There are a ton of vegetarian/vegan options (there's also a steak for unreconstructed diners), and the service was quick and polite. My sister and I wanted to eat out for dinner, but find a healthier option, so we stumbled upon Little Beet Table. I was extremely impressed by the creativity of the menu, though we ultimately ended on the Guac, little gem Caesar salad, and the rigatoni. The rigatoni was the standout dish, cooked al dente with a creamy pesto sauce. The Guac was tasty and a good portion, except the watercress oil contributed a bitter flavor that we tried our best to avoid by eating around it. The little gem Caesar salad was not a typical Caesar salad. The dressing was orange and tasty more lemony than any Caesar flavor. I did not like the design of the salad, as I had to cut away at the lettuce half presented to me. The worst part of the dish was the soggy chickpeas that did not have a great texture and did not impart any flavor to the overall dish. As for the ambience, we dined on a Monday night at 5:30 so on the earlier side. It was extremely empty. There were only two other diners and they were seated on the opposite end of the restaurant so the lack of people was pretty obvious. Service was extremely quick and all our dishes had arrived 10 minutes after ordering, even though they attempted to space out the dishes by bringing the appetizer first. Also, because of the emptiness of the restaurant, the waiter was extremely attentive, which was nice, but felt honestly pretty awkward. This spot is super healthy, possibly a little too healthy for me. I did enjoy my experience here overall. Came here with my gf for Sunday brunch around 11:30AM. Sat inside because it's hot and humid. For drinks, I ordered the Tarragon Sunset ($15), consisting of blanco tequila, mezcal, pineapple, lemon, and tarragon. The blend of mezcal and the other tropical flavors made this an enjoyable drink. I was worried that this would be too filling because of the bread. The pizza itself is small, but tasted great. Crispy Spirulina Rice ($15), consisting of shiitake mushrooms, shishito peppers and scallions with mojo rojo and a sunny egg. We found this to be too oily, but besides this, we enjoyed the sunny side egg and the mushrooms. Mushroom & Black Bean Burger ($18) consisting of pickled onions, tomato, sprouts, avocado and chipotle aioli with a side of aleppo-roasted sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes to start with is amazing. I would order more of these as a side if that was an option. The service was excellent. One thing I did notice is that the customers were mostly women. Not that it matters, I just found it curious. Very happy with our experience here. We simply had 3 appetizers. The baked beet falafel provided for some unique flavors that I appreciated. It wasn't fried, first of all...so it's immediately healthier in that respect. This also means that it wasn't crispy but rather had a softer texture, and it worked extremely well with the curry aioli. Furthermore, the beet flavor was not overpowering. Note: This particular dish is much more satiating than it looks, so be careful not to overeat! We also had the shishito peppers - which had more of an East Asian flair given the nature of the seasoning. I'm not even a shishito pepper enthusiast, but I was slightly addicted to these. I give this a solid 4.75 stars! The food was so delicious and the menu had such great consideration for food sensitivity. I just felt there were little details missing from the ambiance. I wish the atmosphere and seating were more cozy. And it would be nice to have smaller portion appetizers (with smaller prices). Also, consider embellishing the tables with a single live flower or some rocks in a glass. The restaurant felt stark and gave the impression of seating that wasn't meant to be "too" comfortable. So I felt like there was a disconnect between wanting to be a faster food experience vs. a classy sit down meal. Regardless of my ideas for the ambiance, please do consider fixing the ripped booth seating. The cloth napkins are an excellent touch and the votive candles are lovely. I didn't check to see if the bathrooms are accessible and gender neutral. I also don't remember if the location is wheelchairs friendly. I believe it is with no stairs but best to call and ask. Inside is spacious and good to maneuver around. Seating was abundant and could easily handle a big group meal. The food was so fresh tasting and easy to modify. Tons of gluten free options and vegan. I came to Little Beet Table for brunch at around 1pm on a Saturday. This was my second time here and I was again not disappointed. Our waiter came by very quickly to get our drink order and was very helpful in helping us decide what to get for food. We ended up opting to order: Sunflower seed hummus: I liked this dish a lot! As a very big fan of hummus, this was an interesting spin on the concept. Texture is a bit more grainy but with a creamy consistency that satisfies those hummus cravings. Nice citrus flavor! I would say this is more of a lemony sunflower seed dip with a kick of Zaatar. Pita to hummus ratio is a bit low but the dip is good on its own so I ate the last bits without pita. Roasted Shrimp Salad: generous portion, I ate this as my entree and it was very satisfying. At first I was visually underwhelmed by the number of shrimp in the plate but once I mixed the salad I realized it was the perfect amount. It comes with so many high quality ingredients (quinoa, fresh avocado, almonds, golden raisins) that you really don't need shrimp in every bite. Very good sweet/savory/a little sour flavor profile. A little bit pricey but a good, filling option on the menu. Brussel sprouts: small side of sprouts cooked with mustard seeds and bacon! Nice crispy exterior with very rich flavor. Exactly what you'd expect out of a classic dish like this. Good. Black bean and mushroom burger: my friend ordered this dish per my recommendation since I got this last time and loved it! I had such high hopes for the Little Beet Table, but unfortunately I left a little unimpressed. I do appreciate that the goal of the restaurant is to serve healthy, nourishing food, however some of the things we ordered were a little too bland or under seasoned. My party ordered a few different dishes to share. I enjoyed the Beet Falafel, as well as the Crispy Spirulina Rice Bowl. The Beet Falafel was very crispy on the outside, but the dipping sauce it came with was a little too mustard tasting. I recommend asking for a side of chipotle aioli to dip the falafel into instead. The rice honestly was very good, it came with lots of green onions and a nice, slightly spicy red sauce. The Warm Banana Bread and the Sunflower Hummus were very bland. The banana bread was cold in the center, which bothered me a little bit because it made it seem cheap. The hummus with pita bread had hardly any flavor, other than the turmeric chickpeas. Lastly, a member of our group ordered the shrimp tacos, I did not try, but they were basically just shrimp, guacamole, and corn tortillas. The service was so-so, our waitress was polite, but it was very hard to get her attention, even when it wasn't that busy. I ordered the crispy salmon, and though I said their standard seared preparation would be fine, it came out well done. I reserved a table outside because I have to mask indoors still, and they sat me next to a table with a woman with a nasty cough, so I had to dine with my mask on (there was an empty table on my other side the whole time I dined).
