They constantly make unnecessary mistakes delivering parcels. They scan into parcel locker then put key in wrong box. My daughter has had to put in her detective hat and contact neighbors to find the pkg whereabouts. That does always bring resolution. The scanners the usps use have gps on where the parcel was dropped off. I can see some errors but this is constant. I wouldn't trust my pkg to this location. read more

Every time I visit this location (or any USPS for that matter) the line is at least 15 people long. Theres never more than 2 people working the counter, and they just can't keep up with the amount of people that come in. I tried to use the ONE self service kiosk today (there was a line for that too) and it is wasn't working, so then I had to wait in a 45 minute line just to be told that their software is outdated, they can't scan my prepaid label, and I need to go to another post office. I NEVER go here if I can avoid it. Today I left in tears. Also, they told an old man in front of me that he would need to buy tape for his mailing label and when he said he didn't have any money on him, they said he would need to come back once he taped it. He needed to come back.... Over a penny's worth of tape. This place is worse than the DMV. read more

Our neighbors have taken to getting to getting together to exchange mis-delivered mail. I consistently get mail intended for others and I cringe to think how much of my private financial and medical related mail goes to other addresses. About half the time I get a package delivered, I get a notice that no one was home or the package was too large for my mailbox cluster and I have to go to the post office to pick it up. Even with tiny envelopes. And who lives at the mailbox cluster?? Lincoln post office delivery has been terrible for decades. They are not reliable on delivery and far too often can't deliver to the correct address. These are the bare minimum requirements for a business whose entire function is delivering items. read more

I have been to several different post offices around town throughout my life, but I have to say, this is one of the nicer places I have been to. It's spacious, clean and organized inside. It offers all the modern conveniences of getting your mail and packages to where they need to go.  Vending machines are available to purchase stamps, indoor mailing slots to drop off your letters; an outdoor drive thru mail box, a section is set aside to buy your mailing items in various sizes, etc. and of course, the main area where postal workers help customers with all their mailing needs. I initially would have given this office a much less than stellar rating, because my parents were having issues with not getting their mail delivered in a timely manner. Using the mail box system in their neighborhood of Sun City had questionable reassurances as to whether the letters they were sending through the out going mail slot were even getting collected by the postal carrier. My parents were getting informed by bill collectors that they were late on paying their bills. That's when we decided to forgo using the neighborhood mail boxes and drove to the post office directly to mail bills. Even then, mail still seemed to be delivered late. But things seem to have gotten better over the last few months, so I will give them an OK rating with hopes they have improved their system and are now up to the standards it's local citizens depend upon and expect. read more

One of the worst managed post office's I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing . I usually use the Newcastle California post office (Much better), but when I'm driving through Lincoln California - right past this post office that I'm dissatisfied with in Lincoln - I use this one in Lincoln. Every time I use this post office in stincoln,, I'm reminded why I tell myself " Go out of my way and use the Newcastle post office". Today (3/11/2024) I go in and the line is out the door (Literally) and I don't wonder why . It's because of the same two reasons the line is always slow moving. 1) the clerks, tellers, cashier's or customer service, whatever U want to call them are chatty and not concerned with keeping the line moving. Plus, they move as slow as possible, as if to subliminally say to the people waiting in line - we're not bothered by practical everyone in line frustrated with the lack of effort and urgency by us. Today it was two of the worst customer service people, Viola would be chit chatting with employees and customers while taking 5 to 10 minutes with each customer (No Urgency ). The other guy RAM - this guy kept looking at his watch and moving as slow as possible. 2) This little city called Lincoln has a sprawl of senior citizen homes that is BIGGER than anywhere I've ever seen, the mega Sprawl by the post office is called Sun City and Turkey Creek (Massive), the line at the post office was out the door and 98% of the people were senior citizens , Seniors want to chat and look at the stamp books etc. Bad scene here @200 Gateway Dr, Lincoln, CA 95648 RAM AND VIOLA read more

Called four times to ask about a bank of open mailboxes as I was waiting for an expensive Christmas present. Didn't know if the boxes had been broken into. So I finally called the police, wasting their time, and the PO did respond to the police inquiry saying the lock was broken. Yah, they NEVER answered my call. I realize it's a busy time. But really, four calls waiting on hold for approx 3 minutes each call before their system hung up on me??? read more

I came to return a package and they argued with me on not being able to send it because they don't work with amazon apparently. Anyway they were able to return it but returned it to my own house. I came in and said they sent it to the wrong place and the lady named viola and an indian guy argued with me saying I was in the wrong. They charged me for shipping AGAIN after calling me a liar. Worst experience, need better customer service and attitude was awful overall. As well as SUPER SLOW!!! read more

