I love Davie Ranch! This ranch is so beautiful. I came here for the first mommy & me event hosted by Paola the owner. My son enjoyed this event so much. He got to pet the farm animals, he loved the pony ride, he got to groom the horses, feed donkeys, play with chickens, and ended with some time playing in the playground with friends. It was such a fun experience. I can't wait to go back! Such a lovely little place very clean well established the horses looked happy and well fed. Don't have any downside comments for this establishment. Cute little petting area, clean restrooms, friendly staff. Sits on a massive piece of land which a lot of it has now been sold, but this is a very old beautiful piece of land that has old Florida trees cascading all over and there's enough space to walk around and still get to see some beautiful natural wildlife. They all sorts of ducks and geese and fun little animals here that really bonded and love each other horseback riding is a blast here make sure you're clear of what you want because there are a lot of options for horse riding. read more

My husband and I brought our almost 4 year old daughter here for the open play session. It cost $20 for her, and $10 each for us for a three hour session. It was our first time there, and we had a blast. There are a tons of animals to pet, not just horses. The ranch also gives you the opportunity to groom the horses. There are horse rides and hay rides. There is a playground, basketball court, shirt zip line, and mini maze as well as an indoor archery range. They have a few snacks for sale including a s'more ingredients kit, which you can then use at their fire pit. All the staff there was so friendly and helpful. Davie Ranch is a fabulous place for riding lessons with gorgeous horses suited for all experience levels. Linda is a master equestrian with a focus on safety and care for the rider and horse. I take my 2.5 year old for weekly lessons. He starts with grooming the horse and finishes with saying yeehaw! read more

We have been aware of Davie Ranch for years and never made it before today. Without being overbearing they seem to think of making things very easy and seamless. We bought tickets online. One of the reasons we didn't visit before was that admission is charged for both kids and adults. We paid $20 for our son and $10 for us, mommy and daddy. In hindsight it's fully worth it. I was able to try activities I've never participated in such as archery but even just walking around would be worth the price of admission. The staff was very accommodating from the people directing us to park, the greeters/admission staff, to especially the people that ran the activities or supervised the animal encounters. There wasn't a single person that was unpleasant. Stand out people were Tray (I think that's his name) who helped people on and ofc the hayride and gave tons of history and useful information. The lady we spoke to at the stables as we helped groom horses was helpful and gave us additional informations and even provided rubber bands to help with the braids we made in the horse's mane. All staff was abundant and it really stood out that they were all pleasant. No one was on their phones or looked bothered to make themselves available. For example, there were 2 people at the cup line which felt reassuring. It's so rare to find younger staff that interacts in a pleasant way. Even if I do my best I can't come up with anything negative. I loved trying archery and I loved that my son got to ride horses, pet ponies, donkeys, chickens, pigs, and many more animal friends. There were a ton of areas to stroll around and play. Lots of stuff to swing or climb. I picture this place in weddings and cannot believe it's kind of hidden in a city area. There is a lake that is used for summer/winter/other camps. We will surely be back and may think of sending our son for the times school is closed (and we are off, since we don't live here). If we lived closer he would go here all the time. What a beautiful place with beautiful people running it. The surroundings. Wood fire smell, and cool buildings make this a calming place to hang out for a few hours. read more

Beautiful location, well kept, friendly staff and just a nice atmosphere. I went for one of my best friends babyshower and absolutely loved it. They had a petting zoo for kids to interact with animals, pony rides, little furniture for them to sit and hang out. They have rope climbing, zip lining among other kids friendly things for kids to entertain themselves with. The place for the party is covered which is a plus, love that it has the horses names in front of their stable door and explains if they're friendly or bite. Parking is huge and easy. It has a private entrance that it's easy to come in and out. I loved how everything came out for the babyshower and how helpful everyone was. I definitely recommend this location. read more

The ranch can get crowded but not uncomfortable. The staff was friendly and the farm is rustic. The petting zoo was the cutest thing ever. Adults are able to join the kids as well. I got to hold one of the baby chicks. The treehouse was another favorite with the kids. I recommend being careful when you are approaching a horse to pet them. One did snap at us. There is also a corral where the kids can ride a horse guided by one of the staff but the line can get a little disorganized when there are too many people. Overall it was a nice experience and most important the kids had fun. read more

I was hired to be a photographer for a 50th birthday party at this venue and it was my first time visiting this ranch. Even though I've lived in the area for 25 years, never knew that this venue existed and it had it all. Beautiful location and great space for any party. The adults had fun with live salsa band on a stage big enough to accommodate four of them including singer and their instruments. There was great dance space area, a lot of the country decorations were a very nice touch to see horses in their stable and other live animals including rabbits, chickens, lovebirds and more. The staff were nice enough to even let the kids be able to pet them and give a tour on the horses. Overall, seems like a great venue for all ages, plenty of space/parking, and highly recommend for anybody who is looking for an event venue space in the area. The party was Havana nights themed and it worked well, would also recommend for those looking for a western theme party. Davie Ranch has it all! read more

Great place for the Celebration of Life. Great and friendly staff. The animals were so wonderful.

