    Axe throwing area

This was so much fun!!! It was my first time and my boyfriend suggested it. We got there a little late (we made a reservation) and they were cool about it. We were assigned our own area, each area is screened off for safety reasons. We had a quick lesson which was super helpful. There are different games you can play, which makes it even more fun. You use a mouse to keep score electronically. We played for 1 hr. 10 minutes and that was more than enough. You can bring in your own drinks, including alcohol.

I visited on a Friday night (March 10th). I had a great time and it wasn't busy. You get a full hour to play and can switch between four different games. The staff was friendly and very attentive.

Awesome place, good atmosphere, and friendly staff. Plus, you can bring your own alcohol and food at no extra cost.

Visit: first The staff is so nice! Great spot for date night- it is small so I would suggest for small groups, BYOD and eat prior. Its cold so bring a jacket. I suggest to go early or book in advanced' if u wanna make a night of it than do an early reservation for this and the escape room next door because they both fill up FAST. Tips: bring drinks, reserve, comfortable clothes and have fun!

What a blast! Our instructor was very nice and showed us how to throw correctly. Beat my date 3 out of 4 games! Will come back again.

What a fun time we had! We booked a reservation online and picked the lane that we wanted to be in. On the day of our reservation, they ask that you arrive 15 min early so that they can "train" you on how to throw an axe. After they go through their training, they let you throw the axe and give you feedback on how you did and, if needed, how you can improve. After everyone has thrown their practice axe, the time starts ticking. Our time slot was for an hour which was enough time for 5 people. I think there were 3 different types of games you can play (Bullseye, Monopoly & can't remember what the other one was). We all agreed that we liked the Bullseye game the best. I don't have the best aim so I was surprised that I won 2 out of 3 games and even got a Bullseye! The Monopoly and the other game was more of a skilled game where you had to knock out each square. If you happen to hit a square that someone else already hit, it's considered a "miss" and you've lost your turn. My oldest had a great time and said that she wanted to do it for another hour. We vetoed that idea as I'm sure that my husband and my back/shoulder will be sore tomorrow, lol.

Recently ax throwing has been all the craze. At first, I was a little nervous because...well it's ax throwing! In either case, I recently agreed to join my friends in the festivities. We made reservations online and followed up with a call to the venue to secure (2) lanes side by side (since we were a larger group)--and they were able to accommodate us with that request. The two lanes we had reserved were recently updated with a program that was sort of like a hologram on the board. We could select from different options/games to play and in our 1.5-hour time slot we were able to get a few rounds of a couple of different games. Some important things to know before attending ax-throwing is that you will have to wear closed-toe shoes, it is recommended to book online to secure your spot(s), once you arrive you will have to fill out and sign a waiver (you can do this through your smartphone with the QR code reader they give you and will take less than (2) minutes), you will have to undergo "training" so I suggest arriving a few minutes before your time slot officially begins because it will cut into your time. Other cool tips are that you can bring beer and/or wine as well as light bites/snacks to munch on while there--just no liquor. We had a great time and I look forward to going back!

The most fun I've had in a long time! And to think it was all very spontaneous (so unlike me). I threw out this idea to Francisco V. randomly, and to my surprise, he agreed. That's essentially how we ended up throwing axes. When we showed up, we were the only ones there. I believe it was the owner who gave us the safety tutorial. The safety tutorial consists of showing you how to throw and knowing how to pick the right axe. Apparently there are different-sized ones. When you're in the axe-throwing lane, the bullseye is bright and clickable. There is a mouse you can use to change games and/or keep score. Honestly I think this is one of those things that you have to try at least once. That, and if you're angry, this is admittedly good stress relief. Prices depend on how long you want to throw axes for. We did half an hour and that seemed to work well. We both managed to hit the bullseye. I had been wanting to do this for ages and I'm so happy I finally did it. I think this is a great idea for a group of friends, a date, or even to do solo.