In our area there just isn't good post offices, nobody does Pass Ports, their really not set up for E-Commerce business but anything is better than using the Poorest Roseville Post office. I would have left 5 Stars but the hours of operation here are very limited, 12:00 closing on Saturday, Come on now. It's not 1950's. And the front entry doors use to be motion operated, that was good for the older customers Lincoln's use to having and for when you'r carrying in hand fulls of packages to mail. The front door of this post office is extremely unfriendly to anyone carrying packages, the elderly, or the disabled. God forbid you're an older disabled person using a walker and need to mail a package. Why not have a single, motion activated sliding door like all grocery stores installed in the 1970s? Lincoln is 50 years behind the times. If you can manage getting inside without further disabling yourself, the workers are generally helpful and expedient. read more

This post office is so jumbled up. They have lost a lot of packages or have delivered them to different address before. And when you go in chances are you are going to be rudely served. My wife came to mail some certified letters for work and had received a call and was told by the lady with short hair to end her call or leave the line until done. I understand that it's rude to be on the phone while interacting with people. But not asking or just telling someone to end the call or to leave the post office is unacceptable. Great location in the center of town. I came in to do my holiday shipping before 5pm, their closing time and only a handful of people! There were only three ahead of me and I had three packages to ship international, I didn't have the customs forms filled out so I had to get out of line an fill them out. After filling out the forms, I ended up paying $50 for three packages(each package weighing 1lb each). There's never a long wait here and the building is a few years old. There are nice drive thru mailboxes located outside and drop off mailboxes located inside the office. There are plenty of P.O. boxes located inside. read more

Postal workers in the building are nice and efficient here. My only complaint is our community mail box is often comprised, broken in to. Keys are stolen from the parcel boxes and mail and packages are stolen. I understand the fact there are obviously thieves breaking into our mailboxes and is not the post offices fault however, the lack of attention to repair the mailboxes is very poor. Our mail was being held also without any notification. Stolen keys happen frequently and appears repair of the mailboxes is not high on their list of priorities. We are considering renting a P.O. Box. Great, just what I need, another bill each month for the rental of a post office box simply because our postal service is substandard. read more

I have been frequenting this Post Office quite a bit since I have been selling on ebay. Shipping is a hassle. I had no idea how much of a hassle it could really be. Fortunately the ladies here were very informed and willing to help me navigate thru it all. They were patient with my stupid questions and helped me find the most economical way to send the items I had to send and taught me about the different restrictions and the processing which has a huge effect on the actually shipping options and cost. Had it not been for these ladies I would have said screw it and not even BOTHERED to TRY and ship all these little packages. They have shipping supplies for sale there as well and as expected several different denomination of stamps. The shipping supplies are a little pricey but that is coming from me the guy who didn't know how to ship something that was not a letter or a big box. Considering the convenience it is reasonably priced. Just not cheap. There are also money orders that can be purchased here for a reasonable price. $.85 I think. A lot cheaper than the bank. That I do know. I recommend this post office for your postal needs. I will be back. read more

I had a vendor ship me a package with the wrong address through UPS with delivery through the Lincoln Ca post office. The courier could not deliver the package because the address did not exist. UPS sent me a message saying it could not be delivered and the package was being returned to sender(Florida). I sent a message to my local post office giving them the correct address. A couple hours later, a person from the post office called, got the right address, and said she would contact the courier and have him deliver the package. Soon after, the courier, Julio, knocked on the door with the package. This service was unexpected and way above and beyond. They are the best and I wish I could find out how to send a commendation letter to their manager because they deserve recognition for what they did!!!!! read more

Worst service I have ever seen! In the last 4 weeks they returned 3 packages because they "are unable to locate recipient." My address is correct and my business name is on two sides of the building. Yesterday they said that they tried to deliver at 8:35am. Where? I was here and open for business from 5am to 2pm. I will call the local branch when they open and let them know that I really do exist and they need to stop returning my mail. read more

I went there a couple days ago to have a box shipped over seas and was confused by the whole process. An employee named Kylee went above and beyond. She not only walked me through the steps but even helped me with all the important details. I was so happy with her service I ended walking out and leaving behind some items that didn't fit. Beautiful area. Nice post office. But staff is polarized and has anti mask wearing employees who talk loudly to extremists while everyone else is following the rules and being safe. I'll be going somewhere else or using the drop off only. Sad that the coworkers have to risk their safety. The one gentleman who helped me was very nice and wore a mask. But half the people in line didn't, and nobody said anything. Meanwhile staff lets customers gossip loudly about politics and conspiracy theories while not wearing masks. I don't feel safe bringing my unvaccinated kids (who aren't eligible) here. read more

