I had the torched fig and feta salad, which is an unusual choice for me but it just looked so good! It lived up to the expectation -- a delicious, perfectly dressed salad and who doesn't love a fig? Avocado, vegan feta, pistachios....come on! The sausage ravioli with was similarly delicious -- and spicier than expected in the most perfect way. The sauce was flavorful and rich. The house-made raviolis were just great and perfectly filled with savory vegan sausage. (I know it's assumed that everything here is vegan but I can't help but clarify. ) For desert, I had the panna cotta and my bf had the chocolate hazelnut dome. Both were so great and the staff sang happy birthday to me *in harmony*. Overall, an exquisite experience at a place that is now my go to for special occasions. Damn. Don't sleep on this place!

We are veg/vegan and were really looking forward to coming to abcV for dinner having heard so much about it. All the options we were recommended were excellent (cocktails, avo lettuce cups, humus, beets, mushroom bolognese, koji tofu and chocolate cake), very unique dishes, presented exquisitely. Yanette and the staff provided excellent service. The decor ambience and open kitchen have a nice chic vibe, definitely a date place or for celebrations. Highly recommend!

We ordered most things of the menu to try and to take to go and ended up exceeding our limit by $22! We tried and liked the following: -harry's berries strawberries - fresh -california dates - scrumptious -soft scrambled eggs - best eggs Ive had in a while -wild mushroom poached eggs - tons of mushrooms! -dosa - doesn't reheat well but is gf and so delicious! -gluten free almond flour pancakes - also doesn't reheat well but are very tasty and chewy when fresh. too bad there's no plain whipped cream in house since we don't eat bananas. Maybe half the dishes included banana in some form. - root reboot pressed juice: beet, carrot, ginger, lemon - tasty! - cappuccinos - standard and good I will return for the soft scrambled eggs and the atmosphere. Soft, friendly, bright, delicate, sunny!

SERVICE - located in Chelsea…read more - spacious interior with tables for groups of 2-4 people - reservations are not required though could be helpful if you do not want to risk waiting - great service! our waiter provided us with comprehensive descriptions of the dishes and drinks - food served relatively quickly - ambiance good for a semi formal meal MENU - french American bistro food - all vegan/vegetarian - slightly pricey FOOD - French dip (7/10): vegan grilled steak with provolone cheese, goat cheese, caramelized onion, and horseradish aioli on a toasted baguette served with a side of au jus dip and fries. This sandwich is usually not something that is available vegetarian so i was curious to see the flavors and textures. The steak is chewy and meaty so if you are not a fan of faux meat then i would proceed with caution. I enjoy the cheeses here as they are unique and different from each other. The sandwich overall was okay though not my favorite sandwich ever. - smoked Mac and cheese (7/10): macaroni with smoked goat cheese, cheddar, mozzarella baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with vegan pancetta and breadcrumbs. This was a cozy appetizer especially on a cold day. The flavors of the cheese are rich and smoky with a hint of saltiness from the pancetta and breadcrumbs. I would have liked it to be a larger portion and offered as an entree. WOULD I GO BACK? Maybe. I liked the ambiance and the option to try dishes that are usually meat heavy but the cuisine is not my personal favorite.
