Spent the day in the LBC and found this place while yelping nearby places in the downtown area. My dog was with me, so I thought it would be a nice break for us. Parking wasn't a problem, parked on Linden Ave. There weren't meters in front of some spots, which was great. We were greeted with barks from all of the yappy dogs there for pet sitting. The ladies inside were having their lunch. To be honest it was a bit overwhelming for my dog, so he waited outside even though it was hot. The store is pretty small, but enough room for doggies to run, jump and be happy with the cushions and areas by the window. The display for the homemade cookies was decent, though I was a bit disappointed to find out that all of the selection was made with regular flour plus the ingredients listed like peanut butter, carrot, zucchini, apple, etc. After the owner explained ingredients to me for a few minutes, I tell her about my dogs allergies so we opted to try only treat made with rice flour, which is stored in the freezer. She showed me a cookie that was crescent shaped and said it was made with carrot; price was $2.75 for five pieces. After I paid, I realized that in a crescent, there are 3 "pieces" meaning I paid $3 after tax for five "pieces" of a crescent shaped cookie (see picture). When the cookies defrosted, I fed some to my dog and discovered that the cookies were mainly flour with a few bits of carrot and something else (probably zucchini). I was only told about two ingredients, rice flour and carrot, but what if my dog was allergic to zucchini? Thankfully my dog isn't.... Pros *Parking can be free (just need to find parking without meters) *They take credit card, even on small purchases Cons *Not the best place to have a social gathering with you dogs *Area for dogs not as clean as I would like my pet to be playing I probably wouldn't come out of my way to come back to this store, but I would stop by without my dog if I happen to be in the area. read more

They technically don't have cakes just for cats, they have one type of cake made for both dogs and cats. She told me that dogs like the cake but she wasn't too sure about cats since she doesn't have a taste tester lol. Cakes are made of berries and decorated with mashed potatoes. You're able to choose the color and shape/size. Prices start at $15. I have a small cat so she didn't finish the whole thing. It was a last minute order, I came in the morning (around 8am) and was able to come back and pick up the cake by 12 noon. Owner was very nice and understanding. I would definitely recommend per-ordering a cake next time though to make it easier on her. The cake itself looked delicious, although the frosting comes off pretty easily once the cake is cut. I called a few times to see if I could order a cake for my dog's bday, but the owner said just to come in around 5pm to pick up one. I thought this meant they had a lot of hand, but this is not the case. I ended up swinging by on the day we were celebrating and they didn't have anything, so I just got a cookie which was disappointing.
