I search avocado toast and ended up here. I was pleasantly surprised with my order after finding what must be the best value avocado toast in Miami. Manuel our server accommodated us pretty well. We had a promotion that came from Yelp and for a second they weren't about to acknowledge it but it was more so due to the fact that Manuel didn't know of it. Outside of that the service was really good and the food was actually pretty solid I will say the price is a little high for the portions but the food was definitely quality very fresh and a decent amount of flavor. This my 3rd time coming and first time this year. I love walking here and there's always a friendly face across the counter. The bowls are all delicious and today I had the salmon bowl with pickled cucumbers, cuscus and a yogurt mint tomato side. Very healthy and fulfilling. I like to get a good portion of protein in for lunch so I had enough energy for my walk back and work. With having so many places to eat in Miami, I come here not only because the food is good but because I get quality ingredients and it's homemade the chefs take pride in making your food. If you share a photo on social media the give you a little sweet dessert and if you check in you get a free Nutella bread pudding! The place is very small but it was great for takeout food. You can easily ordered online and your food will be ready by the time you go to pick it up. I ordered the special of the day, turkey meatloaf with sweet potato mash. It was so good!! I also checked-in on Yelp and received the complimentary guava and cheese pudding. They served it warm, so I couldn't wait to get to my destination to take a bite. Yummy! Parking can be challenging since I only saw street parking and Coral Way can get very busy. I've been trying to put on weight and I've been doing it with really unhealthy eating so I'm trying to change that now. I looked on yelp for a healthy spot and found this two blocks from the post office. There's some cute outside seating and they put plants which is great otherwise the terrible traffic passing in front of it would all watch you eat. The inside is small and conveniently set up. There's a menu on the wall/ceiling which I can't read even my eyes are fine, but they have flyers and of course, my number one guideline in picking what to eat: yelp! Front desk guy was friendly and patient. I ordered the tuna salad. He informed me that's just Tuna by itself so as a salad you also have to order the house salad. I did, it was simple but good. The chicken pesto wrap was good, warm chicken. Don't expect a panini style, it's pieces of pesto and chicken and tomato in a multigrain wrap. It was really good. It is very juicy/greasy which is great for me as I try to eat calorie dense everything now but I'm sure someone on a diet wouldn't like this too much. Tasted good tho, not a wrap where all is blended but you get perfect individual flavors from the ingredients. Check in gave the option for guava or Nutella bread pudding. I would never order either one but reading the reviews I went for the Nutella one. It was warm and chocolaty as expected. I didn't get much Nutella flavor but more a chocolate lava flavor, which I liked. It was really good - I'm not too much of a sweet tooth but this definitely helped me with gaining weight :) the bread pieces were little dry and tough but the chocolate made up for that. heard about this place from a co-worker and a few of us from work decided to check it out.  Like most have mentioned in their reviews, parking is a challenge but we were lucky and we parked a few stores down.  It is a very small place.  You place your order at the counter and they bring the food to you.  The girl behind the was not friendly at all.  I don't think she could crack a smile if her life depended on it.  I ordered the malanga soup, the salmon lunch special and you get a free bread pudding with your Yelp check in.  I opted for the Nutella bread pudding.  The orders came out right away and I have to say if you love a lot of salt in your food this is your place.  Wow!  I will probably have 10 pounds of water retention for weeks.  This is a shame because if it had not been for the salt issue it would have been good.  The salmon was cooked beautifully which is a rarity when dining out.  The dish came with wild rice which was mushy.  There is a sign that states that the specials come with ice tea but you have to ask for it....from the girl behind the counter who does not smile and is not very happy about getting it for you. Lets rewind 1.5 years ago. Found this place by chance and had such an amazing chicken coconut curry dish that today i came back to have it. I went in gentleman was nice, brought me the chicken coconut curry dish and it looked different, the avocado was also yellow with black spots on it. Tried it and there was no curry, no coconut, uncooked tomato's, sauce tasted full blast mustard. I told him that this was not the same dish i had before and he didn't even ask me if i wanted something else, or a refund, nothing! Came back and tried to show me the difference between his mustard and his curry sauces which were in squeeze bottles. He proceeded without my knowledge to make me another dish. I told him i will pay for everything else I ordered but do not have time to wait for another dish i had to pick up my son. In all my years in miami and in this country and as a business owner i have never encountered a person who had an unhappy customer and refused to refund them!!!!!! Insane!!! Of course I flipped my shit which is unlike me!! But this guy was not trying to accommodate only with another dish and said he has a family to feed!! Well get your dishes in order and dont try and fool people!. Anyways my dog didn't even eat the salmon that i got for her which i had no complaints to pay for. Well if the dog wont eat it! After a nice and quiet walk down coral way/gables, my wife suggested this Greek place. The outside seating had my eye. The outside window was a great place to find the meal of the day. The owner and staff greeted us within seconds and recommended anything from a veggie burger to the stroganoff. The meal itself was super healthy. The stroganoff was made with ground turkey and wheat pasta with a salad. My wife ordered the veggie burger. To drink we got pure ginger and beet juice. The drink was just as delicious as the healthy meals. Options are a too many to choose from. The healthier lifestyle they portray and live by is awesome. The seating outside gave a perfect view to coral way and some of the other shops around. The staff was respectful and very fast. Was looking for a quick breakfast with my boyfriend and was very happy that we found Plate! Lucky enough we found parking right at the store front but I could imagine that parking could get complicated later in the day since its located right on Coral Way in the Coral Gables Area. The moment we took a bite we immediately commented to each other on how good our meals tasted. The bagel sandwich, served on an a hearty everything bagel, was next level because of the oh-so delicious cheese and large ingredient portion. The reason I loved my wrap because it wasn't egg with bacon it was BACON with egg! It was literally stuffed with multiple strips of bacon and light egg.......perfection! The food was great, except for the excessive grease but still an enjoyable experience. The coffee wasn't enjoyable because it was burning hot.
