I chose Elite Auto Spa on the basis of it's reviews. They were all awesome. Dave's game is professionalism and customer service. My needs seemed small, but were HUGE to me. These are seats from my baby, a 1974 VW bug I purchased new in December 1973. I had two cloth upholstered auto seats that were 25 years old and filthy! I attempted to clean them and made even more of a mess. Dave gave me a very reasonable estimate - which he stuck to. I was VERY IMPRESSED with the work and quickness. Dave treated me and my 'small job' like a VIP - just like it was a big job. He also has an awesome super friendly pooch - "Charlie" - she's a charmer. I'd highly recommend him to anyone who cares about quality. I don't think you can do much better than choosing Elite Auto Spa for your auto needs. read more

Dave personally removed a very dark tint on the back window and a poor job done on the windshield of a used car we bought. The tint came off but the glue remained and was very difficult to remove without damaging the defrost lines. Dave had to spend a lot more time than he expected and predicted. but he hung in there much past closing time to get the car back to us. He charged the original price he quoted even though the job was more time consuming. We have been to him before over the past 5 years and his crew has always done good work. We are happy to give him 5 stars and recommend Dave to anyone we talk to. And my golf buddy echoed my endorsement as well saying Dave is top notch. read more

The owner is very nice, but the cost was really steep. I was originally quoted 250 over the phone for a full detail (inside and out) which I was happy to pay. Then as I was leaving from dropping off my car he mentioned that that only covered the interior of the car. (Which was not very dirty I deep clean it once a week) I picked up my car and there are two dots of sticky residue on the inside of my windshield, and little bits of fuzz all over my dash. I also rode in the back seat and noticed they didn't even clean my backseat window. My daughter is two and touches it so it was easy to see. I just 100% feel I didn't get my money's worth at all. Had I known from the beginning it would be $250 for just the inside of my car I would have just taken it to a regular car wash and gotten the same interior result and also the exterior of my car cleaned for half the price. read more

I was nervous to try a different detail shop, but after speaking to the owner, he sold me with how passionate and informative he was about the detailing process. Dave was great! Fantastic customer service, did a thorough job on my car and all around nice guy. I brought in a car that had been smoked in for the last 6 years. It stank and it was filthy inside and out because the previous owner didn't care about such things, I guess. Dave gave me a quote for cost and days to get the job done. I was able to leave the car which made it easier for Dave to work on throughout the week. Five days later I call to ask if he could remove some sun shade things that were over the front windows. Dave agreed, gave me the price and we set up a pick up time for two days later. I had a small time window that I was available, but Dave wasn't phased by this. Right on time Dave calls to tell me my car is done. I run down there to find a whole new car! She is shiny and bright. The inside was spotless. The best part...IT WAS SMOKE FREE!!!! Dave reminded me that the cabin filter would need to be changed so that the air wouldn't blow out stinky smoke smell. I had thought about this previously, but it was nice to have the reminder. Being new to Auburn, I used Yelp to help me find a good auto detailer. I have a 2003 Tundra which is probably the worst Dave has seen (he says not). But this truck has been through 14 years and 247K miles of deserts, mountains, mud, snow, camping, construction work, and numerous dogs. It has never had a thorough detail, so it was literally filthy, especially since it has fabric seats and carpet. But it's been an excellent truck, so we're keeping it. Anyway, I've had my car detailed at car washes and they've always returned it in a day with wet upholstery. Dave explained that he does not do that. He requires that the vehicle be left for a few days, until dry. He also quoted me a price of less than $500, which seemed fair after he described how he removes the seats, floor carpeting, etc. I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw the finished product! The interior looked absolutely brand new! Stains that I thought were permanent, were gone and not a dog hair to be found! There wasn't a spec of dirt or dust on the instrument panel, doors, etc. And for a small additional charge, he removed that gray, foggy film that was covering the headlights. SO much better! The bottom line...don't know when I've gotten a better value for the money! Dave is excellent! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I brought my 4Runner into Elite Auto repair after calling in regards to a full detail. I had to explain that someone got sick in my car and after all attempts to clean and remove the odor, I wasn't able to get rid of it. I was quoted $300 for the full detail, and I appreciated that he made room in his schedule to take my car on the following day. When my Mom dropped it off she was informed that the price would be $360, instead of the initial quote of $300. She asked if that would cover everything and he replied, " Yes". After confirming with me the price increase was OK, she left my car. The following day I was extremely shocked when I arrived to pick it up and the outside was still dirty. I asked if my 4Runner was done and he replied, " Yes". I said the outside isn't touched and he replied I only quoted you for an interior detail. This was NEVER stated to me or my mom who dropped my vehicle off. He even had the gall to say he was a "fast talker" and I must have missed that detail. I was appalled that he continued to lie to me and deflect what really was agreed upon. He will NEVER have my business again and I would NEVER recommend Elite Auto Spa to anyone. read more
