Not a big deal, they let you know there is a time limit, but maybe they should keep the service flowing so that doesn't happen. The interior decorator here did a great job with the time warp back to the mid 20th century. Cool vibe. Food was ok. Perhaps using old recipes from the time period is not so good for a tourist? I wasn't really impressed with the food, but I don't have a cultural link to Milanese food to begin with, so I don't think I was fully able to appreciate it. If my grandmother made this when i was a kid, perhaps it would have been better, but the meal was lost on me. There are plenty of spots to grab a good meal, I'd only recommend this place if you have a fond memory of the menu items or you really want to time travel and post to social media.

We stumbled across this restaurant in search of vegetarian food in an area where we realized options were limited and were very warmly welcomed in. The decor of the restaurant was beautiful as it had a lovely lavender theme and was classy and spacious. The owners were very accommodating and gladly suggested some vegetarian options for our family of five. The bread and chilli oil starter was fresh and tasty and was an incredible preview of the dishes that were to come. We started off with vegetarian pizza which was incredible...having had pizza so often during our trip we were blown away by how delicious this vegetarian pizza was. And just when we thought nothing could top the pizza out came another incredible dish - a mushroom and zucchini risotto. Each dish was a marvel and yet again the owner/chef presented us with another outstanding dish - pear and cheese ravioli with poppy seeds. Each dish danced on our taste buds sending waves of euphoric delight. We ended the meal with tiramisu and coffee - which we agreed was the best we ever had. The authenticity and sincerity of the owners/chefs shines through their food. They really put their heart into each dish. The owner was kind and stopped by to create some banter. Thank you thank you thank you to the owners for making this culinary excursion a memory we will forever cherish not only of our time in Milan but our entire stay in Europe! Both tasted like they'd been frozen beforehand and were among the worst meals we've had in Italy. What made it worse was the service. We were completely ignored the entire time. When we did get served, it was no eye contact and just staring at us to tell the server what we wanted (and that was after I had to wave them down!) At first, I thought they were giving us privacy, but everyone around us had their tables cleared and were offered dessert while we sat with our finished plates for at least five minutes. When we finally got up to leave, they stopped us to offer dessert, which was a nice gesture, but by then, the experience had already soured. There was no music playing either, making the whole meal feel awkwardly silent. With so many great options in Milan, I wouldn't recommend this one.

It was a delicious meal in Milan, Italy. This Trattoria was cleaned and well maintained with friendly waiters. Felt like family eating style restaurant with good ambiance and service. Highly recommend those dishes to try.
