There's plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, making it a great spot for families and larger groups. The host was very kind and attentive to my kids, which made the experience even more enjoyable. My kids ordered the Margherita pizza and thought it was perfectly cheesy and delicious. I ordered the ossobuco with risotto, and it was incredible -- especially the flavorful bone marrow at the end. My husband had the seafood spaghetti, which came with a generous amount of seafood. On our recent trip to Italy I can say Rosy e Gabriele was at or very near the top of my favorites.  Everything was on point.  The service, the ambiance, the menu choices and the food itself were as perfect as it gets. This is a neighborhood place filled mostly with locals and a sprinkling of tourists.  Half the folks walking in, families mostly, were greeted like old friends, many by name with handshakes all around.  Watching the pizza maker was a great show as well. We ate there a total of three times and it would have been more had we not been set to move on to our next destination.  Don't let the term Pizzeria mislead you, the seafood here is the best on the whole trip.   My first visit there I had sea bass encrusted in salt.  I think it may be the single best piece of fish I've ever had.  The second meal there for me was the grilled 1/2 spiny lobster.  It did not disappoint.  Outstanding it was.  My third visit I did have the pizza and wow-zers, one of the top three pies of the whole trip, and believe me when I say I ate a lot of pizzas there.  All the sides were also perfectly done and the little extras they brought out, like small cookies made the whole meal come together.   And a word about our waiter.  What a great and fun guy, totally added to the whole experience.  His catchphrase is "Organization"  Every time he came by the table, which was often enough to be helpful without being intrusive, he tidied up saying "organization, organization"  I think he was having as much fun as we were. The area around Rosy e and Gabriele is vibrant and comfortable. It was also a short ten minute walk to our hotel, the Diana Majestic, which were heard has since ceased operation.  Shame if true, it was a wonderful stay. read more

I got into town and was very hungry. The front desk attendant at my hotel suggested that I tried this location. The service was very kind and engaging. I started with a Caprese salad which was delicious. The tomatoes were very fresh and the mozzarella was creamy. I also enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara. Quite traditional. I enjoyed a beer with the sweet treat basket of cookies that the server presented. The restaurant is wonderful with a very old decor and fits. There was even a local pooch, enjoying the atmosphere. read more

We called for a reservation on a Saturday night and had no problem getting a table for 3 two hours later. Our waiter greeted us warmly and offered us our choice of table surrounded by serene plants on a quiet street Bread came to the table with oil and vinegar and was delicious. I ordered an insalata Mista which was basic but good, followed by a delicious calzone with 3 kinds of cheese and salami. Fantastic! My husband ordered lasagna which arrived hot with sauce still bubbling in the pan. Holy cow! This place lives up to all the recent reviews and then some. Super cool locals vibe with uber friendly and professional servers. The food is fantastic - I kept spying the food on the tables around me - and just wished I had the capacity to order and eat more. First time here, came with a couple that recommended from a previous visit. Truly a friendly , family Italian restaurant. The meal and service was very good. Between the four of us, we had 3 different pasta dishes and a pizza and the vino was very nice. Everyone was well pleased. The caramel dessert was delicious as well. Lovely family owned restaurant and bar. My wife and I enjoyed our food, service and evening thanks to the team working here. We were treated like long time customers even though this was our first visit. Lasagna was so very good, nice fresh salads, enjoyed appetizers. This is the OLD world service we love in a nicely decorated restaurant. This is not a lavish or luxury restaurant but it filled up on a Tuesday night to capacity as the locals love this place. Probably the best restaurant I've been during my 4 days here, and the other restaurants I went to were recommendation from a local italian coworker and non tourist spots (no English menus, etc). Nonetheless, this place was crowded with italians and only 1-2 tables with visible tourists so I have to think it's pretty authentic food. The food was spectacular - I got the spaghetti with muscles, the sea bass in lemon, and the lemon sorbet. Prices were good too, 12euro a dish and 6 for the sorbet. The service was great too. We got there late one night, they are open late. I think we closed the place. The wait staff was very pleasant and friendly, full of suggestions. Had a pretty good pasta dish and a great bottle of wine. The wine is a bit pricey by usual standards but it was a good recommendation by the waiter. We each ordered a different dish and they were are good. Stuffed pizza, shrimp and spaghetti, and pasta with meat sauce. If you find yourself wanting food after the bar or show this is one of the few places in Milan open late. read more

I used to love this place. Food is still good but my co-workers and I had a bad experience here. I do not think I will recommend to the my friends because of it and there are many other places I can recommend in Milan. My co-worker's purse was stolen while we were eating. The waiter was very entertaining and asking us to order €200 lobster. We kept saying no but he brought it out to show us... We got distracted and the purse was gone !!
