Cafe was extremely clean, and the owners were very welcoming. It was nice to find a place that was healthy and made every meal per order. I had large group order and everything was ready in less than 20 minutes. Definitely recommend the smoothies.

The hubby & I were in town for the car racing event - and he has family here (2 coconuts 1 stone type deal LOL) anyways! Stopped by here on our way out and omg! If you are lookin for great prices AND great food in Miami... this is the place for you ! Nestled along a commercial building you will find this fine establishment- parking is available outside but we just ordered from our hotel and quickly went in to pick it up The juices are premade in a fridge - the hubby almost didn't get one bc of the separation but I had to explain to him that's a GOOD thing - no yucky ingredients in there holding the emulsions together - I explained to him you simply have to mix it yourself - still, he insisted we share one, smh ... what a mistake because he ended up drinking 90% of it !! The food tasted homemade and the owner or worker was incredibly kind

Though everything was perfect, it was a little overpriced for the amount of food you're served. Good customer service, quick to offer tips of what to eat. There's plenty of seating and a big tv screen on the sports channel. I had a breakfast wrap with scrambled egg, turkey and Swiss cheese ($7) along with a cold coffee ($4). Metered parking along the street. Will maybe come back in a bind.

Manuel our server accommodated us pretty well. We had a promotion that came from Yelp and for a second they weren't about to acknowledge it but it was more so due to the fact that Manuel didn't know of it. Outside of that the service was really good and the food was actually pretty solid I will say the price is a little high for the portions but the food was definitely quality very fresh and a decent amount of flavor. I live close to the spot for like more than 2 years and I never checked it out. I'm glad I was able to check it out this time

This my 3rd time coming and first time this year. I love walking here and there's always a friendly face across the counter. The bowls are all delicious and today I had the salmon bowl with pickled cucumbers, cuscus and a yogurt mint tomato side. Very healthy and fulfilling. I like to get a good portion of protein in for lunch so I had enough energy for my walk back and work. With having so many places to eat in Miami, I come here not only because the food is good but because I get quality ingredients and it's homemade the chefs take pride in making your food. If you share a photo on social media the give you a little sweet dessert and if you check in you get a free Nutella bread pudding! If that doesn't make you come here I don't know what else to tell you.

Fast and delicious healthy food! A great place for takeout lunch. They have a good menu with several healthy including salads, smoothies, homemade soups and desserts, sandwiches, wraps, and daily lunch specials. The place is very small but it was great for takeout food. You can easily ordered online and your food will be ready by the time you go to pick it up. I ordered the special of the day, turkey meatloaf with sweet potato mash. It was so good!! I also checked-in on Yelp and received the complimentary guava and cheese pudding. They served it warm, so I couldn't wait to get to my destination to take a bite. Yummy! Parking can be challenging since I only saw street parking and Coral Way can get very busy. At Plate, the food is simply delicious and you can't beat the prices. You can get a home-cooked meal for under $10!

I've been trying to put on weight and I've been doing it with really unhealthy eating so I'm trying to change that now. I looked on yelp for a healthy spot and found this two blocks from the post office. There's some cute outside seating and they put plants which is great otherwise the terrible traffic passing in front of it would all watch you eat. The inside is small and conveniently set up. There's a menu on the wall/ceiling which I can't read even my eyes are fine, but they have flyers and of course, my number one guideline in picking what to eat: yelp! Front desk guy was friendly and patient. I ordered the tuna salad. He informed me that's just Tuna by itself so as a salad you also have to order the house salad. I did, it was simple but good. The chicken pesto wrap was good, warm chicken. Don't expect a panini style, it's pieces of pesto and chicken and tomato in a multigrain wrap. It was really good. It is very juicy/greasy which is great for me as I try to eat calorie dense everything now but I'm sure someone on a diet wouldn't like this too much. Tasted good tho, not a wrap where all is blended but you get perfect individual flavors from the ingredients. Check in gave the option for guava or Nutella bread pudding. I would never order either one but reading the reviews I went for the Nutella one. It was warm and chocolaty as expected. I didn't get much Nutella flavor but more a chocolate lava flavor, which I liked. It was really good - I'm not too much of a sweet tooth but this definitely helped me with gaining weight :) the bread pieces were little dry and tough but the chocolate made up for that. Parking in the area is not easy. I parked 2 blocks away and walked.

