Flippos in Fort Lauderdale is my new fave kids' indoor playground and party place! We recently celebrated my grandson's 8th birthday and it was amazing for the kids, teens, and us adults. Although smaller than other similar venues, they are big enough with fun areas that include a rope course and a toddler area. As far as the party food they prepared, it was great--with cold veggies for dipping, fruit, sandwiches and other finger foods! I absolutely loved their grilled chicken and the way they served the fruit. They also have a café where I would go for lunch any day of the week, if I lived closer! I hope my photos do a bit of justice to the incredible staff here--especially the young lady who planned and served us so well! We had a super day! Took my son here a few months ago and he had so much fun, he really enjoyed himself. We came here one early weekend morning to get out of the house with our 17 month old. The toddler section is pretty small compared to the rest of the space and other similar businesses. While the staff was nice at check-in, the reason for the low rating is the lack of cleanliness. While I was seated watching my son I leaned back to look out of the windows and noticed food wrappers in the area. Then, as I went to one of the playhouses, I found a half eaten slice of pizza and used wristbands. Since we were there when they opened my guess is this was stuff not picked up from the previous day. While this place looks to be decent for older kids, I'd pass on coming back to this for our toddler. read more

Excellent place for toddlers! Very clean and the staff is so nice. We truly enjoyed coming here ans highly recommend it!

My kids loved this location. It had plenty to do for my 5 year olds. The only thing I didn't like were the prices of the arcade, it was pretty expensive considering it was $5 for $100 credits, but most of the games were 30-50 credits so I had to keep spending just for my kids to play. I went to my granddaughter's fourth birthday party here in mid August. The facilities were well kept, the food was very good and the little ones had a blast at the play room. We were in a great banquet room , actually two together. There was another party there as well. The adults had a selection of whole fruits expertly cut to individual portions. So many issues with this place but unfortunately one of the only indoor things to do in Fort Lauderdale when it rains . Unfriendly staff every single time. Majority of the games are broken but they have you buy a game card anyway that can be used on 4 games . There is no time limit on the rock climbing wall so your kid could be waiting 45 minutes in line for kids to get off . Some of the toys in the toddler area have been there for over 4 1/2 years and are absolutely disgusting . Laser tag NEVER works and nobody will help assist you with it . And the funny thing is that they keep raising their prices and putting zero money back into it . Icing on the cake was taking my toddler to redeem his tickets for a tiny prize just to be told the system was down and they couldn't even give him a 3 year old tiny laffy taffy even though I spent $50 in the 45 minutes we were there . read more

Second time coming here with 15 month old for toddler play. It's so sad because it could be such a cool place to come. I know parents can be limited to the options to bring little toddlers for playtime but I think we are going to opt out of this option. The toys are filthy and old. It's a very small area and it gets packed with big kids (much older than 3) little kids and parents. Parents sit and are on their phones most of the time. Most kids aren't supervised and the parents think this is time to dump the kids so they can be on their phone. Not one parent gets up to put Thing back to it's place. I have never seen one employee pass by the play area to make sure everyone is following "rules" and make sure there aren't big kids in there. I mean last time there was a like 5 year old kid alone locked in crying for over 15 mins cause no one could find the parent and she was with her abuela - who was on her phone in cafe area and was clueless. I had to search and ask do you have a kid here before she was like siiiiii porque???? Wow. Then parents walk out and little kids run out after them and no one is paying attention that the little toddlers escape and then they figure it out when they look up and see kid is gone. Kids are eating Cheetos and spilling drinks and garbage always all over or in the little old kitchen - Just disappointing. The security and safety practices are a fail for sure and the hygiene a fail for sure. Sad because the staff in front is very friendly and it would be so cool if it just had the TLC it needs that why I gave it two stars. Management - you can do better. Get with the program and implement dome rules and cleaning. read more

Took our kiddos here for the first time and it's good for maybe a one time visit. The place is very small and in my opinion a bit over priced for the amount of activities to do. There is a ropes course, rock climbing wall, Lazer game, and a few slides. Half of the facility is for 3 and under. Perhaps it would have been a better experience of my children were younger. They advertise that they are suited for children up to 13 but I would not agree with this statement. I think if the price were less we might go again. read more

