Recently, while parked, another driver took a turn too sharply and struck the rear corner of my…read more2024 Toyota Tacoma, shattering the taillight and damaging the bumper. The at-fault party wanted to handle the repairs outside of insurance, and honestly, this turned out to be one of the smoothest and most hassle-free auto collision experiences I've ever had. I called to schedule an estimate and was greeted warmly by the receptionist upon arrival. My appraiser, Erika, met me right away. I pointed out the damaged areas, and she quickly inspected the truck, taking notes for a few minutes before stepping back inside. About five minutes later, she returned with a clear, detailed estimate. Since I was paying out of pocket (self-pay), I needed to cover a deposit--essentially the cost of the parts--before they could order them. Erika explained that once the parts arrived, I could drop the truck off, and the repair would take about four days. A few days later, I called to make the deposit over the phone using Zelle to avoid the credit card surcharge. The next day, Erika followed up to confirm the parts were ordered and expected to arrive by Friday or, at the latest, the following Monday. We scheduled the drop-off for that Monday, and true to their word, I had the truck back by Friday--fully repaired and looking great. Throughout the entire process, Erika kept me updated with a quick status call every few days, which made everything feel organized and stress-free. This was at one of only two Toyota Certified Collision Centers in the area, and the difference really showed. Professional, efficient, and communicative from start to finish--I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing bodywork on their Toyota.

After getting a few quotes, I decided to go with Oscar. They got me in quickly, finished the work faster than I expected, and the quality is outstanding. So backstory: Some old guy wrecked the back of my Tesla in a rear-end, lied to insurance and so they would not cover the repair. When Tesla gave me the quote to fix my car, I damn near passed out. How much?? Listen it was crickets all around because insurance was dragging their feet and who had that kinda money?! I did, but damn sure not blow it on fixing the bumper of my car. A friend recommended doing a Google search, highlighting that we've come a long way from Tesla shops being a rarity and I might get lucky finding a shop who could responsibly take care of my car. So down the rabbit hole I went....I found Fresh Paint Auto Body, they were close to home and responded quickly in answering all my questions. Oscar requested pictures, gave me an HONEST review of what he could do and invited me to drop in. He fixed my car in about a week, kept in constant contact during the process and even got my car washed when the job was done, my baby looks sooo purrtyyyy and I couldn't more happy with the job he did. Not only did he do a good job, he was honest and I highlight that because I wanted to get my car wrapped, he quoted me a price and I told him someone quoted me way cheaper. Instead of deterring me or poking holes in the other quote you know what he did.....he sat down with me, looked at the photos of the competitor and said it looks good, he gave me the right questions to asked and encouraged me to go with the other person to save money, reaffirming that it looks like they do a decent job as well! Who does that?!? An honest person that's who! The thing is once I picked up my car, I truly didn't want to get my car wrapped anywhere else! Even though it would cost me a bit more, I appreciate this team so much I'll never take my car anywhere else and you shouldn't either!

My vehicle has been there since February, and throughout that time, communication was consistently lacking. I never received a single proactive update and had to repeatedly follow up just to get basic information on the status of my car. What's most frustrating is that after being told the vehicle was complete and ready for pickup, I arrived to find that the work was still not fully finished. The vehicle had to be taken back in to address items that should have been completed the first time. For a repair process that took this long since February and it is now May, a much higher level of communication, attention to detail, and overall professionalism should be expected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.