The establishment is very clean, It's a great spot to sit and enjoy a meal, fresh juice, or cafecito. I went right after a morning beach trip to have a late breakfast and refreshing drink. Food: Plate Uno - Breakfast Menu - Medium Portion The eggs are made just right, not watery or flimsy. They chop the protein of choice(mine was bacon) and scramble it with eggs. The bacon was delicious, not undone or over cooked, just the right amount of crispy The home style potato's are also cooked just right, not undone or overcooked and seasoned to perfection. There are 4 choices for toast, I went with French bread. It's toasted and buttered, also made just right and not over buttered or soggy. Last but not least, the included coffee, I chose to have Cortadito style. The coffee used is high quality, bold flavor, very nice brew. Drink: Coral Way - Smoothie Menu - Big portion Delicious, Fresh, smooth not chunky. A healthy portion of fruit, refreshing, a definite bang for your buck smoothie. The menu is full of delicious options for just about every appetite in the group or enough to make this your spot if you work in the area as the options are almost endless but most importantly this is Fresh food that is priced just right which is becoming hard to find in Miami.

Plate offers Cuban-influenced breakfast and sandwiches at an affordable price. The staff is friendly and helpful, the ambiance quaint, clean and quiet. This morning, I switched up my Starbucks routine and ordered coffee/breakfast here instead, and I'm super happy with the outcome. The bread pudding is also pretty life changing. I love love love this place. I am crazy about the fact that there is a place to have a delicious meal that at the same time is healthy. My boyfriend brings me food from here all the time and I love it everytime. Their tacos that they had as a special one day, although healthy, were so rich with flavor it was amazing! I wanted more! We gotta spread the word about this place because it really is worth keeping around :D The picadillo is also delicious and the prices for everything are very economical. The owner is very customer oriented and even when there was a screw up with a cc charge he worked hard at getting it all straightened out which shows that he really cares about his business. If you're looking for a healthy meal and you still want the flavor try this place out! You won't regret it! And tell your friends! read more

this place is right around the corner of my house and I eat there about 3 times a week... its super tiny but thats what makes it so cozy :)) I love the lasagna!!! My 305 Salad was fresh and delicious. My wife's salad was lettuce with turkey lunch meat piled on top. My salad was 5 stars, hers was 2 (excellent salad dressing prevented it from being a 1 star salad). A bonus star was given for the guava cheese bread pudding. Great staff but horrible parking. I left conflicted about what to say. read more

This place is boss!! I had the pan con lechon and it was nuts!! The pork was soft and full of flavor. The guava and cheese bread pudding was fantastic. The prices are super reasonable.. I'm so glad my better half showed me this place. I can't get over how good the food was and how nice the owner was.. Awesome little lunch spot. Will DEFINITELY be back. read more

I stopped by Plate on the way to the airport with my family and it was the best decision we could have made. The owner was the nicest person ever and really made us feel welcome. He was really invested in the satisfaction of his customers. I got the special of the day - chicken with rice and vegetables with a side of plantains. The plantains were amazing and the rest of it was good as well. The highlight of the meal by far was the chocolate bread pudding - delectable melt-in-your-mouth amazing. We also sampled the pea soup which was delicious. read more

I stumbled upon Plate while I was looking for an ATM on Coral Way. It's a hole in the wall, type of restaurant. Great place for a quick bite to eat if you work around the area. As you walk in there's a wall which lists the daily specials. Your best bang for your buck - is the breakfast special - 2 eggs, toast, bacon and coffee for $3.95! If you have a sweet tooth, try their blueberry muffins, they are freshly made every morning. read more

Had a dreaded afternoon meeting in the grove today so I set out early from my office in the 954, hoping to find another gem from Yelp to grab a quick lunch. The Plate was my choice and as I sit here digesting my pulled pork sandwich, I am glad I found this place. They even have a check in offer for a free guava pastry that I am working my way through as I type. Not sure I can get up to leave just yet as I think I moistened myself. After driving by this place numerous times and reading about it on yelp, i had the pleasure of stopping in for lunch. It was definitely worth the wait! The place is small, but that adds to what makes it so special. The owner and staff are very nice and recommended what we should eat after we asked. Love there choices of special menus throughout the week. Yummy breakfasts, salads, and sandwiches. Staff is very nice and kind and attentive to their clients. If you like soups, try their split pea soup and their chicken and barley soup. It is super delicious and filling. I love their Club sandwich and their 305 salad. read more

