Digging the retro cop diner vibe and theme here! It's very small inside, with only about 7 for bar seating. The cashier, Antoinette, kindly gave us an extra two doughnuts for the road after we ordered a 12 pack. There are only three flavors (cinnamon sugar, OG sour cream, and a "featured" flavor, which for us was red velvet), and they don't sell individual doughnuts (the smallest size was a 3-pack, which isn't actually good value). The doughnuts are very small, but delicious and best eaten fresh and warm. They're more like cakes than donuts, definitely melt-in-your-mouth gooey, and extremely addictive (although you may not like them if you don't like a cake batter consistency). I personally love all 3 doughnuts and I'm glad there were no cops here because my ordering only a 12-pack was a crime! Finally checked this place out on a weeknight closer to closing. There was one other person in the shop and ordering is easy enough as the menu is straightforward. The person behind the kiosk was super kind. I tried a few of the flavors, but I think the original ended up being my favorite. The mini donuts were made fresh, and were still warm when I was enjoying them, and nicely sweet, and melt in your mouth. Really good, and a great place to check out for fresh donuts, not something you can easily find. They melt in your mouth like confectionery, and are perfectly bite size. One order comes with six, I believe. I would definitely come back to this place, and hope this place continues to see success. I came the other night as I've had this place on my radar for quite a while. It's a pretty small space with some stools to sit at, but otherwise I could see this as being more of a takeout spot. The service was friendly and there was no line, so ordering was super quick. Their weekly special changes, and I went with the three doughnut pack (so that I could try all the flavors). I got the cinnamon, the OG glaze and the weekly special which was Black Forest. They came out piping hot and I easily could have eaten many more. I would highly recommend this place if in the area or if you enjoy delectable doughnuts. read more

What a cute Donut shop. I went right as it opened and had never heard of this place. I just walked by and saw cute donuts in the window. Cute meaning small. When I walked in the person working there was helpful and he asked how I heard about this spot and I said I just walked by and wanted to check it out. Never saw them on social media. He said how this spot is more well known in the Canada area. And he told me what the donuts are made out of as they are very tasty and light. As a Canadian who's had COPS Donuts in Toronto, I was thrilled to find out they had a location here too. Naturally, I had to stop by--and they didn't disappoint. I tried the cinnamon, sour cream, and one of their featured donuts, and all were delicious. The clear standout, though, was the cinnamon. COPS mini donuts are delicious! We stopped by on their second day. They are so friendly! There are 3 flavors: og glaze with sour cream, cinnamon sugar, and a weekly feature. We tried the weekly feature with a coffee glaze from La Cabra with lemongrass made in collaboration with seeyousoon.to. They're mini donuts made to order, and they're beautiful and hot! 6 was easy to eat for 2 - I could see us eating 12 or 18 :) There are larger boxes good for sharing like the hotbox with 36 donuts. Can't wait to try their original flavors and more of the weekly features. Cool interior with art on display - their grand opening included an art exhibition. COPS is in the space where The Doughnut Project used to be (RIP), and I actually found out about them on Instagram since their weekly flavor was a Doughnut Project collab. My friends and I stopped by on a weekday evening to try their donuts. Their donuts are all mini size, and sold in batches of 6. You can get an order of 6 with one flavor, or an order of 12 with two flavors. We ordered 12 and tried the cinnamon sugar and OG sour cream. There was also a weekly special flavor that was beets & ricotta (collab flavor with The Doughnut Project). The donuts came out piping hot, so they are best enjoyed on the spot. Both flavors were great. The OG has a lot of glaze drizzled on it so it is quite sweet and sugary. I'm excited to try more of their special flavors! read more

They take old classic flavors from the previous spot that used to be there and feature them as specials and this it's so sweet and awesome of them to do! Cops makes incredible donuts and completely blew me away. I ordered the donut holes and the cinnamon one was out of this world. It tasted like a Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut without the crunch, super doughy, warm, and easily one of the best donuts I have had in a long time. Worst opening day ever. They tried to drum up interest by offering a free donut on their first day for people to try (great idea). Show up and there are two lines -- VIP and public -- like at a nightclub (terrible idea). They even have a truck with speakers set up blasting music. About 8 people in the public line, so I think, this should go fast, as it's easy to just hand out a donut and send people on their way. Instead, they invited all their hipster friends from the VIP line inside while the hoi polloi in the public line had to wait. After 10 minutes, I left, donut-less. These dumdums don't seem to know who eats donuts. Further, they so botched their promotion, they managed to annoy "the public" who actually buy donuts in order to impress their hipster buddies who don't. I used to visit when this place was The Donut Project, but I won't step into it now that it's these doofuses. Way to make your business fail. read more
