Pizza and beer under one roof - what's not to love!? Dark Sky and Pizzicletta are two separate businesses, but they are run under the same roof. At the tables, there are two sets of QR codes with their different menus. You will have two waiters and receive two checks; it sounds weird but they run a smooth operation so it doesn't feel strange at all. We stopped by after finishing a hike and were in the mood for food (aka - hungry!); we got the Bee's Knees (spicy sausage, mascarpone, hot honey, and sage) and the Bacon & Shallot pizza. Both were outstanding! The space is really big inside with bar seating, and high-top and regular tables; the pizza oven is also inside. We sat on the back patio which had 6-8 tables, but be warned that there is very limited shade. Lastly, they do not have a parking lot, but you can snag metered street parking easily. read more

This place is inside Dark Sky brewery. I love pizza and this place doesn't disappoint. We got the funghi, special that day (don't remember the flavors but it was more cheesey, and bacon and shallots). I would rate my favorite in that order, but honestly bacon and shallots was still very good. Grab a cold beer from Dark Sky and eat it with a good slice of pizza while you're at it! read more

My friends and I have been to Pizzicletta in Dark Sky Brewing twice now, and each time it was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best pizza I have ever eaten. We got the Bees Knees and Funghi the first time. The second time we tried the Bacon & Shallot and the Margarita. Bees Knees and Funghi are a MUST. If you like mushrooms, the Funghi is to die for. Additionally the Caesar salad is very good - like VERY good. Service has always been very friendly and attentive. If you're a beer drinker this place will be heaven for you. After taking a stroll around flagstaff this cute pizza shop caught our eye. Turns out it's a brewery called Dark Sky Brewing and pizza shop all in one building! Nothing goes better together ;) We seemed to come right when they were opening as there was a big group of people standing outside waiting for them to open. We decided to sit on the patio as it was a nice day. Since there are two different restaurants we had two different waiters which was a little confusing at first. However both were very nice and had great recommendations! The beer was great! I ordered a a sour and it was one of the best I've had! The pizza had a nice crispy crust and the sauce to topping ratio was perfect. They have a verity of fun toppings that you don't see at your normal pizza place! A tiny little place with the best pizza in town! There's very limited seating inside and some outside so be prepared to wait or put your name down and go walk around town a bit. There's no reservations but it's worth waiting for! We started with the buratta caprese which was delicious, the rosemary focaccia is heavenly with the fresh buratta. Also tried the formaggi and we probably got too much cheese but it was delicious! My first time trying all of those cheeses except the buratta and I loved all of it. We expected the pizzas to be smaller than they actually were so ordered 1 per person. Two people could split one if there's apps too. We tried the margherita (my favorite), rucola (delicious!), Ss-145 (very overpowering with the gorgonzola, I did not care for this one) and the special for the day which I can't remember. The pizzas are extremely fresh and true neopolitan style. The hazelnut gelato is yummy, I would skip the olive oil gelato.. I was intrigued but it literally tasted like oil. There's plenty of delicious wine and beer to choose from. Our server was wonderful and the cozy environment was perfect for a nice dinner with our friends. Can't wait to be back! read more

Oooo you are in for a treat! This was my first time eating from this location and it was great. Quickly, friendly service with a tap of a light bulb on the table. We had three people in our party, and we split the Caesar salad (which was delicious, had a great kick!), the Bee's Knees pie (spicy sausage, honey and sage), and the bacon and shallot pizza. It was a great variety of flavors and textures, they all provided great different highlights. We also splurged and got the gelato- sooo good and velvety smooth. We went to Pizzicletta combined with DSB. Hands down best idea to have the shared space so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. I also like that this section is family friendly and bigger/more seating than the other location. We went during the day and it wasn't super busy so our service experience was good over all. You order from two different servers as they are separate businesses with a shared space. I can't remember the name of the beer I got but it was a Mexican lager. By the looks of the menus they rotate out drinks occasionally so I couldn't even find the name on the photos here. We got a Cesar salad and pepperoni pizza from pizzicleta and they were delicious. Exactly would you expect from a fire roasted pizza but better. And that was one of the best Cesar salads I've ever had, that spicy powered they put on top gave it a great kick. read more

Not sure what all the hype is about. We had the Margherita, the Pepperoni, and The Bees Knees pizzas. They don't serve wine, so ladies be prepared to drink either beer or water. There's nothing else to drink. The red sauce was anemic and underwhelming at best. I see what they tried to do with The Bees Knees pizza...sweet and savory. The sweet was just too much. And the crust (for ALL the pizzas) was horrible. It would be burnt, soggy, poorly made lavash on a good day, but more akin to a soggy Carefree pantyliner on what I'm guessing is an average day, because that's what we got. I would highly not recommend this pretentious little spot to everyone. Just gross and disappointing. read more

