I love the pub concept. Sadly the owners here don't think outside the traditional box, preferring to offer a pre-WW2 English pub experience, regardless of Harry Kane!

I have eaten here several times with little issues however todays lunchtime experience left me disappointed. Firstly, the hostess is never in a good mood seemingly. Not very friendly. The waitstaff has always been very friendly however. Today I went with a friend. He wanted a Reuben and I remember having one here that was very good so we decided on going here. He got the Reuben and I got the Sweet Ruth. My fries were not cold or soggy but were dry and warm. My corn beef was plentiful but very chewy and tough. My friends soup was half cold, half hot. He had the same problem with the corned beef on his sandwich. Tough and chewy. We both agreed the bread was also chewy but not in a good way. We did not raise the issues with the restaurant so they weren't given a chance to correct/refund to be fair. Overall it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either. read more

I had heard so much about this place from friends, I had to try it out for myself. I typically don't get to Superior very often, but thought I'd make the trek yesterday for lunch. Doug's did not disappoint. I was surprised to see just one server and one young man in the kitchen, as it was quite crowded. But these two had good service down to a science! The water cups were huge, which was a huge bonus for me - I'm a thirsty guy. The menu showcased some really interesting offerings (like a burger with peanut butter and jelly) but they also had great standard fare as well. The Sharon Omelette was delicious and the griddle biscuits should NOT BE MISSED. I hope this place stays around a long time. I will definitely be back. read more

Only open for breakfast and brunch and it is packed! Huge portion sizes that could easily feed three people separately. The food has been excellent every time I have gone there and for someone like me who prefers lunch food to breakfast food, it is great to have options. Only issue is that it takes a long time to do anything there, order, get your food, pay for your bill, etc. Food makes it worth it but don't come here when you are on a time crunch. read more

Went in with my family a couple days ago for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Service was good, reasonably priced, big portions and our food was fabulous!! Fresh tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, hash browns cooked a little crispy, country gravy actually had taste, fresh fresh fresh (something that is hard to come by these days). This place is great. Perfect breakfast comfort food. I don't know why so many places in CO have trouble just delivering warm food that is simple and good for breakfast.
