SUPER EXPENSIVE !!!! The Super stands for just that super expensive super pushy and super long list of things they try make you buy. The guys here are trained to be nice but they hit you hard with top prices and try to over sell you. I went in for a oil change and ran out they tried to over sell me the pushy sales are super aggressive. Super warning this place is nice but they will suck you dry I had to say no like 3 times and they kept pushing so very pushy!!! read more

My mini countrymen service lights remind me to do service for engine and brake. I searched on map and found Placentia Super Service, I didn't try before but would like to have a try because it is close to me. I sent the car in morning and I have time so hang out in their waiting room which is equipped with air con, tv, bottle water and snacks. Finally they have a full check up with detailed report of somewhere that I didn't find problem before. They had changed engine oil and brake fluid, price was resonable. I was happy they found others problem too but I didn't handle it maybe next time. By the way I had a good experience with them, they used a German oil which was best fit to my car, I felt it was more powerful and faster reponse than I ever had! Recommended! read more

Awesome service. Rodents did eat my wires on my 2018 Ram. And car could limp only. Dodge service in Irvine said it will take 3 weeks to even start and also have to put in the whole cable systems which will be very, very expensive. Instead of waiting 3 weeks and spending a fortune I asked Paul from Placentia Super Service He did start the same day and fixed the broken cables and saved me a huge amount of $ and time. This place is outstanding! I would rate them very highly for customer service (thanks, Dion), cleanliness, and efficiency. I recently took my 2006 Honda Civic in for a number of different repairs, and not only did they text me in advance a list of all the estimated repairs and how much they would cost, but they also sent me photographs of everything that needed to be fixed, as well as short videos explaining what each of the parts did in the operation of the car! I came in to get brake squealing issue resolved. Quoted price is about average or better than dealership. Based off high rated yelp reviews and quicker replies and walkin option I took a chance on a weekday. They did a 60 point inspection. Recommended some mileage based routine services and estimates which are average or better. Everything is sent via text with photos of issues. Although declined some non urgent services due to time. If trust in your mechanic is what your looking for DONT GO HERE ! My sons truck had a transmission leak and brought it here. Spoke to Gilbert (who got canned due to this aparrently) and he said its either seals or torque converter, the vehicle is used but 1 month old for us and we stated clearly we wanted to inspect the torque converter to possibly get previous dealership to help with repair. They guaranteed us that they take extensive pictures and would call before repair amd allow us to inspect the part. No call no pictures sent and we call and the repair is finished. We drive down and they have already gotten rid of the part. No pictures no videos like they promise when arriving just a $4500 bill. They tell us Gilbert no longer works for the company and cant provide anything. We have a dash cam that shows the truck being on a lift for 45 minutes not enough time to change a torque converter. We go down and talk to the district manager who says all he can do is go to the distributor and get the torque converter. Then he tries to charge a core charge to get the thing trying to make it difficult for us to Inspect it. I tell him we wanted to inspect the thing before the repair like we agreed and how would we know if that's even the same torque converter or if theres a new part in the vehicle. Also the truck had a rattle after picking it up and during this discussion they were inspecting it. Because of the disagreement the gm had them stop in the middle of Inspection for the rattle and made us leave without the part or the rattle fixed. Beware people once they have your money they won't honor work or even show you the broken part which is california law. We now have to have the vehicle get inspected at another shop and file with BAR to file a complaint and small claims I guess. Beware ! -REPLY the time to inspect was before the repair took place which is the law like promised so we could authorize the correct repair. Being 3 days post repair any torque converter you get back from your distributor days after you got rid of it knowing I wanted to inspect it wouldnt work since theres no way to prove that's our part. Terrible service. Fired his employee to save his company from this in future but does nothing for the customer that got screwed over. read more

I took my father in law's car here because it was the only garage open around the holidays. I agreed to pay for a repair that they charged 3x more than what my regular mechanic later told me he would have done it for. When I picked up the car, they told me that my father in law's thermostat housing was cracked and it was "gushing" coolant. They said the radiator was seeping too. The sales guy said I would be losing coolant so fast that the car was likely to overheat and he was pressuring me hard to get this fixed. I checked under the car and saw no coolant puddle, so we declined to have them do the service. I followed my dad home and nothing was leaking. I took the car to my mechanic. He said there was some dried coolant from when he replaced the thermostat (months ago) but the new thermostat came with new housing and there was nothing leaking or "gushing". The radiator was fine too. I had told Placentia Super Service that we had the thermostat replaced recently but he insisted that this was a current problem and to ignore the service would be to our peril. I think there's only two ways of interpreting this incident. Either the "salesman" was being a heartless thief or he didn't know what the heck he was talking about. If we had listened to him my father in law would have been out a crap load of money. Never coming back here again even if it's the only garage open around the holidays. read more

We went in for front brake shake. Was giving a $2,500 estimate that didn't even include the brake work. They didn't even road-test the vehicle to feel our concerns. Needless to say we did not get work done there. We went to PepBoys $300 dollars we had new rotors and pads and wouldn't you know it the front brake shake is completely gone. Never will I ever send someone to Placentia Super Service they do not listen to the customers needs or concerns! read more

Needed new lower ball joints on my 2011 Ford Ranger. Gilbert had my truck inspected by Jessie, and found I also needed upper and lower control arm bushings, and an alignment. All work was done quickly and professionally at a very fair price. I'm very impressed by the great attitudes of Gilbert, Jessie, and all others I met at the facility. First time I came in to fix taillights and they had me in and out in 10 minutes! Yesterday I called them because I needed a new car battery and I couldn't wait until the next day because I would need to have someone jump my car again. This is one of those shops where you get what you pay for. Customer service is great. I had Ricky as my primary contact. I came in for an oil change and an inspection. They identified what issues the car was having, and they named their price and fixed it. If you are looking for quality work this place is right for you. However, be ready to pay a premium for that service. Walked out paying $2,500 to fix the car, and I only planned to pay $90 for an oil change and inspection. Based on the invoice, parts was not the reason for the high price it was the labor they charge. At least I got a T-shirt at the end of it. Good service, but they are expensive. read more
