We had so much fun here once we figured out it was located above the bowling alley. We got in no problem toward the end of the night on a Friday night Which was shocking! As a group of 8, we were super obnoxious and loud... Singing any and all songs that came to mind - but we weren't told to be quiet or keep it down one time. We had a very attentive server and we felt like we were the only ones there in the whole place. Only complaint is the song selection... There were a bunch of songs missing. PlugIN is a great venue for parties. It was alot of fun and the rooms were super cute. We were celebrating my 11 year old nieces graduation to middle schools. She had an amazing time and was super overjoyed. The server we had for our room was very nice. But there were some negatives to the night. We had 11 people in our party but 3 people in our group were running 15 minutes late. We arrived at our scheduled time of an 8-10 session. We asked if we can start our time 15 minutes later to wait for my dad and sister. They said they cannot do that as they had another party coming. I knew that wasnt true. The place was very empty and just as I thought, as our time was over we saw there were no other parties coming in. . Also we had one person driving from Orlando. He showed up at 9:15 and our session was from 8-10. They still made him pay full price and the front lady was very rude about it. At 10pm on the dot they turned off our room, I mean even turned the air off. We paid so much money, bought alot of food and drinks for them to treat customers so poorly. Although we enjoyed and had a great time, the place is too cut throat and corporate and not flexible at all so I dont think I would ever return. read more

Plug In Karaoke at Gulfstream in Hallendale is a cool place to have a good time if you love music. I had a blast last Saturday at a friend's birthday party. The DJ 8n the private room was awesome. We were in room one, but I know there are at least 11 because I passed 11 on the way to the restroom. When you enter they give you a wristband which gets you in and out. You pay an admission fee and then pay for your drinks. They also have hookah. I would not recommend getting any thing on draft. I ordered a Yengling draft and it was bad, switched to a bottle which was okay. Also, the fountain drinks were not carbonated well. Other than that though the experience was good. At the party there were chicken fingers, sweet potato fries, burgers and an avocado salad. The food was good. I didn't ask if it came from there or if it was catered. But I got the impression it was made in house. The venue is currently under construction so I can imagine over time it will probably get better. A word of advice though is to clean you tap lines because they are either old or just not maintained well. read more

A friend booked this spot for Galentines and it was a great choice. Parking is an available on the street, in lots and valet. It was about tricky for me to locate as the sign for the building is not the actual entrance. With assistance from valet I was able to locate (hint: take the elevator to the 2nd floor). We prepaid for our room and were ushered into the room without incident. Menus for ordering food and drinks are available. Our server was fun and attentive. While we were singing our hearts out our tv monitor went out . After the staff fixed the problem our time had ran out... but no one reclaimed our time. Since we didn't have our Beyoncé moment as yet, we forked over more money to complete our singing residency. But it would have been nice for them to refund some of our money. Once we were leaving it seemed like the party had just started as droves of people were coming out. There was a dj and and outside party. Went here for my cousin's bat mitzvah. It was VERY LOUD. I suspect that is because I am old and most of the attendees were thirteen. We had a good time though! The drinks we had were good. I had more than I should have... it was a great night, and I love that they have private rooms so you don't have to sing in front of a lot of strangers. The staff were thorough at checking ID's at the door. I also appreciated that this particular Karaoke room had an exit right onto a nice green patio area, so we could escape the music when it became a little too much for us. This place in my time and it was super cool fire. However, the signage is not great. The picture on Google maps shows a door downstairs and there is no sign that says that it is located upstairs. When I got there 15 minutes late because of this, I explained it to the manager. She told me that she would give me the extra time that would work with us so we wouldn't lose out on the 15 minutes. We had already lost. That was a lie. We were swiftly escorted out and the TV was turned off promptly at the original time. The 15 minutes were never added. What a fun spot for karaoke! We came here with a group of 11 on a Friday night for a couple hours of karaoke. You get your own private room (and it was plenty of space for our group) and four microphones to share. Rooms are soundproof, and we had a blast belting out our favorite songs. While they don't have ALL the most popular songs, their catalog is still really impressive. They also serve food and alcohol. A server will stop by your room for orders. While we didn't order food, they had a pretty good selection of alcohol for a decent price. Just know that they do an automatic 18% service charge/gratuity on your bill. It is definitely a bit pricier to come here - for our group of 11, we paid nearly $400 for 2 hours - they charge per person/hour. That being said, we still had a great time. read more

