I would not recommend this shop, especially if you own a diesel truck…read more I brought my 2005 Ford 6.0 Powerstroke in for repairs and was charged for replacing an up-pipe clamp. After the truck continued having the same P0299 underboost issue, I took it to another diesel shop for a second opinion. The second shop found that the up-pipe is cracked and the VGT turbo vanes are sticking. I also have photos showing that the clamp I was billed to have replaced appears untouched. Based on the invoice, the condition of the parts, and my photo evidence, I have serious concerns about whether the repair I paid for was actually completed. Beyond the repair itself, the customer service was very disappointing. Communication was poor, my concerns were not taken seriously, and I left without confidence that my truck had been properly diagnosed or repaired. After my experience, I do not believe this shop is equipped to accurately diagnose or repair more complex diesel issues like those found on a 6.0 Powerstroke. If you're considering bringing your diesel here, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion, asking for before-and-after photos of any repairs, and requesting your old parts back. My experience today with J&J has left me feeling great, happy, and lucky to have chosen to interact with them. I had a mishap last night in a parking lot that left two parts of my right front fender separated by several inches. There wasn't much damage to the metal, but it definitely couldn't be left the way it was. I drove to J&J without an appointment, and Nick came out to check it out. He told me that it could be put back together, and they could try to buff out the scrapes as much as possible, and it would take an hour and be about $250. He told me that as an alternative, they could get new pieces and completely reconstruct the fender for about $1,400. Nick and I agreed that the more expensive option didn't make sense for my 2019 Santa Fe. He had someone who could work on it if I wanted to wait in the waiting room for an hour. Soon after Nick took the car inside, he came out to the waiting room to tell me it wasn't going to take as long as he first thought, so it would be closer to $200. Since I had prepared myself for the higher amount, that sounded great. 15 minutes later, Nick came out to tell me they were able to get it done quickly, the car was outside, and there would be no charge. No charge! I was ready to spend $250, yet this amazing company decided that for what they had to do, there would be no charge. And the repair they did looks terrific! You really have to look up close to see anything at all. Who does that? To say that I highly recommend J&J for any and all body work is an understatement. Their talent, their honesty, and their integrity is hard to find in the business world. I will be telling all my friends and family about J&J, and I can tell you that if you ever need their services, you don't have to look any further than J&J in Roseville.