We went to the Pizzicleta location insider the Dark Sky Brewery. Super fun brewery/pizza joint in the downtown area. Highly recommend you stop by! We had the Bee's Knees, which was a white sauce pizza with sausage and honey. Th sausage made the pizza a bit too sweet and not savory enough for our taste, but the woodfired pizza was a perfect balance of crispy and doughy crust. If we had more time in Flagstaff, I would've definitely gone back to try other pizzas from Pizzicleta! read more

Had dinner and drinks here! Got the "Joey Special" -- TWO PIZZAS! Major points if you get the Friends joke plus we were all decked out in our Friends gear! We came here last year when we were in Flagstaff and loved the beers and the pizza so we had to come back again, and I'm so glad we did. We got The Bees Knees and the Funghi pizzas and added fresh pesto to the latter. My boyfriend loved the Bees Knees more, which has spicy sausage, mozzarella, honey and sage. I wish I got a photo of his face when he took the first bite of that one because it was priceless. You could see the awe in his eyes! My favorite was the Funghi pizza that had mushrooms, mozzarella, red onions, and I added pesto on it. I'm glad I added the pesto b/c it cut through the richness and added some freshness to the pizza. Both very delicious! The one thing they didn't have was ranch. I love dipping my pizza in ranch, but I'm not docking stars for that. Eating the pizzas without ranch actually put the experience on a different level to enjoy the flavors. Though it would've been nice to have some for the crust at least. Beers not pictured here but they were also awesome and went well with the food. On top of it all, I love the ambiance and the music they played. We stopped in and yes there was a 40 minute wait. The time went fast. We had the bee's knees Pizza. It's house mozzarella, spicy sausage, mascarpone, mountaintop honey and sage. Here's the narrative: "Don't mind our three different staff members walking right by and ignoring you at the host stand for 5 minutes until our hungover 22-year old host arrives to tell you it's going to be a 30-minute wait. Oh and we only carry beer (no wine) and no we don't have the beer you just had next door and loved even though it's the same brewery." First visit! Tried the new Prosciutto and Burratta starter and it was delicious. Funghi pizza was the best. It was not super busy since we visited on a Friday afternoon. There were games to play table side while waiting for food. We were able to get service for the restaurant and the tap room. Overall good experience. Excellent Pizza and Beer. We went big tonight and ordered every pizza on the menu as well as the salads, most of the beers, and gelatos to top it off. My two favorite pizzas were the fungi mushroom pizza and then the bees knees. All of them were very good - my only very small preference would be a bit more crisp vs the chewy dough/crust. The stouts really hit the spot and the nutty one proved to be an after dinner treat. The gelatos are definitely worthwhile being full of favor and as creamy as any gelato I've ever had. Pizza was definitely the mood for our Saturday night dinner so we decided to try our Pizzicletta I in Flag. The original location on Phoenix Ave has a 1.5 hour wait so we decided to try this location. Due to social distancing, the restaurant has been limited with seating but were able to seat us quickly. What's unique about this place is that it's inside Dark Sky Brewery. Once seated, you'll get one menu with food and on the backside is pizza. As this place is two different businesses, there are two different waiters. One will take beer/drink orders and the other will get food. In terms of food, The menu is pretty limited in terms of pizzas as they only have 6-7 options. They also have some salads and desserts. One of the most popular ones is the Bee's knees which is what I ordered with mozzarella, honey, and sausage. Very unique and delicious pizza! This Pizzicletta uses the same space as Dark Sky Brewery but you can swing by just for the pizza, which we've done quite a few times during our past couple trips to Flagstaff. My favorite is the pepperoni pizza while the bee's knees is also a treat. Maybe it has something to do with charred dough fresh out of that oven but the pizza is delicious. Two pizzas (they don't do individual slices) may just be a tad much for two people. The past couple of visits were a bit slower service in terms of staff swinging by as they're having trouble with staffing (I think they are, at least temporarily, closed a couple of days during the week). But, when orders are in, everything comes extremely quickly. Heck, you can see how quickly each pizza is done in the open kitchen. You see when the finished product doesn't meet their standards, they don't send it out--they make another one. Also, note they do this thing with separate bills for the brewery business (drinks) and the pizza business (food). read more

Service was super quick. The food was quite good, and the portions are huge. We started with what seemed to be a pound of prosciutto; it was good, but nothing particularly remarkable aside from the serving size. We then had the simple salad, which was nice and refreshing but rich. For our pizza, we went with the Bees Knees, which was excellent--the honey and sage really came through. And the gelato really is as good as the other reviews say. The seating area is nice. We waited for a table on the patio, which was fresh and brisk tonight (bring a jacket; the heater was out of propane when we visited). Overall, definitely worth a trip! read more
