. The room fits about ten to fifteen people. They provide you with a tablet to pick your songs. One qualm about that is, they didn't have much of a selection of songs. Pros: great place to throw a party, hang out with friends, and sing your heart out. Cons: pricey and they need to add more songs. They should charge by the room not per person. Overall, I would truly give this place 3.5 stars. It's a huge place with lots of rooms. I really like their lights inside. However, I can't see my self spending that much money all the time there. read more

You want to go with one person for dinner & karaoke they have a room for that! You want to bring the entire office? They have a room for that, too! Now most of us yelpies are huge foodies right? You think karaoke bar food will be subpar..... well it sure wasn't! Plating was beautiful, food was delicious & everyone seemed impressed. One small glitch was my husbands wine glass has lipstick marks around the glass. Ugh! We are super chill so didn't freak out because stuff happens right? Julia Roberts look alike (haha I told the server she resembled her) immediately replaced it no worries- back to the party! You get something similar to an iPad to choose songs to put in your queue. We were overcharged and the service was subpar. My server practically followed me out the door as if I was trying to stiff him on the check, they seem to have a preconceived notion about AA people. Didn't look like they wanted to help at all. The ipads we were using for song selection died during our session. Keep in mind, the place opened at 4 and our reservation was at 4. 2/3 of our mics sucked, low volume and keeped going in and out. Plus, the songs that were available were outdated and they didn't have a wide variety to choose from. Got a room for four people, room was dirty, waitress came in and cleaned up stuff from previous customers. Ordered food and beer, food was great, draft beer was horrible, smelled sour and a bit like chemicals. I went to bar to explain the issue, bartender said all the draft beer is like that! Really? I drink Miller draft all the time, this was so sour and disgusting. Maybe clean beer lines? Well after 2 beers wasted, I ordered bottle beer, which did not taste or smell the same. This place has gone downhill. It use to be upscale but now it's just basic! The food and service were terrible and when I tried to bring it to the manager's attention she tried to tell me I was wrong because her staff stated otherwise. Did she really think they were going to admit to dropping the ball? She then offered me to come back on her... why would I go back if it was terrible service and food? It seemed as if she thought I wanted a refund when actually I thought I was doing her a favor by letting her know the staff was not doing their jobs. Suffice it to say I declined her offer. PlugIn is a great experience for the average person who are not looking to showcase their singing abilities. The rooms are spacious and the food is great! It's also in a great location, which is the Gulfstream Park. Now for the downsides. It's a bit of learning curve to figure out their app. Of course you can use your own phone to plug in, but the lyrics won't go on monitor or screen. Their playlist on the website doesn't work so don't waste your time. Also the stereo in the rooms aren't setup ideally causing a lot of sound distortion. Don't give this business your money. They run on their own time outside of those listed. They are unaccommodating and will charge you for anything they can squeeze money out of you for. Went to a bat mitzvah here in which the custom ordered cake delivery the family was waiting for throughout the whole night "never arrived" despite the PlugIN team having received it hours before the event. They were forced to pay for an overpriced plain cake that the karaoke place had stored in their fridge. Once someone at PlugIN found it the next day, the owner Lior refused to admit the error on his team's end and offered no compensation. Literally spend your money anywhere else read more

We hosted our annual holiday at PlugIn Karaoke. Shani was our event coordinator and she was phenomenal!! From the initial process of coordinating the event and all the support in between, she answered every question and provided us solutions for all of our requests. She offered us the corporate suite to host all of our 160+ employees. It was a perfect suite! Not to mention on the day of the event, she was very hands on and catered to our every need with a smile on her face. Her and her team were incredible! I highly recommend this place! She was extremely friendly, answered all my questions without a sigh and went above and beyond by gifting the birthday girl with balloons. Some people may be believe this gesture is nOthing but her thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. The second customer service representative Audrey was equally as friendly and a great pleasure to speak to. Upon arriving to the venue we were highly impressed with the decor... it was cool, hipster, retro and above all very clean. Our room hostess Melanie was always available by constantly checking in on our group... she was literally a phone call away. Each room is equipped with wall phone to contact the front desk. The selection of music was diverse and plentiful. The owner and/or manager (mr handsome; forgot his name) provided our party group with extraordinary care... I had been looking for a place to host my girlfriends birthday party and I was happy to have found Plugin on Yelp. They helped me host a surprise party for my girlfriend. The stress of coordinating the party was definitely the hard part and Noelia helped answer all of my questions ahead of time, this was critical in making sure surprise was not ruined. What a fun place! It was so cool to go to a place where you have your own private karaoke room. We were 13 women and we had a blast. Though the first room we went I the microphones were not working. So this was not good. We all loved to another room. My friend (birthday girl) brought her iPad with playlists on it but could not seem to get it working thru their system so we used their- mind you - you might think this was not a big deal but it was! She spent hours putting this playlist together and she is quite the Beatles fan (ended up not singing any Beatles however)! A lot of yummy food was brought on as well- nachos, chips and salsa, skewered steak and chicken, sushi. And of course dessert (brownies, ice cream)- my friend brought herself a birthday cake! We were able to dim the lights, flicker them, and control the temperature in the room. Very comfortable room with built ins. The mikes in this room worked some times and some times not! So we ended whosever had drinks, got them comped (I was only drinking water and soda). I am someone who does not normally sing but I did sing and had a blast! No holds bar! I loved the hallways and all of the lighting in the halls too. I would definitely go back- we had a blast! Different nights have different specials! Different size groups get different rooms! Came here for a friend's birthday party, and it's a really fun concept! As soon as the drinks started flowing, everyone had a great time. Greta was handling our huge party and did it with such ease. Anything we asked for, she graciously helped us out. She showed us how to select the songs on a tablet, and pretty much made sure we had whatever we needed. The fries were amazing, and so was the flatbread pizza! I would come back here again but opt for a larger room. It got crowded as the night went on, and we started to run out of room but the staff brought in a few extra chairs. I'm not too sure about pricing since I was part of a party. Some of the mics kept going out, but we were so loud we didn't really need them. read more

So the first time i three an event here , everything was perfect ! That was back in 2018 . It was my sisters 16th birthday party! The party and service i received was great for about 8 guests Now, coming back a second time to throw another event with 15 guests , spent well over $600. The service i was received was horrible ! The staff was super rude , especially the MANAGER. It was a foreign male , i asked about a coupon i received in my mail about a social media post gets you a free cocktail! First off, his attitude towards me evens bringing it up was as if he was being condescending. Not until i told him to disregard the whole request , he then decided to offer me a Pitty drink, which I declined ; because it wasn't about me not being able to pay for my drink which he made it seem like . It was super disappointing The receptionist female who is of Trinidad or Guyanese decent was also rude ! And for islander myself i would've expected her to be nice . She was very rude and showed no respect - i guess it's because i was throwing my sisters 17th birthday party they felt as if i was young adult trying to Cheat the system.
