Lamb lunch special over rice with salad
    Daniela Z.

I always walk by this place and finally tried it today! Can't beat their $13 lunch special with your choice of chicken or lamb over rice and salad! It was really good, as was the hummus and baba ghanoush. I only wish the pita bread was homemade!

Felt like Greek today. Being from NYC you can get great Gyros in every borough. Downsides: The platter didn't come with any sauce. Though I clearly said no onions there they were on top. Fries were tiny little things Falafel were a Little too well cooked! Upsides The meat was terrific!! So yummy and as salty as could be The rice was tasty The salad was fresh and crunchy So would I recommend? Yes Would I order again? Yes

This used to be a favorite place of mine, but unfortunately I'm not coming back. The owner runs out of cups for drinks, and now tries to charge customers extra for bottled drinks. And surprise surprise, blames inflation like everyone else. Additionally, the portions keep getting smaller. The mezze platter was almost $20, with only two scoops of the salads. Just be honest and admit you want to make more money.

10/10 every time! The best Gyros in all of Mt.Pleasant (coming from a native). Always such kind people and great service. Has became one of my go-to spots even when it's 30+ minutes away, 100% worth the drive, and would highly recommend!!!

Service was spectacular! I ordered a chicken, lamb gyro & tabbouleh and it was amazing. Authentic Mediterranean food. 10/10 will be back!

An excellent choice for fast casual Mediterranean food. Staples like tabouleh, hummus, labneh, kebbeh and dolma, as well a large variety of kebabs and platters. The grill entrees vary in price from $11.99 to $16.99 for lamb shish kebabs or filet mignon kebabs. Everything is cooked in front of you on the grill. The place is clean and comfortable, with friendly service. The food took a short while to be served but then it's made to order so that's a good thing! There are a few tables outside to enjoy the camaraderie of the Starbucks crowd too! A great casual place with delicious, fresh, authentic food.

A piece of pita delivered in the bag it came from. Lazy and unprofessional.

I honestly HATE giving bad reviews but I just ordered through DoorDash and the order was so bad we threw most of it in the trash. First, the order was wrong. Potato salad was given instead of macaroni salad. Our side of hummus was so salty it was inedible. My side of pita was lazily provided in the bag you guys must buy it in? Photo for reference. At least that tasted good. Lastly and most importantly the gyro sandwiches were so drenched with sauce we threw them out. I've honestly never had food this inedible before and am not picky. I've ordered from Adam's several times and have never had this experience, but I won't order from here ever again.

    Gross conditions.

This place has some potential but the place is disgusting. I was really hoping for this place to be a win for me. The guy making the food could not care less about anything other than his phone. The tables were dirty and floor was a almost 3rd world. In this time of Covid-19 this place does not know what's up. Let's hope they can get it together.

A good place for some delicious Mediterranean food, we had a nice late lunch here. The interior could use a freshening up as there were chairs stacked near the restroom, and the retail shelves looked disheveled and more than half empty. Plus there were dirty tables yet no one else was inside eating. But we wanted something different for lunch so we stayed. The menu has almost everything you would expect from a Greek and/or Mediterranean restaurant. Probably more then they need to try and sell. But for us we had a few hits and one miss: DO ORDER the hummus. It was so delicious, and smooth. It had a great nutty flavor and was just perfect with the soft, warm pita. DON'T order the falafel. Unfortunately it was more than just dry and overcooked. Not sure how they could make this so bad. We did enjoy the gyros, though a little more sauce would have helped. The 2 men we encountered were not the most friendly and sadly were not engaging with us; and we were the only ones inside. One and done for us.

Went for lunch on the recommendation of someone from the Low Country Eats group on Yelp. Shared the lamb platter which was special of the day. Food was fresh and the portion was large (see pic). Very casual seating area inside and out. Service was friendly and lunch was ready in about 3 minutes. A notch above fast food (casual fresh). Will try some of their other dishes and update this review

Adam's is All Around Excellent!!!! Oh my Goodness! This restaurant is Thee Best of its kind! i Am very experienced in Middle Eastern cuisine. i have cousins in Lebanon and best friends from Iran and Turkey. This restaurant far surpasses any Middle Eastern restaurant i have ever encountered. Seriously. Hands Down! Fresh squeezed lemonade with mint: YUM! The falafel here is so delicious. It is green with fresh parsley! My husband enjoyed the shawarma! The ezme is rockin' fresh, hearty, and jUSt absolutely delightful! Every item we ordered was truly fabulous! Everything fresh! Everything DEE-LiSh! On the night we dined, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Cal. We learned from him that the restaurant is named after his son, Adam. The dining area is simple and spotless. The kitchen is visibly clean and sanitized. The bathrooms are equally clean. The location is literally a hop, skip, and a jump away from downtown Charleston... cross the bridge to Mount Pleasant, and there you are! Right next to Harris Teeters. We highly recommend this restaurant!

