It is very noisy, there is only 18" pizzas, the menu is limited as well as drink menu. The hostess was quite rude yesterday when she seated us. Our pizza arrived much later than our friend's (that's a no no). The ONLY shining star here is Zara, our waitress. She is fantastic. Received a confirmation call day of reservations which I returned. Got there and no table. Offered to sit at the bar. WTF? Eventually got table and was refused a beer by the sycophantic child waiting on us for not having an ID. I'm 55 and bald, not a risk for being a minor. Great for take out. Ambiance is very loud. Fun but not really for a quiet dining experience. There's usually a wait so I went early enough--around 5:30pm on a Tuesday, and there was no wait. Also, they add a 4% Kitchen appreciation fee to all tickets. They also charge 2 additional fees for mixed drinks--10% and another 4%. We had 3 in our party and were waiting to the 3rd person, they said we have to order within 10 minutes of arriving. Then asked to order--I had not been there prior to this visit so I was trying to read it, but was being asked repeatedly if I was ready. Which that doesn't bother us as much, but then was asked several times while we were eating if we were ready for her to pack it and the ticket. More than being helpful. Loud for a date spot, but perfect for parties of 3-4 to split the fare. Now to the meat and potatoes of the review. The bread/crust stands out. The sauce has an acidic side but very high quality and light tasting. The cheeses ans meats sound. Lastly like the generous serving of basil to do what you will with on the north end. I came here with my family after graduation. I put us on the waiting list after the ceremony ended (at 3pm) and we were seated closer to 6pm. So it was definitely a long wait but the family also understood that grad weekends are a busy time in NWA and it made us that much more excited for a great meal! An office building in a semi isolated area holds a surprising treat. A clean active place that was full of patrons by 11:30. We snagged to seats at the bar and relished the aroma and sights as the beautiful pizzas were prepared. A very short wait and the delight shown in the picture arrived. This is hands down the best pizza in NWA and probably in the four states area since I've worked here for 3 years. The crust is second to none, the sauce is sweet and flavorful and they're incredibly generous with the toppings. The pepperoni especially is the smaller more cured and thicker cuts which give a much heartier taste and is much more flavorful. One thing I would say is given this is more of an artisanal pizzeria the bill will definitely run you up a little but I think it's worth it. I highly recommend adding garlic and basil but I add it on to pretty much anything. I ate leftovers the next day heated in an air fryer and it was just as good. They also serve salad which looked pretty good though I didn't try it myself. There are also daily/seasonal ice cream flavors for dessert. There wasn't a flavor that stood out while I was there but if you have a sweet tooth after stuffing yourself with incredible pizza they got you. Visited last night with the fiancée and sat at the bar. Best pizza I've had in NWA since moving back here almost 2 years ago. The reviews docking the place for long wait times are irrelevant now that the online waitlist is live. You can easily gauge the longest wait time at the top of the list and monitor how quickly you're moving up the line. If you need to kill downtime, head next door and grab a drink at HFWM. Inside is loud in a positive way. Kitchen has to communicate with each other and it's open to the seating floor, so the poor reviews based on noise level are just asking for their pizzas to take longer - let them work! Good music, too. Drinks were relatively inexpensive (looking at you, Lady Slipper) and the 'za, at risk of sounding overexcited, was pretty damn good. We ordered the #18 -cheese, pep, sausage- and almost cleared it. For dessert, the bag of doughnuts. I saw them making their own pasta so I'll probably try one of those dishes next time. Another couple sat next to us and started cutting up with whom I presume was the owner. Overheard something about the whole trio being from the Boston area and so the east coasters were excited about finding a place like this in Arkansas, so on and so forth. This is a good pizzeria. I went for the first time in Jan 2023. They pizza is all woodfired and 18" so the pies are a good size. It is thin crust and I prefer a thicker crust, but it is still tasty. We also got the pistachio gelato. The gelato had little bits of pistachio, chopped basil leaves, and a little olive oil. I think the best time to go is late in the evening. As near as I can tell, they are always busy. There were times I saw 45 min waits to get a table and didn't go because of it. When we finally did go, we thought we would beat the crowd getting there before 6 on a Saturday night. No, we didn't. We had over a 2 hour wait for a table. They have 9 tables and a bar which they also seat as they would the tables. However, they have multiple tables outside. The outdoor seating was not available as it was a January night when I we went. The key may be going in the Spring-Fall when you can sit outside. They offer a 10% discount for police and military, which is really nice. read more
