Great food, abismal service. I genuinely can't even put it into words. I understand waiting a while for seats, what I don't understand is how takes 30 minutes to get us water. Couldn't tell you the servers name, but I can tell you I won't be back for that. Edit: To address your response, after waiting that long for water, I did go up and tell the person at the front desk. At which point, our server did come and check on us. She said that you all ran out of clean cups and got us water, but did not ask if we wanted other drinks, my brother had to quickly ask her to grab him a soda before she ran off, then she asked my sister and I if we wanted anything else. We put in our food order as well because we did not know how long it'd take her to come back. Thank God we did because it took forever for her to come check on us. We didn't get one refill, didn't get one "do you need anything." We watched her talk to who I assume was the manager about pre-closing, and watch her take phone orders. I get that she might be new, but there seemed to be no interest in taking our order or serving us. After we finished our food, we stacked our plates and waited for it another 30 minutes for the check. When we finally received it, I just walked up to the counter to get checked out because I was not going to give her my card and wait for another God knows how long. Appreciate the advice, but I did express frustration and was met with more frustration. Work on your training practices. read more

I had eaten here recently since it was recommended by some friends. Food was good and service was good. Very early morning next day however, I had pretty severe diarrhea that continued onward for the entirety of the following day. I had eaten nothing the day of coming in to dine, therefore I was confident it was the food that had done it. I called the store and spoke to the manager the day after, and he said he was sorry and asked what could be done to make it right. I said a refund would be nice, and that I would like to give their food another chance. They said to call back the next day in the afternoon and they would get my card information and discuss getting a refund processed. I called back the next day and I tried getting a hold of the manager but instead spoke to someone else. Rather than getting to talk to the manager again, I was told that it would've been impossible to get sick from their food based off of the timing of me ordering it, and then showing symptoms about 10-11 hours later, and that it takes about 30 hours to show symptoms. They also said that they've never had an issue with anyone getting sick before from their food, I guess to insinuate that it could've never had been their fault. I know for a fact that a person can indeed get sick from food poisoning within 12 hours after eating, but I didn't want to argue. After that was said, I was then told that it was their standard procedure that they could not issue a refund since the pizza was eaten and then taken out of the store after purchasing. I can understand policy, however it doesn't seem fair that when I was asked what could be done to fix the issue I gave a suggestion, a refund, and was then told the next day that I'm wrong and that the garlic just must've disagreed with my stomach. It felt very patronizing to hear that. Even if that were true, I'd at least see what else I could to do help the customer if the roles were switched, rather than deflecting and not taking any accountability. All I got was just silence other the phone, with no further attempt to make amends. As mentioned earlier I wanted to give them another chance, but after that experience I won't be coming back. I hope people see this and are informed that this is how they operate. read more

Nice business, really good pizza and bread. The Works here has sausage and soppressata, mushrooms, and olives (we held the onions). Sauce was good, cheese was a little sparse. It was good, but $32 good? Last wonderful specialty pie I had was in expensive Orange County CA with homemade meatballs, fresh ricotta and fresh mozzarella and paid $29. Ruby would benefit from fresh cheeses. It's a small place, no place to wait for a table except outside and on a cold day, that was not an enjoyable experience. Also parking for these businesses is inadequate, and ended up in a muddy unpaved lot. Just be forewarned. I guess this is a novelty for NW AR and they will stay busy, even at this price point. When I say that this place is a 11 out of 10 I meant it with my chest! The fried artichokes were insanely delicious. The pistachio pasta was superb. Vegan also. Which I'm not but I eat everything. I got the Italian sausage and spinach pie, and y'all no lie, top 5, top 5, top 5. Delicious. I'm from Atlanta and we have plenty of authentic pizza spots but this just hit a lot of marks for me. So I will definitely be back here when I get a little more time and eat again. The service was nice super busy tho, looks like a college hangout spot. The ambience was chill. Visiting from California and I saw that this was considered some of the best food in NWA so I had to see for myself. After eating here, I can say that I agree! I ordered the spaghetti pomodoro and it was some of the best I've ever had. Sauce and noodles were perfection. The only thing is that I wish it were served with bread, especially with it being $15. I also had the cookie and gelato which surprised me with how good it was! Im not huge on gelato, but Pizzeria Ruby's sold me. We had great waiters too. Our visit had a bit of a rough start with a very long wait, but the overall experience was a good one. We started with the nice bread, which was served with olive oil for dipping. For main course, we tried the Watertown, a pizza with Italian sausage, feta and spinach. The pizzas are large enough for 3-4 people to share. We also tried the spaghetti and meatballs, and the meatballs were very tasty. Save room for dessert because they have gelato and warm jumbo chocolate chip cookies! One thing I will say about the atmosphere is that they were playing very loud music which made conversation a little difficult in addition to playing some songs that could be offensive to some people, especially families with children. read more

We came to Springdale for a weekend with the kids and this was my #1 pick of restaurants. They have an online wait list that I had been checking up until about an hour before we got there. It was empty then. Around 5 we headed that way and checked the list to see 23 parties ahead of us. Yikes. We waited a little over 90 minutes, which we would never usually do, especially with the kids. The pizza was well worth the wait. Amazing. My daughter had the kids spaghetti pomodoro and the sauce was delicious! The big cookie for dessert was really good, but the Gelato was not that great. I would come back just to try the pasta. When Boston native Chef Michael Robertshaw brought his culinary genius to the Midwest you get amazing pizza. Yes, as a newbie I looked like a deer in headlights trying to figure out the flow of things. Luckily the welcoming and helpful staff walked me through it.. Put your name on the waitlist using the iPad provided, order your drinks if you would like to and wait to be called. Coming from Texas I'm used to open walk in sitting at the bar but here everyone has to wait to be seated. No biggie as it gave us ample time to review the menu. Scout was our awesome waitress. We literally took every suggestion she provided and ordered her picks. Mama's meatballs: perfect balance of pork and beef meatballs served with sauce and bread for dipping. My only suggestion is that you ask for a little bit more sauce.... It's that good. Watertown pie: both my husband and I agree that this is possibly one of the best New York style pizza's we've had... and we've had a lot. The house Italian sausage is the star of this pizza but don't underestimate the garlic spinach or the unique blend of the multiple cheeses. It seems that this pizza may be overlooked but man I have to tell you, it's a must try! They make their own chili oil and this is something that you have to try on your pizza too. I dubbed it "liquid crack" simply because of how addicting it is. How did I have my pizza without it all this time? Family owned restaurant with an old Italy intimate vibe to it. Open air concept allows you to view the masterpieces in the kitchen. The BOH crew works together very well to get the orders out in a timely manner. I've seen a lot of reviews about how long the wait takes. We arrived at 8:40 on a Wednesday night and waited maybe 10 minutes. I can say this much though, good food is always worth the wait. This is the best pizza we've found since moving to NWA in November of 2023. Period. We decided to stop at Pizzeria Ruby on the way home after a Razorback basketball game as we had heard how good it was. Well we got there and put on name on the list. We were like 30th on the list and as best as we could tell it would be about a two hour wait... no thanks. So we just ordered a pizza to go. We got the large pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni. We drove home and the smell in the car was soooo tempting. The pizza itself was just absolutely fabulous. They did it right. The crust was perfect. The sauce was perfect. The cheese, pepperoni, all of it was just perfect.
