If you want horrible service and a menu that is not reflective of what you will actually get then you should waste your time here! Their menu says there's a side salad with each platter but when I showed up the owner was yelling at me saying "we don't do that"... my only question was why does your website say you do then? Then I was told I could substitute tabbuleh for Greek salad but again when I showed up the owner said that's not possible. I was also told my meal would be ready in 5 minutes for take out but I stood waiting for 25 minutes. Never returning here again, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!! read more

I was nearby donating blood and saw Adam's signage for Mediterranean food. After the donation I decided to give it a try since it was the lunch hour and they offered sidewalk table seating. Wow! This was the BEST lamb gyro sandwich I've had since our moving to Charles Towne last summer from the Detroit area. My family and I were spoiled with exceptional Mediterranean choices in metro Detroit but this sandwich I'd put up against any of those. Overall very happy with this restaurant. We've ordered take out several times and all of the food is very tasty. The chicken shawarma platter is very delicious and the hummus is very good, the steak platter is okay. Make sure to get the salad dressing on the side is you don't like drenched salad. read more

We just stopped in for dinner tonight. It was wonderful! Everything was incredibly authentic and delicious. We shared a 4 appetizer plate. My boys had the lamb gyros. They were HUGE and they said the best they have had here in South Carolina. My husband had the gyro platter. It was also an extra large portion and equally as lovely. I would suggest the lightly fried eggplant. It was fabulous. The pita was fluffy and warm. The whole meal was delicious. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, which means I watched them make it and know it was all freshly prepared. The two gentlemen behind the counter could not have been more kind or courteous. We were so full we had to get dessert to go. I will have to get back to you on flavor. If it is anything like our meal, there is no doubt in my mind that it is awesome. read more

We had a fantastic lunch here. The baba ghanoush and ezme appetizers were delicious and paired together perfectly. My gyro platter was generous and delicious. Just a note, the white sauce which comes on the gyros is not tzatziki. It's delicious but if you want tzatziki, you'll need to order it. My companion had the chicken philly (his 3rd time) so I think that can be highly recommended as well and the French fries he had as his side were so good...hot, skinny, and crispy. read more

Adam's Kitchen has very authentic and good food. I ordered the lamb kabobs and a gyro. The lamb kabobs were not on a stick so I was a bit confused when I opened it at home, but that's just how they serve it. For the price the food was pretty good. I would go back for their lunch specials to get better deals though. read more

Horrible place. First, A restaurant should never tell a customer that they can't customize or switch out a side! The owner came up to me directly to tell me I could not switch out my rice option for something else. Smh. That should've been my first red flag. The icing on the cake was when my food came (which took forever! ) and the lamb shish kabob was way over cooked and was impossible to chew. Next,my green salad had not one but 2 FLIES dead in it! Our lunch was delicious! A chicken gyro and a lamb gyro. We also had the stuffed grape leaves. The owner was so knowledgeable and explained the history of the food and the traditional ways of preparation. We live in Pawleys Island, and while the food here is delicious, the choices are only Lowcountry and Italian. We would love to see more diversity in our dining choices. Good is simple and flavorful. Owner was friendly enough. I had several lamb and chicken small pitas. You feel like you are in a middle eastern country eating there with the music and foreign accents. I'll give it a 3 because the food was good. I had hummus and falafel, both tasty. What wasn't good was the cleanliness and lack of health concern for the customers. Food is left sitting out on a table not far from where every customer pays. It wasn't covered. Surely there is a better place for food storage. It was 11:20 when I arrived, not like it a lunch rush had already occurred. The restaurant did not appear to be very clean. There was no iced tea, as the employee said it hadn't been made yet. Shouldn't cleaning and food prep be done prior to opening? Neither of the 2 employees had on a mask as required by Mount Pleasant regulations. Excuse #1: "If you go to the gym across the street, they don't have masks on either". I don't care what they are doing at the gym. This is a restaurant, and you are required to have a mask on. Excuse #2: "I just took my mask off because I was coming up to the cash register." Obviously they don't understand the point of wearing a mask in the first place. I ordered a gyros platter for carry out. When I went in to pick it up, the young man behind the register was masked and professional. Unfortunately, the man who was preparing and handling food was not masked at any point as I waited. I was able to take my food home and reheat it, but you can't reheat salad, hummus, or tzatziki sauce, so I ended up throwing a lot of food away, all because the food preparer was not following appropriate COVID protocol.
