I wanted to take a moment to leave a review for Tuffy Tire & Service Center. I spoke with Vince,…read morewho I believe is the manager, and he was extremely courteous and helpful. I originally went to Firestone because I thought I had a tire that needed to be repaired, but they were unable to help. I then came to Tuffy, where Vince and his team took the time to properly inspect the tire. During their inspection, they realized the tire actually did not need a repair after all. What really stood out to me was their honesty and professionalism. They did not charge me anything for the inspection and simply gave me the information I needed. Because of that level of service and integrity, I will definitely be returning for future oil changes and any other vehicle needs. Thank you again, Vince. Jesus Ramos

I have gone there for few years. Spent over $5000 there. The last 2 experiences have been horrible…read more My AC needed to be replaced after that, no issues with the AC. However after about a month, I noticed I had a parasitic draw, come out and battery was dead. Then I had the Service Engine Soon coming on for the O2 sensors. I brought it back they said they had a machine to scan for the parasitic draw, it found nothing, now they said it could be the battery causing the the parasitic draw. They replaced a very expensive battery with a much cheaper one, issue not fixed. They also replaced the O2 sensors and the Service Engine Soon light still coming on. The do the sensors they took out the radiator. A month or so later my car overheated, had to have it towed to my home. I tried to fill the radiator and it all came pouring out on to the ground. I found the bottom hose of the radiator, the hose clamp was never tightened, the hose was put back on the spout. I tightened the clamp and refilled the radiator, filled up without issue. Now I have a fried water pump or thermostat from the overheating. The amount of aggravation they caused me ridiculous. Extremely disappointed.

I brought my 2012 Chrysler 200 to this shop hoping to establish a relationship with a quality…read morerepair facility to address a shift solenoid issue. I provided the fault code (P0750) along with background on what had already been done to the vehicle, and asked them to review the problem and provide a quote to replace the shift solenoid. The following day, I received a call with their "diagnosis," which was surprising and disappointing. They stated that based on the code, dirty transmission fluid, the solenoid supposedly being internal to the transmission (it is actually external), and what they believed to be 180,000 miles on the vehicle, they recommended replacing the entire transmission. In reality, the vehicle currently has under 153,000 miles. They quoted approximately $5,000 for a transmission replacement, which I declined. I completed the repair myself shortly after. The shift solenoid was accessible through a side pan in the engine bay, and the job took only a few hours. I also performed a fluid change since it was due. The vehicle is now shifting smoothly and operating normally, confirming that a full transmission replacement was unnecessary. I will say the manager/owner was friendly during our initial conversation and did not seem dismissive. However, the information provided during the estimate was inaccurate and ultimately led me to feel that either the shop was pursuing a high-dollar repair or simply did not want to take on the actual job. If the work was outside their technicians' scope, I would have preferred they say that directly. I wish them well as they grow their business, but based on this experience, I will not be returning.

My car has never had any problems before, so I didn't even know what that meant. The guy told me to leave it and come back later and they'd let me know what was wrong. When I came back, they gave me a huge list of things "wrong" with my car, which already didn't sit right with me because again my car was perfectly fine before I came there. I was planning on getting a second opinion, but before I could even do that, my car stopped turning on completely. It just started making a slow ticking noise. Come to find out, ALL of the oil in my car was GONE. That does NOT just happen out of nowhere. I had a good amount of oil before I brought my car there, and somehow right after I leave, it's magically empty? Why was my oil even taken out in the first place? The only thing I can think of is to try to "prove" I had an oil leak which makes zero sense. That is extremely dangerous. You can literally destroy someone's engine or put them in a dangerous situation doing something like that. As a woman, that whole experience felt disgusting, disrespectful, and like I was being taken advantage of. I don't recommend this place AT ALL. Be very careful bringing your car here. The people working on my car and the guy I spoke to can honestly go to hell for that. Yall are lucky IF I don't file a damn police report on yall ass! KISS MY ASS!