I have lived in Lincoln for the past 10 years. During that time I've had exceptional service from all of the postal workers. My local carrier Bill is absolutely awesome. Hugo way to make sure my packages are delivered safely and if no signature is required he make sure that they are put in a place where no one from the street can see them. Melody and Michael in the local post office are great as well I've mailed quite a few things out over the years here and have nothing but great things to say about all the employees and the service they provide. My favorite post office I've visited in a while. It's so clean, so easy to navigate, and such friendly staff. They always have a good amount of staff working so the wait isn't every terribly long. I'm always so grateful for the amazing customer service I get here. They have the usual options for mailing packages, envelopes, a few cards, and colorful bubble packs. They always ensure everything is fully stocked. Parking can be a little tight here, but usually the turnover is pretty quick because the staff are so good. Beware the glass windows, it seems they are always getting hit by cars and poor kids who just run face first into them.... Maybe they could benefit from some etching or decals! read more

This is a very nice convenient location this took me not even five minutes to get to you very close to my house this is a smaller post office that comes in handy for the little things you need to send out they even sell boxes and envelopes here if you forgot them at home this is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere very friendly staff very helpful They even have PO boxes here for people that receive their mail over here they have several different postage envelopes and different boxes they also sell postage stamps here they have several different stamps to choose from this is the only post office in Lincoln it is very easy to find they have several employees working to help get the lines down quickly so you aren't waiting a long time in line which I appreciate the effort to get the customers in and out I highly recommend this United States post office for anyone needing to mail off items or to get postage stamps I will definitely be coming back here again soon for more great customer services and More great postal services to come thank you so much read more

Best experience ever! Derrick who is the Post Master was exceptional in helping me with an issue involving Primary Forwarding from an out of town post office to Lincoln, CA. He answered the phone, addressed my issues and followed up! I am so very grateful! Also, I love that the Lincoln Post Office has automatic doors so when you are carrying heavy packages or just not wanting to open another heavy door you can easily make your way in and out. Friendly staff and I usually don't wait too long when I need the counter. I would appreciate more self service options. Like a station to weigh and print postage so I don't even have to go to the counter. Not sure why there's no self-service or stamp vending stuff at this location. Horrible lost my package for a month! Supervisor lady refused to refund or credit my $25.00 I paid on 12/18/15 to go to TX.... Package showed up 1/12/16! Instead of Merry Christmas to my nephews it was Happy Chinese New Year! I will never mail USPS again for Christmas if this is how I'm treated! read more

Great service and a very nice modern building. Unfortunately the aforementioned automatic doors, which virtually all similarly sized businesses have these days, are no longer functioning and "can't be fixed" according to the staff. Any other business with broken doors has them fixed in a day. This in a community where close to 25% of their customer base are elderly and often visibly infirm. They have been able to build a new glass outer wall, install automatic postage machines and have advertised a new drive through window since the date the doors broke and "can't be fixed". read more

Had a package recorded as delivered. Went in to check on it, as it was not on my porch. Wrote tracking and address for the clerk. Clerk checked, brought back a piece of paper with a map stating the mailman did deliver it to the wrong house. I was supposed to receive a phone call the following day with more information about the carrier retrieving my package and delivering it properly. No phone call. Went back in to recheck.. the manager came out to let me know that it WAS delivered to the correct address, even though the map from the previous visit specified that the postal worker dropped it at the wrong location. She stated that the mailman "said he scanned your neighbors' house then walked back next door and put it on your porch." She stated she "spoke to him," and has to "go with what (her) carrier says." Unfortunately for their lying asses the map I was shown previously did not have my neighbors house as the one he scanned and dropped packaged. I asked for the map that I was shown previously, as the clerk had kept it my visit prior. The manager refused to provide me with the map even though I had already been shown it days prior. Also refused to provide any information about a higher up employee I may be able to speak with. Really appeared as someone just trying to not take responsibilities for their actions or hold themselves/people under them accountable for their mistakes. Sad, pathetic, and unprofessional to say the least. read more

Awesome! Everything from the happy employees always willing to help to ample parking and even overflow on the street during Christmas season. The modern state of the art building is a plus with it's automatic doors so you don't have to touch any germs and can enter carrying all your packages. Can't say enough good about this particular post office. We came from a town that was just the opposite. Lincolnites you really have it good here! Print your own labels at home, don't stand in line. There is a drop box or just put your packages on the counter if they are oversized. read more

Agree with previous comments.. always getting mail that has people's names I don't even know. Got a Netflix movie for a lady on the next street over (luckily I'm a nice enough person to walk over and give it to her). Didn't receive my son's social security card in the mail and when I called and told them, they said it was probably just because his name isn't on the box.... I always get mail with other names on it?! How is this even possible?! I received my daughter's social who was born just a couple years earlier just fine!! I've seen mail outside the boxes on neighbors front yard. Just awful!! They really need to get it together!!! read more
