Ravioli stuffed with meat and covered in a tomato sauce.

This restaurant is about a 5 minute walk from the cathedral. We came for lunch and were pleasantly surprised as we were seeking some place that wasn't filled with other tourists. The food and service was very good.

We came here for dinner because a previous restaurant didn't work out. We ordered the ravioli with cognac (fancy version of penne vodka sauce but with cognac, overall it was okay), pasta with seafood (good but the noodles aren't fresh. They taste like they're from a box) and fish over potatoes. It was eh. I should have known better since it's close to Duomo but it was getting late and we were hungry. I was a bit disappointed because we were paying so much for this dinner but couldn't even eat homemade pasta noodles. We had lunch for half the price and perfectly al dente noodles near our Airbnb.

Made a reservation and ate here last night for dinner. Clean establishment located near the Duomo and walking distance from my hotel. I had plate of prosciutto with melon (yum yum delicious) and a plate of the house ravioli which was also delicious. The restaurant quickly filled up with patrons and was busy.

Very friendly staff, despite the language barrier, got food to go , after a long day of aggravating, travel it was delightful to come across a nice family restaurant, one where they were more than happy to help you out . I ordered the ravioli, with cured ham , and a red sauce. Delicious So good that I dove right in and forgot to take a photo

Being right by the Duomo, I thought it would be touristy and the food would be mediocre. When we got there, there were many Italians dining. Got there around 9 on a Fri night and just walked in. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The king crab salad had lovely vinaigrette that was light. I also loved the sweet cherry tomatoes. The crab probably wasn't the best quality, but it was still decent. For dinner, I enjoyed the grilled filet of beef, which was the boneless part of the T-bone steak. I ordered medium but it seemed more med-rare to me, so I had to send it back. Italians love to eat their meat med rare, but I couldn't handle it. It was a tasty piece of meat! My hubby ordered the risotto with pumpkin and cheese. That was yummy as well. I was disappointed that they didn't have risotto with saffron, which is a classical Milanese dish, but we enjoyed the pumpkin risotto because we love pumpkin everything. They had a lot of interesting dessert choices, but decided to go with a berry cup and vanilla gelato. Glad that they offered a lighter dessert after a hearty meal so late in the evening. We checked this place out because of the Yelp reviews and we were happy with our choice. Thanks Yelpers! By the way, they have these murals, and we sat next to a mural with people that looked like zombies. Kinda funny...

Great meal here last night with food that just kept on coming out. The restaurant has a really authentic Italian feel with very little English spoken and plenty of hustle, bustle and local chatter that makes you feel like your in for a good meal from the moment you arrive. We were there with locals which helped to guide us as to what to pick from the menu. We ended up with 4 courses, the first was a chefs special Ragu with polenta which was lovely. Second was a delicate mushroom tagliatelle with a very light garlic sauce, again lovely. Third was a huge t bone steak with roasted vegetables and white beans on the side with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Along with all of this was plenty of bread and limitless san pel. That was the savoury done. At that point we moved to the dessert and I had to have the tiramisu of course. It was light fluffy and tasty, just the way it should be. This was a fantastic meal in a great restaurant. I recommend you give it a try.

Great place to have dinner! We had their Mozzarella Tomatoes, Ravioli with Cognac and Ham, Mixed Grill Fish/Seafood, Grilled Vegetables and Tiramisu. Everything was very good but mixed grilled seafood was the best. Service was great as well. Their free vegetable starter was tasty too. Overall, we were glad to end our trip to Italy with Ugolino.

My husband & I just had dinner here. We were supposed to go to our hotel's restaurant but decided to come here instead. And we are glad we did. We came here around 7:30pm and no reservation needed. They did fill up around 8:30ish though. They gave us complimentary bruschetta starters while looking over the menu. We had the tomato mozzarella salad for appetizer. They also gave us complimentary freshly baked homemade focaccia bread, on top of our table bread & breadsticks while waiting for our main dish. We ordered the grilled T-bone steak for 2 people with grilled vegetables. Holy moly! It was more like for 3 people!! It was huge!! And oh so good! We absolutely love this restaurant. Kinda reminds me of a Mom & Pop restaurant. Really good food and great service!! We were quite full to order dessert but our waiter still gave us a small thing of dessert. I think they're bread pudding but really good as well. It's just a walking distance from the Duomo Cathedral. Highly recommend this place!

We tried beef with vegetables and it's so tender and juicy. You shouldn't miss this restaurant and good food here in Milano.

I literally wrote 4 paragraphs and Yelp glitched and deleted my draft…read more Please make sure to ask them to charge you in Euros because we didn't get the option by the owner and he charged us in USD which costs us more. He's been in business for 44 years so obviously he knows but still charged us in USD which is kinda shady IMO. We decided to dine here due to all the reviews and photos posted. When we approached the restaurant, the owner immediately said "Ni Hao" which I thought was kinda racist. What if I wasn't Chinese? Mink felt offended but we committed to dining there so we did. He asked if we wanted to dine inside or outside. Since it was chilly for Mink, we opted to dine inside where it was 90% full due to a Chinese tour group. They all had the same dish so we figured preset menu for them. I wasn't sure what I was going to get but since they all ate the Ossobuco con risotto alla Milanese in Crosta, I decided to order that as it was one of the dishes I was considering. Mink ordered their Spaghetti ai frutti di mare. I'm not sure why but the owner exclusively took care of us. He also made it a point to bring a photo over of Jay Chow saying he's dined there 4-5 times in the last few years. Maybe that's why the Chinese tour group eats there? He was arrogant enough to brag about how much money he's made because of Jay Chow. There were lots of celebrities that dined there from what gathered looking at his wall of fame. I bet he didn't charge any of them in USD *smh* The Ossobuco con risotto alla Milanese in Crosta was really good and probably the best we had in Milan. They must be able to make this dish with their eyes closed at this point with the daily Chinese tour groups dining there. Their Spaghetti ai frutti di mare was decent but didn't have as much seafood in the dish as other restaurants and the flavor was about average. The bread and EVOO offered was legit though! I loved it and I normally hardly ever eat the complimentary bread. Food is good overall and customer service felt extra. If we didn't get charged USD, wasn't getting bragged to about how much money he made off Jay Chow and wasn't greeted with a "Ni Hao" then the place is 4 stars. Since all that did happened, 2.5 stars.

The restaurant is on a side street near the busy (with tourists from every corner of the globe) Duomo area. It is easy to find. It has a charming decor (though it is a bit darker and more romantically appointed than other area restaurants, as well as having an underground and almost bordello vibe). It is also larger than it might appear, as there are both ground floor, as well as a lower eating area seemingly for larger groups, as well as used during busier times. We have only eaten on the ground floor level. The menu offers ample variety, but is not what one would term extensive. It tends upscale, though not extremely costly (arguably average to slightly above average fine restaurant prices), but portions are on the smaller side. They have a specialty in dishes augmented and emphasizing the use of truffles, of which we have sampled several times. Over the course of our several meals we've had every pasta and risotto offered with truffle shavings. Of the appetizers we can recommend the meatballs, which are delicate and small, the bacon wrapped shrimp, and the octopus. Their desserts are also not the run of the mill and warrant tastings. All and all, we will always repeat here when in Milan. Frankly, though their Yelp average score is pretty good, we were surprised they do not have a higher Yelp average score.