This was my first time axe throwing and it was a great experience! I was on the fence about going as I was worried it might not be very fun with a group, especially if it required more skill than some of the people in our group possessed.... but it was awesome!!! We got there first thing on a Saturday morning and we had the place to ourselves for most of the time we were there. The staff was super friendly and very helpful when we were first getting going. After about 15 minutes, everyone in the group was consistently getting their axes to stick. Overall it was an excellent experience that I highly recommend if you're looking for a fun date night. Some advice though, if you're a smaller person, I would advise asking for an "end grain target" it was definitely easier to stick the axe in an end grain target over the regular one. Our group found those targets more fun. Especially with the interactive games they had.

This place is super fun ! Plenty of room , cool vibes , clean facility. Pedro was amazing and helped us when we had an issue with our reservation. 10/10 recommend!

Pedro!!! He is the best!! We were a party of 7 and had the best time. Pedro made sure everything was perfect. He felt bad for me and took me from a zero to a hero!!! Highly recommend!! We had so much and will definitely be coming back.

Ducked in today after a delicious and filling meal at nearby Greek Joint Kitchen & Bar and it was a fine time, here's why: * Got there at 3-ish, the in-between time, so now waiting. I don't like to wait to spend my hard-earned dollars. * $20 person for 30-minutes. As a first-timer you don't want to bite of more that 30-minutes as the first-time methinks, as this is a workout * Fun! You pick it up quickly. There was only two of us so we got lots of practice. Peep my bulls-eye selfie. At the tail-end I was one-arming it. * Super-friendly and helpful staff that tactically helped up improve our game with some infrequent coaching that wasn't intrusive. Thank you! They know their stuff. I tipped them! Good times, and fun, and an active and welcome addition to downtown Hollywood area, welcome! Make sure you wear close-toed shoes. Cabeza OUT!

    Double axe handle toss
    Francisco V.

Talk about a fun way to start a date! Tossed around the idea of doing something to blow off steam after work, and after my now girlfriend suggested axe-throwing, I immediately accepted! I'm into anything that can resemble competitive sports, so this was right up my alley. The place is located next to an escape room as well. Maybe a good idea to do both in a row? For the next time. It's a pretty simple concept. You walk in and you pay for your time. We opted to get half an hour each, and since the lanes were empty, we decided to each use our own lane. The staff there set us up, and showed us how to properly throw the axes. In our case, they only showed us how to do the double handed toss, but I remembered how to do the single hand toss from the Ren Fest. It's set up like a video game. You have to manually keep score, but their system makes it easy. We each got a few bulls-eyes after a little practice. Definitely a fun thing to do.

Twin Peaks 1903 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood FL…read more Ok so I don't write a lot of reviews. And I don't write bad reviews. But when I have an exceptional experience, I let it be known. This one is out of the ordinary for me. I believe Twin Peaks is a franchise. A sports bar (I guess). I'm not into sports. I had only been here once a few years ago to watch a UFC fight with a friend. 4 months ago I was on Hollywood Blvd and I was starving. And there are a LOT of excellent restaurants on this street and 1 street over. But that day I just wanted a burger and a drink. I had zero expectations. But this time I paid attention. They have a LOT of excellent mixed drink and beer options here. Mixed drinks, cocktails, shots, etc. And I had a burger (Billionaire's Bacon Burger) that was so good Im now addicted to it . But what REALLY made an impression was the staff. The female staff are attractive. But that's not what I'm writing about. I was very impressed by the fact that they were just... nice. They were attentive, engaging, friendly, but not annoying. Obviously well trained. My servers were Emily, Celina and Q. And the manager working that day was Angel. And then I met another manager named Isa, and a bartender named Mackenzie, who were both amazing. I discreetly wrote down their names because I knew I was gonna write a review. The male staff are all very friendly and professional. I've met a few of them during my visits. So many people take the time to write bad reviews. I managed a large number of employees for 25 years. I always made it a priority to "catch you doing something good". To let an employee know how impressed I was with how they handled something, and to remind them how lucky we were to have him or her on our team. No matter how old you are, positive reinforcement goes a long way when you're working. And it makes it easier to accept constructive criticism when it is received. I now eat and drink at Twin Peaks at least once a week. And I bring friends. And it's because of Emily, Celina, Q, Mackenzie, Angel, Isa, and all of the amazing people who work here...