I am so happy we went to celebrate their fall festivities! My twins are 8 years old, and they had the perfect activities for them. First, we got to explore the chicken coup. They had fun chasing them around and seeing the turkeys and roosters. Then we walked over to see the cows and horses. After that, they got to ride the horse for the first time ever! They had so much fun, they wanted to go again. The ranch also has a cool treehouse the kids can play in. If your child is not over 42", they can ride the ponies instead of the horse. There's also a bouncy house, and a petting zoo. It is the perfect place to get out and enjoy Mother Nature, and let the kiddos play and exhaust some energy! read more

Attended the Halloween Dia de Los muertos party. My first time at the ranch. The party itself was a lot of fun with all animals in costume. The ranch was also decorated beautifully with a real alter and real ofrendas. The only bad thing I can say is that the Dj was playing the music so loud that one horse was pacing in his stall for hours and the rabbits were shaking. Also mainly small children in attendance. If you are looking for the perfect location for a birthday party for small children, between 2-6 this place has it going on. With amazing customer service, they greet you at the gate and help unload your car, with little direction needed set up the entire party area with all your decorations, clean up, and help you put everything back in the car! And that's just set up and clean up. The grounds are beautifully kept up and so are the animals! In the front are the horses and ponies. Since they offer riding lessons there is a wide selection of saddles and bridles. The trainers are quite knowledgeable about the different types of riding gear. For the purpose of this birthday, they had the ponies all ready to go, all the children needed was to pick out a helmet. The petting zoo is one of the best I've ever been to. Clean and looks like a learning center with wood tables and stools. It is also closely monitored. Outdoors they have a huge tree house, the kind you are on the show Tree House Masters. The kids all loved it and the tree swing. The owners also had a bounce house and bounce slides. It was a great party! read more

My husband and I had our wedding reception at this beautiful ranch 01/23/16. The barn was clean and decorated perfectly. The animals were an extra treat. I know the guests loved seeing the horses, rabbits, dogs and goats around the Ranch. Megan and her staff at the ranch were great and very accommodating to our big and rowdy crowd. We did have a large party of about 140-150 people. The caterer, which we got through the ranch, was great and there was more than enough and delicious. We did hire our own band, The Uproot Hootenanny, which rocked it and kept everyone on the dance floor. I really could have not have asked for a more beautiful place to have this type of party. We have not stopped hearing how "this was the best wedding reception they have ever been too!" If your looking for a unique party venue for any occasion look no further. You will not be disappointed. Yesterday was one of the best days ever and that is all thanks to Davie Ranch. My husband and I are not ranch people and we stumbled upon this place by accident. We walked in not really sure what to expect. Our daughter is only 2 years old and has never ridden a horse or pony. We approached with caution and we were greeted with nice, compassionate, patient and professional staff. The moment our daughter was on that pony is the moment I heard the best noise of my life. My daughter started cackling like never before. I have never seen my daughter so happy. I think we rode the pony at least 6 times that day. We also went inside the barn and held, petted and interacted with bunnies, ferets, hedgehogs, bunnies and turtles. You can also feed the chickens and pigs. If I could live at this ranch I would. I have been going to Davie Ranch for almost a year. My riding instructor Jackie has taken me from a beginner to leasing a horse at the ranch. She is so amazing with the horses and the students. Jackie has kids really enjoying the riding experience from riding to horse care and always puts our safety first. There is so much to do here for everyone from riding lessons, horse shows, parties, weddings and even a cool treehouse. It is the greatest for kids. I LOVE this place! I have a 3 year old son who loves going there for an open play, so we decided to do his 3rd birthday party there. It was wonderful! I LOVE the space, such a variety of stuff to do for kids of all ages. Beautiful grounds, treehouse, well taken care of horses and petting zoo. Additionally in the back they have a bounce house and a fun large slide. There is a shaded and cooled party area inside, which helps during the very hot days. This place is well taken care of, and what is most important it is ran by some quality people. From day one of my planning Megan was great; professional, friendly, attentive and accommodating. Her entire staff was wonderful and helpful. Not only did they all make sure things were going smoothly, they were very pleasant and helpful with the set up and clean up, which made my life so much easier. We had a wonderful time! The only issue I had was that the owner has a beautiful motorcycle parked on site, which is very cool, but I needed to have them hide it during my party, as I was worried about little kids trying to climb it. I requested that few days prior to the event, but it did not happened, so we had to readdress the issue again during the party, which was a bit frustrating. So for anyone in the future I would recommend to insist even more about having it well hidden. Still, the place is great, I highly recommend it for your next event or just for a fun day at the ranch during open play. read more

OVERPRICED AT $25.00 per child and $10.00 per adult for the EASTER EGG HUNT. I wouldn't mind paying $25.00 per child if They would have provided nice entertainment for the children. But the bounce house was small. The swing was small and in bad condition. One tiny area to pet a bunny and the line to get in was a 30 Minute wait. Overall not nice at all. Not worth it! read more
