I approached the building during active rain and attempted to open the door, as one would normally do at any public building. The male security guard stationed at the main entrance, who was shorter in height, stocky in build, with black hair, dark eyes, and dark skin, abruptly stepped outside, physically blocked the door, and addressed me in a hostile, authoritarian manner. There was no visible signage or clear instruction indicating that visitors were required to wait for the guard to open the door, and I had no way of knowing this beforehand. Rather than showing basic courtesy or calmly explaining the procedure--especially given the weather--the guard chose to be confrontational and dismissive. The interaction felt like an unnecessary power trip and was completely inappropriate for a public-facing federal office. I am giving one star due to the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic human consideration shown by the security staff. This experience was avoidable and left a very negative impression.

This agency is nothing short of criminally negligent in nature. People argue that they "just work…read morehere" and "don't write the laws", but everyone gets to choose who they work for in this country. I lost my job of 5 years, reported to them that I was waiting on my unemployment insurance to kick in and that there would be a slight delay of a few weeks (which totaled about $200 that would be paid about 2 weeks late), then they IMMEDIATELY reported an entire month (over $400 [with no obligation to report anything under $1000]) as unpaid, despite having records that proved that to be untrue, which lowered my credit score by almost 40pts, which will end up costing me a total of up to $90,000 in APR over the next 30 years as I was just preparing to buy a house as soon as I started my new job, or potentially cost me the entire ability to have a house to leave to my 6 children as the only parent responsible enough to have a chance at that. There is no actual past due amount because the full amount has already been deducted from my unemployment insurance payments. Just an overzealous anti-father government theft agency doing their part to replace strong fathers with the state in order to forcefully indoctrinate our youth with their radical agenda once they render the father a weak figure with nothing to leave to their children.

There are two security guards by the door to check you in and make sure you're not carrying anything dangerous. You check in and get a ticket with a number on it like the DMV and wait to be called. Even though I have an appointment I wasn't called until almost 15 mins after my appointment time. The person that helped process my paperwork was nice and quick! I didn't expect a longer wait time when I had an appointment so be prepared for that.

Thankfully, when we returned, we asked for Regina, and she truly went above and beyond. She handled everything professionally, fixed the issue, and was kind, calm, and helpful throughout the process. She is truly the sunlight in a very moody and unpleasant place. There are three other workers here, and all of them had attitudes that made the experience stressful. Thank God Regina is here, and I sincerely hope she stays as long as I, my kids, and anyone else we know need to use this facility--because we will always ask for Regina. If management is hiring, please hire people with good attitudes who actually care about doing their jobs correctly and not messing things up for others.

To my surprise, I only waited about 10 minutes before my number was called and another 30 minutes to finish my paperwork. The employee helping me was new and needed a bit of assistance, but she was very sweet and apologetic. Even with that, I was out the door in just 45 minutes! Overall, this was one of the smoothest DMV experiences I've had. Definitely worth going early -- and this Roseville location continues to set the bar for efficiency and cleanliness.

When you first arrive, you are subjected to a security search. I had to empty my pockets, and the security guard ran a magnetic wand through my entire body and shoes. It's a Federal building after all. I went on a Tuesday around 10 a.m. without an appointment since I was having an issue completing an online application. After about 30 minutes, I was able to get an appointment and plenty of information to get my application completed. Way better than the DMV.

I was asked some double digit addition questions and I assume I was correct, because I'm suddenly not disabled.... Then I went to my doctor to get him to write a letter that supersedes the misdiagnosis by the person from social security. Once I told him according to social security I'm apparently not disabled he disagreed and wrote me a lengthy letter citing my many deficiencies as the need for disability because of my coma. How is social security going to give disability to people who don't need it, then when a legitimate disabled adult comes to your office, you deny him?
