Maria Sandoval the intake interviewer for benefits is rude, bias, and unsympathetic!…read more She discriminates and makes you feel as if your a criminal for applying for needed assistance. She chewed and smacked her gum the entire time she was interviewing me. How unprofessional. She came up with 7 things she needs me to run around and get and provide to her before i can get assistance. 5 of which I have already provided on a previous application just 4 months ago. She will make you jump thru hoops and still refuse your application. It's unfortunate that people like this get well paying job and are placed in positions of authority. NO HEART or empathy from this women, just cold and cruel!

Mine was turned in early because when i called and spoke with this man he said it was due a month early and now i got the letter stating i will be having some of my benifits stop. Heres the kicker they have the form i turned in early so they know i did it. Was never contacted by the office by email or phone and told i turned it in a month too soon. Now Im still gunna have to jump through hoops. I was lied to, dude gave a fake name and didnt even make notes of me calling in and asking about my sar 7 i have had a smart comment about not calling in soon enough yesterday to have this new issue sorted out ( dont get mail until later in the day reason why i didnt call hadnt seen the stoping benifits letter ) make sure you do as you are told or they will mess with you even if you actually need the help and arent someone taking advantage. Make sure you speak in your most kissing up voice possible because they will mess with you. . . This is not everyone however it most that answer the phones.

This is for the uninitiated. Hopefully, those reading this review never gets the experience of…read morehaving to visit this center. Except maybe for the mandated jury duty that is. We were here for a traffic violation of the texting variety. Parking was packed even before 9 on a Monday. Got through to security and proceeded to get our service wait tickets via an e-kiosk. It took about 10 minutes before we were registered and told to go to room 30 where the traffic violations were being heard. Upon entering this courtroom, the judge was hearing testimony from a police officer while the "violating" party sat in the table a few chairs from him. Mikes were sensitive enough for testimonies to be heard inside. I figured that those who contested their citations went first as the arresting officer were present during the hearing. This went on for some time, and a 15-minute recess ended the scheduled disputes. It went like a breeze after that as those with petty traffic citations were summoned in batches of three's. I sat with my teen during the proceeding and the judge was thankful for my presence. We luckily got off a forgiveness as this first-time violator was a minor. We spent a total of 2 hrs and 30 minutes overall. Not quite what I planned for a Monday morning, but I'm sure glad it got the result it did.

I think this is a great courthouse, the location is convenient, parking is plentiful and the fact…read morethat the jail, probation and the district attorneys office is all walking distance is fantastic. The courtrooms are a little outdated but the technology is spot on. Staff at metal detectors are friendly and cleaning staff is always super nice. The clerks know what they are doing and it is one of the more enjoyable/modern looking courthouses to visit.

This agency is nothing short of criminally negligent in nature. People argue that they "just work…read morehere" and "don't write the laws", but everyone gets to choose who they work for in this country. I lost my job of 5 years, reported to them that I was waiting on my unemployment insurance to kick in and that there would be a slight delay of a few weeks (which totaled about $200 that would be paid about 2 weeks late), then they IMMEDIATELY reported an entire month (over $400 [with no obligation to report anything under $1000]) as unpaid, despite having records that proved that to be untrue, which lowered my credit score by almost 40pts, which will end up costing me a total of up to $90,000 in APR over the next 30 years as I was just preparing to buy a house as soon as I started my new job, or potentially cost me the entire ability to have a house to leave to my 6 children as the only parent responsible enough to have a chance at that. There is no actual past due amount because the full amount has already been deducted from my unemployment insurance payments. Just an overzealous anti-father government theft agency doing their part to replace strong fathers with the state in order to forcefully indoctrinate our youth with their radical agenda once they render the father a weak figure with nothing to leave to their children.

If there is an organization that could be more useless and dysfunctional, with people empowered to…read moredo absolutely nothing to help a parent who is kind, provides everything asked for, and asks simple questions, I would say it is impossible. An organization that can, and does, screw up your life, and makes everything 10x more difficult than it needs to be. No idea how whoever runs this place is able to sleep at night, knowing how horrible they treat parents in Placer County. They constantly shift you to someone new, without letting you know. They ignore communication, don't return emails & phone calls, but expect you to provide everything instantly. If you are a young person and dream of having a useless career where you have the power to make the lives of the people in your community, who need your support and help, miserable, then this is the career for you!! No doubt there are some good people working here who try to be helpful. I've worked with a few. But the system, and the other workers who aren't helpful, and who do nothing to help, ruin it for those trying to do a good job. You can see many of the good ones leave because it's a horrible system, horrible processes, and incompetence abounds. SO DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!! Pity anyone forced to be here at the hand of a vengeful ex.
