    Gyro all-the-way.

Love Greek gyros so was thrilled to discover this place in the Houston Northcutt shopping center near Harris Teeter. Delicious gyros. Easy takeout. Fast, friendly service. Neat little place also serves there.

Great Greek menu with lots of fresh and reasonable options- both in portion size and pricing. I actually don't have to figure out who will split something with me here! Both the lemonade and cucumber juice are fresh drink choices. The small sides of dips are under $2. The gyro can be made vegetarian, chicken, or lamb and all come expertly wrapped (in a manner you can eat ii to not wear it!). The baklava was tasty but could have used some honey on the dry top- we just ripped it off and enjoyed the bottom. Don't sleep on the $2 side of carrots/celery as a healthy dipping option.

Excellent Greek in a small setting. Fresh cheese, meats and veggies. Well priced also. I will revisit.

However, the chicken was dry, and the Taziki sauce was runny and not very flavorful at all, so needless to say, I will not be returning. The salad was good and service ok.

When Adam's Kitchen showed up as a spot with Mediterranean offerings we decided to check it out. We got there just before their closing time and were prepared to order our food as takeout, but the people were friendly and welcoming and encouraged us to stay. We were too hungry to argue, and wow, did it turn out to be a lovely experience. The food was prepared fresh, came out quickly, and served with care and a friendly smile. My lamb gyro was perfect - served on warm, puffy pita with fresh veggies and a generous drizzle of tzatziki. My partner's chicken shawarma sandwich was equally tasty, but the crowning glory was the house-made baklava that was subtly enhanced with orange flower essence that elevated it to something truly special. We're here to visit the Charleston area for just a short time with so many things to do, but we're definitely making time to head back to Adam's kitchen before we leave for a stash of their to-die-for baklava, Dubai chocolate, and whatever other of their homemade treats strike our fancy. If you're in the Mt. Pleasant area and have a hankering for excellent Mediterranean food prepared and served up fresh by friendly people in a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere, you won't regret checking out this little gem of a restaurant!

We had such a fun date night at Stella's downtown. I made us a reservation for a Saturday night at…read morethe bar, which we really enjoyed. We were surprised when we walked in and the bar was actually low, with low, spinny bar seats. But it actually was pretty unique and fun! Our server was excellent and gave us great recommendations. We started with the Stella's Kalamari that had sun-dried tomatoes, capers, and artichoke hearts. It was very flavorful and delicious. Something to keep in mind here is that the portions are pretty large. Perfect for splitting dishes and a lot of food for your buck. The stand out dish for me was the spanakopita. It's a flaky, crispy pastry with spinach and feta inside that you dip in tzatziki. What's not to love about all of that?? We splurged a bit on our entree and split the braised lamb shank. The lamb itself was pretty good, but what I enjoyed most was the pasta it comes with. I would maybe suggest trying a different entree. It wasn't my favorite, but it was good. For drinks I got the Cretan, which had cucumber infused gin, lime, rosemary and thyme. It was so refreshing and just what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back here and recommending it to others!

My husband made my birthday dreams come true by reserving a table at Stella's. We are from…read moreRichmond, VA and are avid fans of the original location. Having one here is amazing. We started off with cocktails and ordered the octopus and mushroom saganaki to start. Both dishes were flavorful and tasty. I ordered the pikilia platter for my entree. Everything was good but the souvlaki was too heavy on the salt. My husband was going to get a steak. Our server, Katrina, told him that there was no steak special that evening but the chef had a pork chop taking its place as a nightly feature. He thought the description sounded good so he ordered it. He was very happy with his meal. When the bill came, he said "good thing I liked that pork chop. It was $50!" In the restaurants defense, he should have asked for the price before he ordered. We just never in our wildest dreams imagined a pork chop entree would come out to $50. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. It isn't really fair to compare this to the Richmond location. In all honesty, if this was my first Stella's meal and I had nothing to compare it to it would be an easy 5 stars. We will no doubt return but will ask how much the special is in the future.