This time around I was dining with friends, which meant we got to order a whole bunch of dishes - a foodie's dream. We started with the Hunter Cattle Beef Tartare, topped with shoestring potatoes, smoked cheddar, and egg yolk jam. It was rich, flavorful, and while the presentation looked a bit like dog food, it was otherwise the perfect way to kick off the meal. For the table, we also shared the Roasted Carrots, served with chamomile honey, labneh, puffed rice, candied peanuts, and an olive crumble. I know, carrots aren't always a "must-order," but trust me - they were fantastic. We also couldn't pass up the Hearth-Baked Skillet Cornbread with Broadbent bacon crumble mixed throughout. Southern comfort food!!! For my entree, I ordered the Blueberry & Corn Salad, which was anything but an ordinary salad. Between the BBQ pecans, ricotta salata, bacon fat honey mustard, and fresh seasonal ingredients, every bite was packed with flavor. One friend ordered the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo with compressed cantaloupe, marigold, and leche de tigre. It was bright, refreshing, and beautifully plated. Our other friend opted for the South Carolina Golden Tilefish, served with Kindlewood Farms summer squash and serrano, and it, too, was a hit. For drinks, one friend enjoyed a glass of wine while I ordered the Dragoon Punch. I'll admit, I was a little disappointed to learn my beloved Primrose Path was no longer on the menu. I even asked if they could make one, but unfortunately they were missing one of the ingredients. No worries, the Dragoon Punch was delicious and a worthy replacement. Our server, Tal H., was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, informative, and guided us through the ever-changing menu with ease. Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed. Husk continues to be worth the reservation. I'd happily dine here again... and again... and ag

My husband and I went to the restaurant side which is a large, redesigned Victorian style house. We went in as in Walk -Ins but reservations are recommended. The service was fast and the food was phenomenal. The beef tartare was fresh, and easily shareable. Cocktails were brought out fast and both tasted delicious. The scallops and pork chop were some of the best we've had. The only slightly disappointing dish was the corn bread which was on the more dry side, however the collards more than made up for it. The only downside to this restaurant were the flies, I felt like I was battling both large and fruit flies my entire meal. There were so many. We were inside so I'm not sure where they were coming from. Would've been 5 stars had it not been for this.

They were very helpful with my questions concerning my gluten allergy. They were able to confirm what was gluten free but it is also clearly marked on the menu. The food was fresh and amazing. The hummus is homemade. I had chicken Lula and it was really well seasoned and some of the best I've ever tasted. The only downside was the price. It was quite pricy for a lunch but with that being said, I would still return for more of their food. I just wish I could have tried more of it.

The absolute best falafels I have ever had in my life! I love falafel and have have them frequently…read morein restaurants ranging from fine to casual dining. What really separates these falafels is the robust range of spices and complex flavor into the traditional falafel, texture and flavors. The falafel appetizer platter came with four pieces and they were basically gone as soon as they arrived to the table as our entire family ate immediately. Including our pickiest eating family member, who enjoyed theirs too! Exceptional! The halloumi is fantastic and cooked perfectly. It had a nice seasoning on top of it which differentiated it from others I have had before. Everyone at our table enjoyed it. It came with four pieces. The grape leaves were a delight. They had a more robust complex flavor palette than Greek style grape leaves. They were served warm, however they were not dried out like sometimes grape leaves are when they're brought to a table warm. These were beautifully seasoned and had nice moisture to them. The size of each was about that of a ring finger. I can not remember hot many pieces were on the plate but it was more than 4. We ordered the chefs hummus with the pine nuts and pomegranate seeds. It was delicious and a great texture. Pretty much par for the course. My entrée was the Mujadra lentil and rice dish. The flavors were absolutely phenomenal. At first, I was thinking about getting the lentil soup for lunch, but then decided to try under the vegetarian section of the menu the lentil plate. The lentils and rice were placed in a circle mold on the plate. With pretty pieces of salad coming out from four different places. There were pine nuts, chopped, and placed a top of the rice and lentils. Everyone at the table tried my dish and even though we all four have very different favorite flavors and foods everyone agreed it tasted phenomenal and was absolutely delicious. Another family member ordered the lentil soup. They really enjoyed that and they also took some rice off of their spouse's plate and put it in the lentil soup which was a nice pairing. Spouse had the beef kebab cooked, medium rare. The temperature on the kebab for cooking was absolutely perfect! The texture pinkness, and overall cooking was beautifully done to a true medium rare. He had french fries as his side those were just as perfectly cooked as everything else that came out of the kitchen of this restaurant. They were nice and crisp with a good flavor. Three of our four family members tried and agreed they were very nicely done fries crispy all around and not floppy soft. Another family member ordered the Shish Tawook. They were completely in love and smitten with the garlic sauce that came with it. It is divine and tastes beautiful on the chicken. Rice was beautifully cooked as well. The accompaniments of lettuce, pita and oil was delicious. Dessert was baklava. Like every other part of the meal, we had it had a really nice blend of spices and flavor to it. We got it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. All of the desserts on the menu are made in house. One of our family members doesn't tend to like homemade ice cream however she liked this ice cream because she thought the texture was really brilliant for it being made in house at a restaurant. The baklava comes with three pieces. I would love for them to open a restaurant near where we live. If we lived here we would come in 2-3 times a week. Near the end of our meal, we heard some of the restaurant team speaking with another table of regulars. We overheard that they were short staffed that day as someone had called in. We never absolutely would not have guessed that. They seamlessly checked on our table, brought everything out in a timely manner, and none of the plates were hot like they had been sitting at expo waiting to come out to the table for a while. It was wonderful hospitality, with great care and checking in. Our server was a sweet and attentive person. Simply removing plates as we finished and refilling drinks. No one at our table was in want or need of anything as he kept it all well filled. I think the biggest compliment I can give is one family member always has room for dessert. They loved their meal in the appetizer so much they could not have any dessert. Which coming from them a huge dessert person is quite the praise.
