They have baklava! & even better, they have baklava cheesecake! It's a piece of baklava on top of a piece of cheesecake. It's so good! You gotta try it! So the atmosphere - it's walk in, order at the counter, sit with your number at a table, then they bring you your food. You get your own drink at the soda fountain. So you don't have a server, but you don't really need one. There's also a patio outside for people to sit and eat too. There's a good bit of seating out there. Quite a few two people table inside too, with a few bigger tables as well. Overall, I really enjoyed both times coming here. I will definitely be back. I wish it was closer to home. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, authentic and flavorful, and it's one of those places where you can eat a big meal and still feel like you ate something healthy. And I have to specifically mention the tzatziki. My wife and I have traveled throughout Greece and visited several of the Greek islands, so we've had the real thing plenty of times. It can actually be surprisingly difficult to find tzatziki back home that tastes the way it does in Greece. Kairo's absolutely nails it. It's fresh, creamy, authentic and delicious. They've had many of the same people working here for years, which says a lot by itself. This guy is AWESOME. He knows us by name, remembers what we order and takes care of us every single time we walk through the door. That kind of personal service is becoming harder and harder to find. One of our family members doesn't tend to like homemade ice cream however she liked this ice cream because she thought the texture was really brilliant for it being made in house at a restaurant.
