There was a shaded trail but since we were going there to let a toddler ride for the 1st time, we had to walk beside the pony carrying her. The trail is plenty large for a horse or pony. But a bit awkward for an adult walking next to the pony. Also, due to the temp, I was getting overheated so we only walked about 15 min of the 30 min. We didn't ask for a refund or a rain check. Kinda our fault for booking in the dead of a Florida summer.

The farm store itself has an incredible variety of goods. They have natural eggs, raw milk, meat and seafood available for purchase. They also have natural bottled condiments and honey. On the weekend the petting zoo is open so that's really fun as well and you can spend some time exploring the grounds.

We said we would just go and see if they'll let us go in and take pictures quickly. I paid for a ticket to the pumpkin patch for $5 at 4:30 on the dot. The woman who charged me didn't mention anything about closing soon or a time limit. I continued to the pumpkin patch where I handed my ticket to a young girl who again did not say anything about closing soon/etc. There was actually a good amount of people in there when I arrived. My friend and I started taking pictures for about 10 minutes before the young girl told us she let us stay late and that we now had to leave. When we said they closed at 5, and it wasn't 5, she said they close at 4:30 and that she already let us stay late and she has to leave. We argued back saying we literally bought our tickets at 4:30 and gave them to her then and she never said anything. I get it if you're closed, but why not say something ahead of time and then rush us at the last minute. Really did not like that. Will not be returning.

This family owned farmers market is in it's own small building. It was very interesting to me because this is the first place I found that sells raw milk. It is not something I personally drink but advocates claim that the pasteurization of milk destroys the nutrients, enzymes, and good bacteria. Benefits of raw milk may include more nutrients, improved digestion, and enhanced immune function. Others believe that the benefits are outweighed by health risks associated with consuming raw dairy products. The raw products sold here state they are not for human consumption. In addition to raw milk they also sell raw milk kefir, raw yogurt, raw cheese, raw butter, and raw milk ice cream. Other products they sell include organic produce grown in Southwest Ranches, local honey, hormone free and grass fed meat and seafood, farm fresh eggs, bath and beauty products, bread, and fresh made key lime pies. Staff was on hand to helpfully answer customers questions. I do believe that food is medicine and that it can heal you. This market subscribes to that philosophy. It is a niche for people who don't mind paying more to know where there food comes from, want clean ingredients, or are into a particular lifestyle choice. If you are looking for a large selection or inexpensive prices, this is probably not for you but I enjoyed my visit.

Some evenings they have AA meetings and the parking lot gets full. I try to go here in the morning. Often I see goats along B the fence line from the neighboring property. The best is when there are horses in the park and I can tell that my dogs are thinking, what is that? It's a simple park but a nice place to walk and it's quiet. There are restrooms but not much other amenities.

There are no hazards in the entrance, the ranch provides volunteers with water but we all bring our own food. Taking care of 60+ animals, as anyone can imagine, is quite expensive and this charitable organization focuses all of their funding on ensuring the animals are fed, sheltered, physically cared for including teeth cleaning, shodding, and regular medical care. All volunteers are welcome and work in whatever capacity they are comfortable with. Please come out and see for yourself. You will be so glad you did!

This barn is clean and friendly. The horses are looked out for by everyone because it's like a big family here. They are also turned out daily. There is an Olympic size dressage ring and also a jumping arena. I can't say enough about Kerstin, the trainer. She trains dressage, equitation and equestrian jumping. She is patient, kind, but also assertive. The best of everything. I'm so happy to be a part of this barn! If your looking to board, take lessons or purchase a horse you don't need to look any further.
