With a few exceptions, the employees are all knowledgeable and welcoming. There are two downsides to shopping here. The prices are a bit higher than their competitors and they have somewhat limited hours of operation, closing early and only open 12-5 on Sunday. But overall it's a nice local store.

The store is usually well stocked but due to pandemic, the inventory is on the sparse side. They had a large table and corner area with a 50% off sale going on. I'll be back in a few weeks as I'm hoping their summer outdoor dinnerware will go on sale. The light weight, colorful Melamine plates are perfect for outdoor dining. The last time I visited, the service was so slow. Unbearably slow. The woman wrapping my two dishes took painfully long. It was also the very first time I entered and was not greeted or asked if I needed assistance. Typically this doesn't bother me but this day I was in a hurry, did have a particular item I came to buy, but couldn't find assistance. There were several people working and were engaged in their own conversation. slow! One experience doesn't define a store so I'll be back when in the area. I had to chase her down to place an order, she seemed very un-motivated to sell lights. I paid for the lights, in full, and left. I didn't hear back from them for a month, so I decided to walk in there and see what was going on. I spoke to the front desk person. I explained that I hadn't heard back from them regarding my lights. She looked puzzled, then started rooting around on her cluttered desk, and said "oh, there is is!", and picked up a package, which had been sitting there for god knows how long. I explained that I paid for 3 lights. She looked disinterested, and told me she would call the supplier the next day and give me a call. Another month past, no phone call, so again I decided to go to the store. The same front desk person was there, and she looked up my order, one of the lights she said had been discontinued, and the other she wasn't sure why it hadn't been shipped. She promised to call them the next day. Another month past, and I returned. She hadn't done anything with my order, so I requested, and was given, a refund. 3 months wasted. Zero effort made to fulfill and order that I had paid for. AVOID!!

Miguel quickly helped me narrow down nine samples down to five. They encouraged me to go home, and use the sample pieces in my kitchen first then to come back and grab the actual paint samples. I quickly came back to the store an hour later with three choices to order sample cans of. They again were very helpful, answered my questions and made it a positive experience for myself and my twelve year old son. Cameron made extra conversation with him and entertained my child's wishlist items to purchase. A great overall experience visiting this location with Cameron and Miguel.

Came here for a pressure-treated facia board and wasn't too happy with the customer service…read more Came into the store and the gentleman at the register did not seem overly pleased to be interacting with anyone. he gave me my ticket for the Callin order I had and didn't say a word I had to ask where am I supposed to go for it and he told me just go to the warehouse. Upon arriving at the warehouse, there wasn't any sign saying where to stop or anything. The gentleman came up, took my ticket and told me to go park in the shade. I immediately rolled up to which was pretty large. After Hanh came up and said I told you to go to the shade and pointed forward in which there was multiple shaded spots. I pulled up to the large shade spot, the driveway off to the side, which seemed like a good loading spot. Apparently that wasn't the shaded spot he was talking about. He referred to a spot right next to the shelf. When I came out of the car, the gentleman looked annoyed being like I told you to go to the shaded spot and I replied there's like five shaded spots you need to be more specific and he just walked away. I took my fabulous but dear old Miele vacuum to these folks, who fixed it in a day! I took in my…read moreparts-- only because I thought when I you-tubed the vacuum fix--I could do it myself (in reality I didn't want to break the plastic pieces and have more to fix). They were kind, gracious and told me they would fix it and use my factory Miele parts that I brought-- even though they would have gotten them for me at the same price or less. The man who checked my vacuum in was one of the owners. I told him I was really happy to come out there because I didn't want to go to my local go to store. My sister went to Starks with hers in the same condition--and they told her that she needed to replace her vacuum, it'd be more to fix than it would be to replace. Granted, she didn't have the hepa model like I did, I don't think. But, It was the same basic issue as far as what she told me. I was skeptical because Miele is such a GOOD product. I spend $49 at Aloha Vacuum for their time and efforts and $58 or so for factory parts. A little gas and time-- and my hepa Miele is good as new. Believe me, this isn't just a throw away machine! Thank you to Aloha Sewing and Vacuum for helping us out with our precious vacuum!