We had an outstanding time! ^.^ So how it works is you pay per person per hour, (I have attached a photo for your viewing of the prices), depending how many are in your party you get a musical room. All the rooms are different and are sound proof so you will not hear anything outside those rooms. The room we had brought 4 microphones (we were 5 total) which was more than enough. Staff were very accommodating and very friendly. They have rooms that can fit from 2 to 150 people!!! This is located right next (3rd floor) to the Gulfstream Horse racing and casino. The drinks were pretty sweet which I prefer to my liking and we didn't get a chance to order food because we only stayed for 1 hour. Please Note: They charge an automatic 18% service charge for booking the room and food + beverages. This is an ideal party spot. They have private rooms that you share on a birthday or special event. I love the freedom that allows you to sing any song you please no restrictions. I do believe their prices are a bit high to just sing with friend. I would recommending creating packages that can include other services in addition to karaoke. Basically the concept of this place is that you get a private room where you and your friends can sing karaoke without having to be worried about strangers hearing you sing horribly and ending up in a viral video. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by their friendly staff who provide you with a wristband and walk you to your karaoke room. The rooms radiated a fun and intimate feel with great visual lighting. Our server, Luis was exceptional. Being that we were a party of 10 he managed to take care of us individually and was extremely attentive. All the equipment that was provided to us was sanitary and worked well. There was a wide variety of music to select from which was displayed on an iPad. The food and drinks were decent. I ordered the margarita and the chicken Tostones that I thoroughly enjoyed. I prepaid for a party of 10 and the front desk staff charged a cover for one of my friends who was already paid for, insisting that she was NOT paid for. One star for my experience is too much. They ruined our birthday party. First, the majority of the song were not playing. They told us to plug our phones in and play those songs on YouTube. With no lyrics on the tv. We had to argue till they relocated us to a different room, where everything worked. Second, we noticed our bills were super high. The person who had 2 drinks ended up paying over $70. It turned out they add stuff you she hasn't ordered. The same with several other bills. They added a whole bunch of Don Julio shots to our bills. No one had a single shot at our party. When I ask the waitress for her name, she gave me a fake one. The real name is shameless Yubriela. I hope the management would look into it and fire this person. While the manager was reviewing the video recording from our room, and refunding us all the fake charges, shameless Yubriela was standing there smiling. I guess the manager was involved as well, as she didn't even say a word to her, nor apologized to us. They did refund us all the fake charges, but, unfortunately, we couldn't get the service charge back. read more

So we attended a Birthday party here Saturday night. The young guy who DJing was greatnand had a great selection of music. We had an open bar and the bartender did a really good job as well. I liked the selfie photo machine, but lighting was an issue when pics were developed. The food we had was appetizers and they were tasty. My one issue is that the food containers weren't labeled and it was dark. I thought they were serving fish tacos by the look of them with the minimal lighting...come to find out they were shrimp taco's which I'm highly allergic to. I definitely dodged a bullet when I noticed while walking back to my table where there was lights. They served wings, sweet potato fries and nachos. All three things were the perfect bites for this type of event. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a good time and a few laughs with friends. read more

I visited this place quite a few times before and I do really like it. The options for food , drinks, private room is all pretty good. This place allows you to book online if reservations are not available there is always a customer care number that you can call and they tried to accommodate you. I called earlier Saturday morning to book a slot for 10 people and was able to be accommodated by the staff. Once there we did the check in got our bands and was escorted to our room. Once in the room our hostess provided us with menus and drinks. Over all pretty yummy and standard food and drinks . The hostess went over how to use the karaoke system. The room was spacious . For our group we were allowed about five microphones which was pretty good . One of the biggest issues with this place is the lack of music and lyrics. The system is extremely slow and you can tell very old. There was barely any new songs and by new I mean within the last 2 decades. There is an option to connect your phone which was cool but there still was no options to see the words on television so do true karaoke style. This is something I do think they should definitely address. Overall it was a good experience but definitely needs updating. My friends and I really enjoy karaoke and we came here to celebrate one of their birthdays. The ambiance was nice and that was about it. Yeah you get a private room but it'll come out a better deal if you just buy a karaoke machine and plan a fun night of karaoke at your house with friends. SERVICE: The service was not good. Let me just start off by saying that these people don't carry change so they'll round up and take your money. That pissed me off because even if it's change, it's the principle. They charge $16 per hour per person. $33 to sing for 2 hours and that didn't include anything to eat or drink. Then nobody there is really friendly. They're in a place that is about fun and excitement and they look bothered. The mics all kept dying. We had to ask them for new mics at least 5 times writing those 2hrs. At some point all the screen stopped in the middle of a song which took time from our very expensive reservation. We weren't allowed to have more than 4 mics in our room. Even though we were 6 and the room was big enough to sit 20ppl. And what really put the cherry on the cake was when our time was about to run out, one of the workers came in the room and stood there like a guard dog with a pissed off face while my friend was finishing up her song. This is the second time I go there and I left with a sour taste in my mouth. The first time was the same, I wouldn't have come the second time if it weren't that my friend wanted to celebrate here.