Today was my first time ordering from Plate. I ordered the chicken curry wrap and it was delicious, with fresh ingredients. I like that they deliver all the way to miracle mile. Though I didn't expect a quick delivery since online it gave me the option to choose a time...they came while I was out running an errand. Please fix that option or let future online customers know!! I give it a 4 rating for now since it was my first time, I'll come back and edit as soon as try more menu items. Their prices are AWEEEESOOME and I really did enjoy my wrap. Ordered a pesto chicken sub which is huge 12 inches of deliciousness. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, I would've liked a little more pesto but other than that no complaints. Since I checked in through Yelp I also received a free guava bread pudding which was so yummy. The best of all this is that all of this was only $8.95, now you can't beat that price for lunch especially here in the gables. Definitely will be returning. read more

Hubby and I came here today for a late lunch. We ordered the Royal India wrap and the 305 salad. The Royal India Wrap had curry chicken, coconut brown rice and spring mix. Personally I felt it should have more salad and less rice. It was basically chicken and rice with a few pieces of lettuce. I would totally order it again, just request more salad. The flavor was really good. It was a whole wheat wrap which was a plus. The 305 salad had mushroom, carmelized walnuts, apple, blue cheese and grilled chicken with a guava vinaigrette. It was amazing. The chicken was not processed or pre-made which fantastic. I loved the dressing and the walnuts tasted like candy. Parking sucks in this area - Street parking only and it's very limited. There's a parking lot in the building that costs $3 per hour. As a bonus this place has a small patio! read more

Plate is a an awesome place if you're looking for fresh, delicious and healthy food. I loved the turkey wrap and the iced cafe con leche with soy milk really hits the spot on a hot summer day. The owner was also really friendly and personable. I was in town trying to help a relative move and he gave us great tips about the neighborhoods around Miami. So my bf and I came to Plate on another one of my crazy yelp searches for good healthy eats. We weren't sure what to expect but with a yelp deal and a free dessert with a yelp check in we said - WHY NOT?! Boy were we in for a delicious treat! The owner Toto greeted us with a smile, a rundown of the menu & a sample of their soup of the day. Im not a huge fan of Lentil soup but it was so warm and tasty i was almost tempted to add it to our order. We ordered the turkey quesadillas and the pan con lechon. Both were light, fresh and extremely flavorful. The prices were more than reasonable and the portion sizes appropriate. After our meal we were surprised with an ooey gooey choco chip & walnut bread pudding for being a yelper!! (their signature guava & cheese one was baking). We left Plate looking forward to our next visit. YYUUUMMMMM!!! read more

All in all an excellent place to eat, especially for lunch. The very simply adorned eatery has a basic offering and a daily special, nearly all of which look good, if not great. Our food was hot and fresh, we were given a sample of the day's soup, and were at least tempted by the outrageous brownies and cookies, but the portions were plentiful enough that we didn't need to indulge. We used a Yelp deal, and that gave us an above-average value for a lunch place. I'd like to see a few more basic items for variety, including some sides. Great place for a quick lunch or to take a break from work. You have the option to eat light or heavy. I had the oriental express with a sweet potato carrot cream soup which was DELICIOUS! Small place and cafe atmosphere. MUST try guava and cheese bread pudding! It is absolutely delicious! Plate has been a saver to my lunch breaks and sugar cravings. Have been going to this place now for a couple of months at least 3 times a week. You can find heathy options at a great price. Of course life is a balance, whenever I need that office break in the afternoon plates' colada and AMAZING deserts (my favorites are the bread pudding and the tres leches) help me to get me back to track. I've eaten here a few times since I often visit a nearby office. Sometimes the food is great, sometimes its okay. That's perfectly fine. The reason it got a lower rating is because the attitude by a particular (ranking) staff member was really off-putting. I can't say its high on my list of places to go back.
