Since selling my home in Newcastle, I have contacted PCS on three separate occasions, and each time it was pertaining to domestic violence or the degradation to my humanity. In each and every situation I was blamed, ridiculed and disregarded. The victim blaming and disregard of women's abuse destroys millions of lives every minute of every day. This rape culture is a societal problem in general, and more prevalent in Placer County than any place I've ever lived. Noteworthy is that prior to this, I've never reported any incidents, so I don't have a history of being a victim. Each situation is different, and in each situation the men felt entitled to violate me, but I wasn't having it, and why I'm going to do something about it. Incident One In 2000 I was selling my home and breaking up with my ex, who my realtor acknowledged was so ignorant he didn't even understand the transaction. We paid off all personal and business debts in the transaction and split the cash. Noteworthy is that his bad business debts were 75% more than my than my debts. Further, he had at least $150K in illiquid assets, so I was again getting about 1/4th of the settlement amount. When I asked for just 10K more in cash, since I wasn't requiring him to liquidate his assets, he choked me. My ex took off right after this, so he wasn't there when the two misogynist PCS officers arrived. I called 911 but immediately hung up. Upon reflection, this is actually the one and only time that I've called where someone actually showed up! Two PCS arrived about ten minutes later. When I told them what happened they said: "If we have to come out here again we're going to arrest both of you." Prior to my ex choking me, there was never any violence in our relationship. And two weeks earlier he was crying, asking me to marry him. As an aside, Bob Marley, Mr. One Love, beat and degraded the women in his life when they expected him to be responsible for his children. And the FBI has about 14 file cabinets full of Martin Luther King, Mr. Non-violence, beating prostitutes and engaging in the most disgusting perverted sexual conduct you could possibly imagine. Normalized deviance is why my exes conduct was excused, and why he felt entitled to choke me when I stood up for my rights. Incident Two On 12/5/2011 I called the non-emergency number for PCS to report the disgusting conduct of a registered sex offender who was living at the place I was working in Newcastle. He hung around the office and helped out for about three weeks, and before I knew he was a creepy pervert with a record, we went to lunch a couple times. After going on a couple dates, I realized he was not ok. He became increasingly aggressive, going so far as to expose himself to me while I was working, and requested disgusting sexual favors. When I reported this to the dispatcher she reacted with contempt, because I've learned this is what happens when you report a sex crime, and she hung up on me. She sent the officer to his location rather than mine, because she was so disgusted, and with me, not him! I told her what he did because this is what she needed to know, and why I was reporting this incident. Her conduct is typical of women who hate themselves, and each other, and she endangered my life by sending the officer to his house. My car was later vandalized, and when I attempted to report this, again I was dismissed. I did see the troll who who I believe did this and reported it, but it was dismissed at the time. And the sex offender's probation officer also dismissed my report but Facebook immediately took down his page when I reported it. Like most predators, they are accustomed to exploiting those they think are vulnerable, and they usually get away with it. When I reported this to PCS, only after reflecting on it for a bit, I was violated all over again. The detective said the business owner was too old to hurt anyone, and he repeatedly asked me what I did for a living. He refused to take a report or investigate, and I wrote a letter to the sergeant in charge at the time. Again, this was only after I reflected upon the entire incident, and how wrong it was on so many levels. Also, after reflecting I decided this man's wife needed to be aware that her husband was a predator. Her response was; "I know my husband, and he'll try to get away with what he can, you must not respect yourself, or he wouldn't have tried." Perhaps my experience is an exception. Let's hope it is because personally, I think Sheriff Bonner is an arrogant ass. Over-reactionary, easily swayed and without tact. Thankfully we are nearing the sunset of both his career and the era in which law enforcement considered themselves above reproach. My friend comes from the ugliest family I have EVER in my life seen and I have a whole slew of crazy in my people experience. They are non church going total Christian hypocrites, close minded, judgemental, paranoid and ignorant bullies that should spend more time on taking hard looks at themselves and their coke addict son with kids from how many women he ain't married to? And house in foreclosure ? And doping up an old man with dementia who suddenly not a month before he dies wants you to control his money. But...the Problem is they look good on paper. But they are not...they are the exact opposite yet convincing when compared to an ex-con. But well composed leeches nonetheless. So when my most gentle soul unexpectedly suddenly and horribly died in my arms while I sang our favorite songs, guess who burst thru the door into my home THE VERY NEXT DAY wanting to grab each and every asset within it? Yeah. The Family that barely even spoke to their own. Thankfully the responding deputies escorted them off the property and I made plans to move. Also in this time I needed to grieve and also bury my friend. Knowing how the family is, I told the hospital that if necessary I would pay for the final arrangements. But they wouldn't allow me to claim the body because I wasn't family. But the family would not sign over the body to me. So I could do nothing. Yet the whole time, these people would neither claim the body or pay for the funeral. After two weeks my friends corpse goes to the Sheriff and I explain the whole mess to his assistant who was as warm as an ice cube with a centre made of acidic salts. One more week goes by and she says perhaps in the medical power of attorney you might have rights to the corpse. That same day I find the document, fax it to her and get confirmation that indeed I do have the right. So I start the process of arrangements with a funeral home. THE VERY NEXT MORNING, this nasty arrogant facsimile of humanity Sheriff Bonner shows up at my door with no less than three cop cars, his car plus his assistant and invades my home demanding that I bury my friend or he 'would return and haul my ass off to jail'. For all the neighbours to see. And in no small part because he was negatively influenced by the deceased's proper white republican voting Auburn Christian family (who I should note had at this point 'removed' over 400k from my dead loved on) and his own prejudice that seems to believe no ex-con can ever rejoin society let alone have paid their debts to. You need to improve the integrity and discretion of the deputies. A couple years back while leaving thunder valley I was driving perfect like I always do no tickets in over 15 years. Out of nowhere I get pulled over by placer county sheriff's. Granted the tags were way out of date but when the officer asked if I knew why he pulled me over I didn't play stupid. When he asked why we hadn't got the vehicle properly registered I explained that we had been trying to make the vehicle legal but found out there was a lien on it and the process of getting the lien lifted isn't just a matter of paying the lien off, there is also paperwork that needs to be submitted to the dmv by the party with the old lien. It is such a n involved process that we kept a file in the car substantiating that we were doing everything humanly possible to make the car legal. Then he dropped the bomb a.nd asked.do you mind if I search your car. I immediately knew this was going.to.get.ugly. I respectfully told.him I did mind and under no círcumstance is he to search me or my vehicle. He then ordered me out of the car and said he was going to check me for weapons for his safety. I said like hell he was unless there was a good reason he suspected me of having a weapon, I pointed out that I was outnumbered and that him and his partner both had guns.
