    I recently brought my Toyota 4Runner to Placentia Super Service for an oil change and had a great experience from start to finish. Joe at the front desk was welcoming, professional, and made the whole process easy. He answered my questions clearly and there was no pressure or unnecessary upselling. The owner, Bob, responded quickly to my inquiry, which I really appreciated. The price quoted was affordable and fair, especially for the quality of service provided. They also patched one of my tires at no charge while doing the oil change -- that kind of customer care really stands out. It's not often you find a shop willing to go the extra mile like that. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, stocked with bars, popcorn, coffee, sodas, and water. Even the bathroom was very clean, which says a lot about how they run their business. Service was completed in a timely manner, and my 4Runner is running great. I left feeling confident and well taken care of. I highly recommend Placentia Super Service and will definitely be back for future maintenance.

    I got new tires from Costco and was referred here for an alignment. After the service, my steering wheel was off and pulling to the right, so I had to call and come back to get it fixed. I wasn't happy about needing a second visit for something that should've been done correctly the first time, but they did fix the issue when I returned. The waiting area is clean and comfortable, with snacks and drinks available. There's also a window to watch the technicians working. Overall, the service was good. In terms of price range it was about $180 for the alignment. I appreciate Ricky and Korean guy forgot his name but appreciate both of their help!

    Paul was super helpful and friendly. He was very efficient and able to get me what I needed. Very honest place and they are very straight forward with anything that they will do on your car. I reccomend this place to anyone debating on coming. The value is well worth it for what you pay and they go above and beyond to help.

Since my truck was out of warranty, I wasn't sure where to turn. I reached out through Yelp and heard back from Ed almost immediately. He had a good idea of what might be wrong and invited me to bring the truck in for an assessment. After inspecting it, he identified damage (caused by rats) to the transmission wiring harness, which had unfortunately caused internal damage. He walked me through everything clearly and provided a very reasonable estimate for a full rebuild. Throughout the entire process, Ed was easy to communicate with, always professional, and genuinely helpful with his advice. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond after the repair. I was told this type damage might be covered under my comprehensive auto insurance. Ed then took the time to work directly with my insurance company--providing detailed documentation and expert insight. Because of his effort and experience, the claim was approved and the repair ended up being fully covered. That level of service is rare these days. I truly appreciate Ed's honesty, professionalism, and follow-through. He did exactly what he said he would do and then some. I wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend him to anyone in need of transmission work.

I was hoping it just needed a Freon recharge. After checking the A/C system, Frank confirmed that the Freon was just low and everything else looked good. Luckily, her older car uses the newer, less expensive Freon. I just hung out while he recharged the system, and it was ready to go about 20 minutes later. The cost was only $150, money well spent to get ice cold air conditioning back. The most recent visit was to troubleshoot a service error code and ABS and brake warning lights. I was hoping this would just be a sensor on one of the wheels, but Frank said it looked like the main ABS ECU unit was faulty. Given the potential cost of the repair, it didn't make sense given the value of the car. I appreciated his honest opinion. He said there was no charge, but I still tipped him for his time because he always takes great care of me. I have tried a few other shops in the area over the years, and had initial good experiences. However, they all eventually gave me an estimate I knew as wrong, or didn't do work they said they did. I've been going to Frank ever since, and trust him 100%. I spent some time on Yelp reading reviews for several transmission shops before deciding to call Transmission Masters. One of the reasons I chose them was because they've been in business for more than 48 years and had consistently great reviews. I also like reading the one-star reviews because, let's be honest, you really can't please everyone. I just wanted to find an honest and trustworthy shop. I called and spoke with Ron right before closing time. He took the time to listen to everything I was experiencing, explained what he thought the issue could be, and told me to bring the van in the next morning. Their shop opens at 8:00 AM, but when I arrived around 7:45 AM, they were already there working on vehicles. When I walked in, Ron remembered our conversation from the previous day, which immediately made me feel comfortable. He scanned my van but didn't notice anything unusual. He reset my ECM and another setting, and thankfully that solved the problem. What impressed me the most was that Ron didn't charge me a dime for his time or help, even though I genuinely wanted to give him something for helping me out. I drove all the way from Disneyland back home to Northern California without a single issue afterward. Long story short, they said it was possibly the valve body that need to be replaced and quoted my 1400 to do so. In fact, they said they had to get the part from the dealer and it was non refundable if that wasn't the cause! A quick search brought me to Transmission Masters and after speaking with Ron I decided to have it towed to his shop. It was the right move! It turned out that the valve body needed to be cleaned and the check balls replaced. He completed the work in a few hours and charged me a heck of a lot less of what I was quoted. What an honest man! Shout out to Louis as well. Ron, you will always have my business and telling everyone I know to come see you!

I found Francis through an online search because of the many positive reviews, and during our first interaction he was friendly, professional, and seemed very knowledgeable. He ordered the part directly from Acura and quoted me a fair price. My car was ready the following day, but when I arrived to pick it up, Francis informed me that my vehicle had been involved in an accident while in his care. He explained that another driver had been speeding through the parking lot and crashed into him. He gave me the other driver's information, and I contacted him immediately. The other driver gave a very different version of events. He stated that he was backing out of a parking space and did not see Francis. He also told me that Francis provided his driver's license information but refused to share insurance information. Now, more than a month later, I still have a damaged vehicle and have not received insurance information from Francis despite multiple phone calls, text messages, and outreach from Mercury Insurance. I trusted this shop to take care of my car, not return it to me in worse condition and leave me responsible for a $500 deductible. What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability and urgency. Francis acted as though this situation was not a major concern and repeatedly assured me that the other driver would "take care of it," which has not happened. According to the other driver, Francis even asked him to change the story about what happened. I chose this business because of its strong reviews and the image Francis presents, but my experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing. I believe customers deserve honesty, transparency, and responsibility when their vehicle is in someone else's care.
