Food was great and server super friendly wish there was more parking all in all I would give it a 10

Inside of plowboys BBQ is not very cleaned up at all! They are too busy with other people forgotten about to cleaning the kitchen it's very dirty too! We had to waiting on them up to 35 minutes for our service it's because of their dirty greasy messy dirty inside the fryer they're needed to cleaning it out of it all black ashes all over everything on my foodies grossing me out! read more

I do like the food specifically brisket and homemade Mac and cheese. Never had the delicious taste for a long time and considered it the top choice whatever I'm close by. FYI, never had this food before even I've tried my restaurant around the world. read more

Plowboys BBQ - Brisket with Homemade Mac & Cheese - Barbeque Near Me - Marshall, Missouri

always good for food and service friendly staff meals are reasonable priced fish Fridays are great

The only issue I have with Plowboys is it's too far to visit often from my eastern Missouri home. This time I had the brisket combo, which included a sandwich and a side. The brisket stayed moist throughout the meal and needed no sauce. However, I kept the smoky sweet sauce close for dipping fries. I can't understand how Plowboys produces large fries with impossibly crisp exteriors while cooking perfectly fluffy insides. And, the bigger the fry the better the taste. This is a drive-up/walk-up spot--there's no on-site dining except for a shaded picnic table. read more

We are from out of town, went to a very popular place in KC, and Plowboys blows them out of the water. This place is delicious! The meat is moist and flavorful, the Mac n cheese, potato salad, and beans are amazing! Highly recommend this bbq place. read more

Outstanding pulled pork, tasty potato salad and the special dressing on the turkey wrap was delicious. Great value!

Randy and his BBQ are the BEST. He catered our wedding and it was an immense HIT. still to this day I get compliments and remember what an amazing and delicious meal it was along with excellent service, and we've been married almost three years. (Will be three this October ) thank you Randy. & anyone looking for BBQ in Marshall MO, Y'all should try Plowboys!! They have ordering inside/over the phone But are carry out only and the drive thru. They're working on dine-in still, but since Covid dine-in has not been possible, Randy is always doing his best to ensure the safety of his employees and guests. He's says he wants to bring back dine-in, and hopefully he will be able to in the future. Drive thru is typically my choice, especially when I'm on a quick lunch break from work. Enjoy! read more

Great job and great job on the video and the presentation too and thank you for asking great food and great job for the video presentiony

Love love love this place!! My favorite is the Mac n chz but it's all not so far behind. I never had a bad bite here! It's worth the wait!!

Been there once about 5 years ago. Lousy food! Did they steal the trophy's they have in that display case or did they buy them from some trophy shop? Brisket was lousy and their sides were nothing to brag about either. Have not been back since and will not waste my money again on their BBQ.. People eat there are rave about it must have dead taste buds or have never had really good BBQ. Yuk! read more

On our way home from LOTO we always drive thru Marshall. As it was lunch time we checked out local places and found Plowboys BBQ a few blocks off our route. Food was great. At this time it's carry out or drive thru only. NO Dine In. We ate on the hood of the car. They might want to consider adding a few tables outside for travelers like us. We will be back. read more

Plowboys BBQ - Burnt Ends, Homemade Mac & Cheese and Creamy Family Recipe Cole Slaw - Barbeque Near Me - Marshall, Missouri

The food is usually good, however they always forget something in my order when I eat there. Some of the employees aren't very kind.

This is an absolute favorite! Always great good with great pricing! I've always had nothing but great and positive service here!

This is a great place! If you like smoke on your bbq this is the place for you. Everything is fresh and homemade. The staff were so friendly and the food was great. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich and macaroni and cheese and by boyfriend got the smoked burger and baked beans. We also has a homemade lemonade, which was excellent. It is mildly sweet and lemony, just the way I like it. I have to say the Mac and cheese was a close first to my favorite! Plow boys is more for take out orders or drive thru, but we came on a Cool day and sat ate one of two picnic benches. It is a definite go to if you are coming through marshall! read more

I was in town bringing my son back to school to start his senior year and we stopped past Plowboys. I am so glad that we did! We met Randy, the owner and he was awesome as we chopped it up about food. We ordered the burnt ends sandwich with Mac and cheese, chicken slider sandwich with baked beans, pulled chicken sandwich and a brisket sandwich both with fries. Every piece was consumed and it was OH SO GOOD. The burnt ends and brisket were so tender and the chicken was excellent. The baked beans were sweet and barbecue all together it was just a great flavor. The staff were extremely friendly and displayed tremendous customer service. My only disappointment was that I stopped by on Saturday and wish that I would have gone Thursday and Friday as well. It was just that good! Keep serving the great food Randy and team!!!! 5 stars for me!!! read more

Visited some family in Marshall. Many good places we ate in the area, but hands down the best was Plowboys BBQ on Clay street! We absolutely loved it! Even swung back by before we left town. Staff was very friendly & patient. The area was nice. In a neighborhood w/ tables to sit at. Was a hot one outside but a great stop. Will be back. read more

having tried Plowboys in Blue Springs a couple years ago I decided to make the 30 mile drive from my home to break the quarantine monotony on my birthday to try Plowboys Marshall. Well the worth the drive! Pulled pork sandwich & fries were very good, took a slab, burnt ends and beans home for later in the day. Ribs were fall off the bone delicious, comparable to any I've had elsewhere, burnt ends passed muster and beans had just the right touch of sweetness. Anxious to try their other menu items. read more
