When I needed a new muffler, they were honest and told me to go to a muffler shop. I brought my car in for another service, and they pointed out a leak to get fixed soon-ish. I had a flat tire a few weeks later and took my car to Firestone, and they pointed out the same leak. Should have listened to Chinatown Classic right away! Finally, my A/C was blowing hot air, so I took it to another shop (City Tire) that opened earlier and was highly rated for A/C repairs. They recharged my A/C and said there was no major leaks, but my A/C blew hot air a few days later. I took it back to the same mechanic, and they said there was a leak by my condenser, and that it would be $860 for a new one! They missed this the first time? Anyway, Chinatown Classic Auto replaced my condenser for about $440. If you're in the Bridgeport/Bronzeville/Chinatown area, HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking your car here first when it needs repairs.