Solid 4 stars. $20 admission is a little steep but you get what you pay for. It's clean and well organized. It's half price after 6 or 630pm (call to confirm). There is a food area with tables adjacent to the play area entrance where the parents can hang out and watch their kids. They provide free wifi but it was a little choppy for me. I like how there is one entrance area to the play structures. I prefer to sit right in front of it just to be safe. The staff was nice and they have a separate area for kids under 3. This place is really great! When your kids really want to go play at the park, and it's either raining or it's just way too hot outside, this is definitely a go to spot! The prices vary by ages and they're pretty decent. The best part is that the adults are free!! They have rock climbing, a laser room, 4 to 5 slides you have to climb up to get to, a small full court kids basket ball area, some air tube guns to shoot foam balls at each other, a 3 year old and younger play area, some arcades and a food area with tables and seats. I've only ever tried the popcorn here so I can't say much about the food. My only complaint would be the man that works at the food station, I have to say he's kind of rude. He definitely needs a refresher class on customer service. read more

This Flippos location has a larger arcade portion than the Sunrise Flippos but I do prefer the "indoor playground" portion in the sunrise. For arcade games this location is a lot better and their toddler area is larger. read more

They've taken what used to be a fun clean place and turned it into a mess. We just paid $51 for our three grandchildren to use the slides? Virtually nothing to do unless you want to spend another fortune on the games that have taken over (pic attached). I'm attaching a picture of the extreme dust too! Don't waste your time or money. I wanted to like this place so much especially since it's marketed as a safe place for babies. After a brief research on their website that said this place was a safe place for little ones, I followed up by phone to confirm if this place is indeed appropriate for 13 month old baby. I was assured by their staff that they had a gated play area for 3 years and below. Although they do have a gated area for age 3 and below, there is absolutely no control and management from the staff. Kids age 5 and above are easily able to enter and rough house inside (throwing toys at each other). My daughter almost got stepped on by a kid that is at least 90 lbs. Needless to say we left after 10 mins. No information is always better than wrong information. Also, you have to sign a waiver that flippos is not responsible for any injuries that occur on premise. I didn't think much of it until after. If you have little ones younger than 5 years of age, this place is not safe. read more

We visited last Saturday and I had an expired Groupon but the manager Alima was rude and would not take it. Staff should know that Groupons are still worth value the customer paid, not promotional value. I have already contacted Groupon and got a refund. Staff needs to be better trained on promotions. I wanted to send this message on a regular email but I didn't see one on your site. I visited your facility in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, January 13th, 2019 for my son birthday. When entering the facility to play the attendant by the name of Lita gave my husband an attitude due to him walking inside and trying to guide our children inside the play area. As you didn't read the directions. Secondly as time go by I had an encounter with her she gave my son who Birthday that day an attitude doing the rock climbing and I felt very uncomfortable and just told him let's get off. She was not happy the whole time I was there and did no want to work. Which is not good when you're working around nothing but children. But besides that the cafe area was nice and the gentlemen Robert was sweet and the cashier. My son had a great due to those two incidents. Deeply disappointed... just drove from Hallandale ( where we have ours) just to go to a different place and see different things.. arrived at 625pm NOBODY mentioned that they where about to close (I am use to hallandale schedule till 9pm)... sign the waiver(5min) and pay 17.99 for about 25 minutes of play... As they were playing I noticed a lot of places that have been neglected and were warn down, the area where you were suppose to shoot foam balls did not work correctly and only 2 out of 8 shooters worked. Awesome place to kill some time before our flight home with the kids. We checked in to get the discount and ended up paying under $15 for 3 kids (9, 7, 4 years old). Since it was a school day the place was pretty empty but all of the attractions were open. The kids loved the rope course and the climbing wall. We also grabbed a quick snack at the cafe and the prices were very reasonable. Make sure you bring socks, for you and the kids. The Pros: Clean facility (including restrooms), easy parking, variety of food/concessions options, open past 7PM. The Cons: The seating for parents/adults has much to be desired!!!! Unfortunately, grownups are relegated to squatting on wooden cubby shelves that aren't even 1 foot off of the ground, forget lumbar support or cushioning. God forbid there not be any sitting spaces left and you have to stand there awkwardly trying not to feel like pervert staring blankly at other people's kids frolicking about... Half of the play area is for toddlers 3 and under, and there are height restrictions on what's probably one of the coolest attractions here--an American Ninja Warrior Junior-like obstacle course. I signed my son up for Spring Break Camp at Flippo's Fort Lauderdale location. It was $350 for the week. He was supposed to go March 25-29th. I'm a single mom and I work so I needed my son to have a fun place to be. I get a text message and email at almost 11pm on March 24th stating that camp was canceled for the day for unforeseen circumstances. Then I get another email stating that I was refunded the full amount but it can take up to 10 business days to reflect on my account. I called to see what was going on and I was told they canceled the camp because not enough people signed up. Now here it is March 25 and all camps are fully booked. We sometimes visit this location after school or on the weekends and I was possibly thinking of having birthday party there. But now I won't be spending my money there anymore. I wouldn't recommend, I didn't realize how unorganized and unprofessional they are. read more
