I already love scarlet letters so I was super excited to stop in. They had board games, darts and a ping pong table and plenty of TV's to watch the Hogs play. Went during the day and it was pretty slow and I can't wait to go back later and try all of the flavors. If you've never been I love the red scarlet letter the most!

Lemon lime guacamole ... tasted decent but portion too small compared to the amount of chips

My flight was delayed about two plus hours - and if you've ever traveled through XNA, you know there's absolutely NOTHING to do here to kill time. It's just past 10:00 pm, and this place is just getting ready to close. I asked the waitress when they officially close and her answer was "whenever the last flight leaves". Thank you Lord! And thank you Core Brewing Company! You don't have any cider, and your food is pretty mediocre. But reminding myself that beggars can't be choosers, you came to my rescue when American Airlines failed once again. Relaxed bar atmosphere with plenty of charging stations! Their menu consists of sharables and bar bites like sliders, wings, and nachos. It appears they are known for beer, with lots of Cali wine options. I tried the guacamole and chicken tacos which were both just OK. The pinot noir was light and the best thing I tasted tonight.

Loved the place! They are focusing on their product. I respect that and I'm loving it. This place is certainly hidden a bit.... Visited and discovered their Scarlett Letter... PLEASE PLEASE never stop making this!!! I'm traveling soon to Chicago and plan on taking plenty to share with friends and family. It's SO refreshing. For those out there that like those new spiked seltzer types- TRY this. Sold at local liquor stores too. Strange enough Toasted Coconut has and will always be my favorite cooler weather and heavier beer but this other stuff reminds me of being on the river or lake- yes please!

Thrilled to have another option for food and drink and XNA. And I love some Core beer. They've made a nice little shop with several TVs, Bar and table seating, and even a monitor for departure times. Way uptown! But I'm going to go with three stars for my first trip in because of the level of service. This is an airport. This is not a tasting room where people have all day to ponder options and savor their choices. There was no beer list at the bar, so you had to try to read the taps. I walked up to the bar cash in hand ready to place an order, and waited. And waited. The bartender was moving ever so slowly to one table at a time - no sense of urgency, no consolidation of work. She finally gave me the "just a minute" thing, and then I waited longer. I received and enjoyed my beer - definitely at airport prices! - and had enough time to drink it, if a bit hurried. I'll give it another try, with food, but hope they will work on getting sharp staff who understand how to work quickly and smartly. It's an airport, you know.

After a strenuous hike in Bella Vista on the Back 40 loop, we decided to check out a local brewery and found Core. The building is tucked away in an industrial area, but was easy to find. Not many customers at 4 on a Saturday, but we found the taproom to be nicely decorated with ample seating options from tables to couches. The barkeep was friendly and helpful in our selections. I had the Arkansas Red while Deb had the Scarlet Letter. Very refreshing! We'll definitely be back on our next trip to NWA.

    Beer flight for so cheap!

I doubt my life will ever take me back to Springdale, Arkansas, but I loved every minute of my visit to Core Brewing a few weeks ago. I have been to many breweries now, and Core stands out as being uniquely cool without trying too hard. The building puts on zero airs, but offers up some great beer. My boyfriend and I stopped in on the Friday night that we headed down to Fayetteville for a random weekend adventure. We ordered the flight then grabbed a seat at a picnic table. It was a cold night, so the building was on the chilly end, but we kept our coats on and let the alcohol warm us up. I always think flights are the best way to go if you want to see what a brewery has to offer, and Core's didn't disappoint. There was a good mix brews and the information sheet taught us a little bit about each. I think a solid 5th star goes to the fact that the bartender helped us get free tickets to the Arkansas/LSU game for the next day. It was completely unexpected but we ended up having an incredible time, all thanks to a random act of kindness. Cheers, Core, and thank you for your array of wiener jokes!

In all fairness, I can say that I did not have the beer here since I am GF, but I went with a few other people and still loved the place. I guess they previously allowed dogs there, but no longer can because of the health codes. They do have a tasting flight, with each tasting costing between $1.50 and $2.00. I was told by the others in my group that the toasted coconut and raspberry beers were vey good. They will also give you some popcorn to snack on. There is indoor and outdoor seating, both with tvs. The outdoor seating has a great view, especially around sunset. There are also various games (like checkers, Uno, Jenga, etc.) to play. I would definitely recommend.

Fun atmosphere, with a super helpful and friendly owner! He came and greeted us as we came up and explained everything they had on tap, which was great for beer amateurs like me. Loved the inside of the building with live music, and also the patio, but it could have used a heater or two since the night was slightly chilly. Lots of local brews on tap, including a fun hazelnut one!

Great beer, pet friendly, laid back vibe. What more can you ask for? We also met the owner, Jesse, and Larry (the bulldog) - Larry & Eve (my pug) got along really well! You can also bring food in if you're planning to stay awhile (which we always are)! My favorite: Arkansas Red.

This is a working brewery. You can taste the different beers Core offers and by yourself a pint or if you found the one you like grab yourself a half gallon in a neat looking jug. They have popcorn to munch on and TVs to watch sports. Similar to a nice small pub just without the food. Great local brewery and what a gem it is. The beer is cold and refreshing. Hopefully they continue to expand and offer the beer in more locations

I ordered a flatbread pizza. And it was basically garlic bread with sliced tomatoes thrown atop.

CORE Brewing isn't my fave because I like my browns but CORE is all about Arkansas Red , it's excellent.

They were happy to pour a little taste of any of the items on tap, which on this day were 7 beers - a Pilsner, IPA, brown ale, wit, DIPA, pumpkin ale and a wine hybrid. The set up pouring the beer directly from the large kegs was pretty cool to see, and the ones that I tried were very tasty, true to style, cold, and perfectly carbonated. Also glad to see some basic snacks and the covered patio area is a great setup. Beer snob disclaimer: I was disappointed that they do not do flights. Yes, providing the samples ensures you end up with something you like, but the reason I enjoy microbrewery so much is because I don't have to make a decision, but I can have a little selection at my fingertips. Also, flights are great for the things that you enjoy the flavor of, but don't want a 10 or 16 ounce pour of. That said, they did not have any heavier beers like port or stout, and the DIPA was maybe a little lighter than typical. I was also surprised that there wasn't even a single TV, especially on a Saturday college game day. Although I understand not necessarily making yourself a sports destination, most Breweries at least have one with no sound for checking in on the hot event of the day. It's also worth noting with new breweries and new technology that prices will match. $5 gets you a 10 oz pour, $7 for a 16 oz. They're doing great work here and have made a nice place. I will definitely make them a frequent stop.
