Thank you to CJ and the beautiful Ladies for helping us create a wonderful memory today for my two nephews on their first lesson in western horseback riding. The experience was first rate and the staff were fantastic.

First time here, amazing experience. I did a one hour ride with Kevin. It was absolutely amazing and Kevin made me feel safe and he was extremely knowledgeable and professional.

What an amazing place to get out of the routine and connect with nature! My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary and did horse back riding for 1:30min and the experience was amazing! All horses look well taken care of and establishment is amazing. Beautiful ranch. The scenery they take you on is beautiful and peaceful. It really does charge your inner battery. Tour guides were amazing and so knowledgeable. They take you at the pace you most comfortable with. I forgot the names of the different speeds you can take your horse but we did the basic and the medium speed at some point. Horses are powerful animal so it's a definite workout. Overall the whole experience it's 100 % recommended! Such a sweet farm.

My kids and I loved it. We did the 1.5 hr trail ride. A lot of it is in the shade. We enjoyed looking at all the local foliage. It was a memorable experience. Thank you

we did the 1.5 hr trail ride with our guide Cat and had an amazing experience

I've always wanted to ride a horse and my partner surprised me for our anniversary. She got the 1.5 hour pack and the price was reasonable. The check in process was brief so it wasn't a hassle and we started right on time. The intro is pretty basic and I like that the guide is with you throughout the whole ride. It was a pretty easy going experience, although part of the scenic views includes passing by a park with a pavilion (thought that was pretty random lol). But our guide Levi was really nice and made sure we were comfortable at all times. We even got to "trot" with the horse for a little bit so it picked up in speed for a small portion of the ride. Overall, I would recommend this business for anyone looking to go horse riding in the Davie area

I was first time today at the ranch. It was fantastic experience, I had trial ride with Anna and my horse was Daisy, OMG, it was one of the best days. I already scheduled for next week Thank you Bar-B-Ranch

I called and made an appointment for my daughter to ride a pony for her 6th birthday. The owner was very kind and accommodating and I was able to lead the pony around the property for an hour with my daughter riding. It was very affordable with great customer service which is getting very hard to find these days. We hope to be back soon!

I feel so thankful to have grown up here! Whether you're looking for a one time trail ride experience, or to start your children off with a new hobby at a weekly day camp, I cannot recommend Bar B Ranch highly enough. So much love for the Hurly family and everything they stand for in the south Florida the equestrian community!

The staff at Bar B Ranch are AMAZING, everyone makes you feel welcome & they treat the horses with much love and careIt is truly my favorite place to go. Thanks to CJ I went from being a beginner to now going 1-2 times a week because of how amazing my experience is every single time I go. I am constantly learning something new and exciting with her. Going on a trail ride at Bar B Ranch was such a fun and different experience than all the other trail ride that I've done. The trail ride twisted and turned through untouched woods, to open fields and in between farms. It was soo beautiful!!! We had the opportunity to walk, trot and canter which was nice for the more experienced riders. Before we sat on our horses the owner explained different techniques on how to handle the horse. What was interesting was he explained that the horses like to "horse around" by biting or kicking each other. This was definitely different for me. But he explained what to do to prevent that and how to stop it. While on the trail some horses did horse around but most of the time the riders didn't weren't paying attention. I would recommend the trail ride for someone who has ridden at least once before, but overall it was a wonderful experience.

I would highly recommend them. They choose the trails depending on the weather and they took us on a trail that felt like we were in the jungle. It was so cool, I would book them a 100 more times!!

When I arrived around 12ish, they greeted me and were preparing the horses. Andre was on another ride, so I waited until he was finished. A lot of horses were saddled up and I noticed there was another group that was joining the ride. It was a group of 6! Thus, I knew this was going to be a slower paced ride. We did get a nice ride on the trails, and the majority were shaded. We did see some cows and donkeys too. It was a full two hour ride. We did get to trot a little, but there was no opportunity to lope or canter due to the large group. While Andre and Andrea looked to be nice people, and the ride was fine, the reason for the two stars is the treatment of the horses. The horse I rode looked pretty under weight. It seemed that many others too looked skinny. That is sad as last year, my horse looked ok. Also, it looked like the horses didn't have a break in between rides, so they might be overworked. This was noticed by my horse friends, as well as the other group. They were purposely not following Andre's instructions to not have the horses eat during the ride. They were also asking how much longer before the ride ends, and questioning whether the horses were going to be ridden on the next ride afterwards. While I do like Andre and Andrea, it is the welfare of the horses that have the highest priority. If they are not treated well, they shouldn't be ridden. The high reviews from others are from customers who had great rides like me, but may not have noticed the conditions of the horses, or the horses were treated better previously. I beg Andre and Andrea to please make sure the well being of the horses are the first priority, especially for 65 per hour on a group ride.

All I know is I felt like I was at my cousin's house and they happened to have animals. There were no directions or explanations...until it came time to pay. Now that part was explained perfectly. Honestly, I probably could have seen the same thing at my local shelter and saved $30. I'm hoping the money goes toward helping the animals, but it's really hard to tell. They have goats, plenty of birds, llamas, pigs, and horses. I wouldn't call it a true petting zoo because most of the petting is done through a gate. If you want a horse ride, you have to ask. No one offers or tells you about it. Everything looked like it could use some updating or repairs, and the overall vibe from most of the staff was, "Please hurry up so we can get back to what we were doing." A couple of employees were pleasant and helpful, but they weren't going above and beyond. They simply gave us what we asked for. Overall, I probably won't be back. At least my $30 went toward helping the animals...I hope.
