Pay the pretty penny at a real mechanic shop and get a warranty for parts AND labour. In so many businesses in this Country of USA when you replace a part they give you a certain amount of time as a warranty. Then replace that part FREE of charge if it is defective (manufacturer defect) in Aqueels garage you will still pay. This is a greedy way to do business and sadly me or my family won't go back. I will drive 30 or 40+ minutes to a different mechanic who is slightly more expensive but Sadly aqueel will no longer be getting my money. Sorry ol chap!

Recently my automatic steering wheel telescoping feature in my Ford F150 King Ranch stopped working. An internet search indicated that the problem might involve pulling the entire steering wheel column. Not wanting to mess with that, I first took it to a new auto repair business right down the road from my house in Warrenville, IL. They simply couldn't figure out what the problem was even though I had researched it and told them that there was a good chance a gear was simply jammed. After two trips to them, they still misdiagnosed the problem. They charged me $150 for the misdiagnosis and were going to charge $1,300.00 for the repair even though they didn't know what the problem was (?)_ I had seen YouTube videos by BSG Automotive and Brian appeared to really know his stuff so I took my truck to them. It's about a 35 or 40 mile round trip but I'm sure glad I decided to have them check out my truck. We went to breakfast nearby while they diagnosed the problem. We got back to the shop within an hour and our truck was already in the parking lot and the diagnosis was complete. Not only that, but they fixed the jammed up gear during the diagnosis and determined that the jam caused the motor to burn out. They ordered a new motor. When the new motor arrived, they contacted me and they did the job while I waited the next day. Everything works fine again. But there's more to my experience. If I had taken my truck to the local shop, the telescoping motor would probably burn out again because, even though I told them to check for a jam, they said there was no jam. My total bill locally would have been $1,450 and the motor probably would have burned out again. BSG, on the other hand, diagnosed the problem in less than an hour for $100.00 and fixed the jammed gears during the diagnosis. When the motor was delivered, they replaced it while I waited for $710.00 (motor and labor). So, not only did BSG diagnose and fix the problem quickly, but they charged me $640.00 less than the local business which had demonstrated incompetence. Guess who I'm going to take my truck to in the future if it's to fix something I can't do myself. I highly recommend BSG Automotive. I can see why they have such glowing reviews. Nice people too!

They typically accept walk-ins at any point throughout the day and can tackle a range of issues from simple tasks like light bulbs/fuses; to oil changes; to any kind of tire/brakes maintenance; to mechanical/electrical issues; and many more. I purchased a full set of tires (4) from them at the beginning of June 2023 and purchased the tire insurance plan which I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for tires. They have plugged my tires multiple times no questions and even replaced one completely. When they replaced it they also rotated the tires for free at the time as per the insurance. I'm not even certain exactly how much money it has saved me and will continue to save me in the future. They also replaced my front passenger ball joint and alignment which caused the car to now run as if it's brand new again. That we obviously paid for and their pricing was comparable/less than many other shops in the area for the work that needed to be done on the ball joint. I will be having them do my oil change this coming week and my mother is going to have them replace the brakes on her Mercedes SL550 AMG (which demonstrates how much we trust and support this garage).
