My wife and I I have been using Pet Waggin to take care of our kitties when go out of town. The care is amazing! If we are gone more than a day we usually have them come visit twice a day, morning and evening. Unfortunately for them, we have a list of things to check when they visit, which we have all written down on a sheet posted in the kitchen for them. Each visit they clean the litter boxes (2) fill their dry food bowls, change the water and give them treats. Besides our critters we ask them to put outside some walnuts for the squirrels and the birds. The best part of it all is that they send us a report of the visit with photos of each of the fur balls. They don't always pose but they always figure out how to snap a picture, even under the bed sometimes. Their team is very qualified and has even helped us with giving medication. He is afraid of his own shadow..she has helped him tremendously to the point where I think he just might like going on walks now. The whole process was so personal and tailored to my needs, and I was able to leave knowing that my cat would be in good hands. It's very easy to get set up in their system and they have you input tons of information (including their microchip number) so that they're properly prepared to care for your pet in any situation that might arise. They schedule a meet and greet for your pet's sitter to meet the pet and come by the house to ask any questions while you're there. Lanie was so kind and gentle with my cat and my cat took to her right away. This really is a full service shop. They can take your pets for walks while you're at work or care for them while you go out of town. I liked that their out of town service includes checking on the house, getting the mail, etc. They use the Time to Pet app for communication which was so handy with keeping everything in one place and Lanie sent me a recap and tons of photos of my girl each day. Unfortunately they left me high and dry! I filled out their online form to reserve a cat sitting on July 15 and received an appointment for July 23 to discuss my needs. I was a little nervous that this was a week and a half later, but trusted that Pet Waggin' would come through. I have been watching this company for a while and hoped to later book them for dog walking and sitting too when I needed it. When I finally received the call, it turned out that they couldn't come at the times that I needed. Not ideal, but I was willing to change around the dates and times a bit. Then I suggested (in a friendly way) that to avoid misunderstandings like this they might want to change their intake form to include a section where new clients can fill in details about specific times for visits. The response? In a cold voice, "I don't think we'll be a good fit." Now I have only 5 days to find someone to take care of my cat! I see other reviews on here about the owner's lack of customer service ethic and this inability to accept constructive criticism falls right in line with that. read more

Their service has always been excellent, but now it's gone up to another level since they've started using the Time To Pet website and app. You input all your data about your pets and your home, so that everyone is working from the same info at all times. Best of all, all the communication happens within the app, which means there is a record of all the messages and pictures that you exchange with the service--so much better than texting! We got to use it for the first time last week when we finally got to go out of town for a long weekend and I loved it! You get a notification when the sitter starts the service, and they send a little summary with pics at the end of the visit to let you know how your pets are doing. All the sitters are so caring and professional; I feel more confident in their service than ever. Max and Brenda have gotten to know my dogs well, and gear walks/enrichment towards what they need and where they are in their training. Sassy was 5 months old when they started walking her. No walking "experience" or training per se, but with their patience and training experience they have helped her to be better walking on a leash, as well as helped her potty training (did you know Schnauzers are ridiculously stubborn?). Now that she's a little older, they reinforce training I'm doing in the home. Having her "sit" and "down" and other manners that help to keep the dogs safe and owners sane. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are reasonably priced, and go above and beyond. I haven't even mentioned that they fill the girls water bowl and bring in any packages that may have been left out. And I LOVE the lovely pics and reports they give after every walk. Easy scheduling system, highly communicative, and easy invoicing with tipping options. This is a women owned, small business who is highly involved in her community. We first reached out for our first pup, Bruce to have outings while we were away at work in, I think 2018. She did a meet n greet and brought him into her pack. I most appreciated that she treated him like one of her own and we left him in her care multiple times when going out of town. He loved his pack friends and always came home exhausted from his outing. Bruce passed away in an accident and it was hard on all of us. Fast forward to 2022 and we now have two doodles. Mary Ellen picks up my two doodles on Wednesdays and whisks them off to the park. She's incredibly patient as they both are high energy pups and have taken to jumping on her when she arrives. We're working on this. Winnie is also very vocal and I have waited for Mary Ellen to tell me she couldn't take Winnie anymore because of her constant barking especially when in the pup bus but she hasn't given up on her.
