Worth the wait! Popular pizza in Milan which almost always has a wait, but trust me it's worth it. We got the bianca and margherita. This sounds weird, but the bianca tastes like a bagel which was the most unique pizza I have ever had. We devoured the two pizzas because they were absolutely delicious. We also had prosecco which the waiter helped us select. The service was quick and helpful. The actual restaurant was crowded but that is to be expected. Will be back! read more

Piz was an authenic pizzeria with fast but delicious food. The pizzeria was tucked away right next to the center of town, they only had 3 pizza options, a margerita, a garlic pizza, and a chef's choice. The staff was very friendly and offered a glass of champagne and a pre-dinner bite on the house. After our pizza, the chef provided complementary shots for the table as well! I found Piz after seeing some mention of it in a blog. It's an easy walk from the Milan Duomo where I'd spent my morning. The place is tucked in an alley with lots of simple, somewhat rickety and simple, table ensembles outside along the alley. Piz was lined up the entire lunchtime but the servers were so energetically managing this plus everyone's table service, it was impressive! Best pizza in Milan! Piz is tucked away in a touristy part of town but the menu is super authentic and the place is very popular among locals. The ingredients are fresh and very high quality and the prices are great for Milan city centre! I would recommend sitting in the little alley outside right next to the Tempio Civico di San Sebastiano for people watching during the summertime, bonus points if you catch a film at the arthouse cinema right nextdoor as well! They serve complimentary prosecco when seated and have a pretty simple menu for personal pizzas. I got a standard margherita and it was delicious. Exactly what I dreamt true Italian pizza would be. The decor of the restaurant was in the style of Keith Haring. The whole place was really cool, would recommend checking it out. There is a lot to love about this neighborhood pizzeria with its eclectic decor and vibrant atmosphere. Upon entering, we dodged fast-paced servers running past us and jostled with fellow customers for standing room in a narrow space, only to discover that dine-in guests eating inside can descend the staircase to a lower level. Menus on the table await guests, showcasing six delicious pizzas including a pizza of the day, as well as a few other dishes. Selecting two of their incredibly affordable pizzas, we found the crust to be deliciously light and chewy, delicately scorched by the oven but not overcooked. The sauce is magnificent, rich and flavorful without being overbearing, finely puréed without chunks of tomatoes. Lumps of fresh mozzarella, partially melted on top most of the pizzas, are a perfect compliment to the finished product. The flavors and textures certainly earned our four-star review! But there are a number of cons of which patrons should be aware. Menus are in Italian and QR codes on the table link to an English menu. But with no free WiFi in the restaurant, English-speaking tourists who don't have international Internet plans are out of luck. The Una Guatosa Marinara pizza is very good, but it has raw garlic. It's not roasted nor marinated to take the edge off of this pungent topping, and the Parmesan is quite sparse. Like all European restaurants, even during a heat wave you have to beg for a sufficient amount of water. Most of the employees are short with customers and act like they don't want to be there. After a long day of exploring the city, this was a great way to end our day! It's located down a short alley. As we walked towards the brightly decorated restaurant, we were warmly greeted with a flute of chilled Prosecco and a small toasted square of crispy bread with melted cheese. This was the best welcome to any restaurant I've ever walked into! We were escorted down a narrow stairway to a surprisingly large area with tables and brightly painted walls. There is a QR code on the table to access the menu in different languages or you can request a menu. There are only 3 choices of pizzas plus a daily special. Our server recommended that my husband and I split a pizza with the option of ordering another pizza if we wanted more. One was perfect for us! We split the special : burrata, olives with red sauce - it was fantastic! Our pizza arrived within minutes of ordering. I tried a few pizza places while in Milan, and this one was by far my favorite! They had a really small menu, but my guess is that's because they put a lot of energy into the pizzas that they craft. My friend ordered the white pizza, which had a very unique flavor, as it was garnished with lots of herbs. She wasn't a huge fan, but I thought it had a unique flavor. I went for the traditional margarita and loved it - have to say the high quality ingredients were on full display. We arrived shortly before close, so the staff was starting to clean up as we finished up. On our way out, my friend mentioned to one of the waiters that the last time she was there, she got a free limoncello shot. We were in luck - he turned around and grabbed 2 free shots for us, even as he was busy closing down the restaurant! Great hospitality! read more

Simple, but perfect! I found Piz on the internet before our trip to Italy and was looking forward to trying it--they did not disappoint! My husband and I walked to Piz after touring the Duomo. They had lots of outdoor tables set up, which felt perfect in the pandemic era. As others have noted, they bring you a small glass of prosecco as a welcome as well as a pizza bite. They only have three pizza options on their menu--they keep it simple, but perfect. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza and a beer; I ordered the marinara pizza and a glass of wine. The pizza crust was crisp, but not hard, and the sauce was sweet. After we finished eating, the server brought us a small glass of orange liqueur. When you are ready, you take the paper ticket they put on your table when they deliver your drinks and pay for your meal inside. We were super excited to try the pizza here, especially given the previous reviews. The place looks awesome on the inside, decor is on point and it feels like a party inside. Beers on draft were very good and service was fine, especially considering how busy it was. I got the pizza of the day and my wife got the margarita. Both had that nice char on the top of the crust so I was excited to bite in! As soon as I cut my pizza though, it pulled apart like raw dough. I'm not sure if they have a new cook or their ovens temps were off but it was not good at all. Small place with a few floors and very good Yelp reviews. I ate here intentionally walking a few blocks to find a wait list. Very cool service by providing off-menu snacks and free glasses of wine outside while waiting for a table. We got in after a short wait and found a very small menu with very few offerings. I ordered a white pizza with cheese, olive oil and poppy seeds. The pizza was thin, stretchy, chewy and was like a big tortilla. It was flavorful but there could have been more cheese. There was a decent selection of wines and beers. The food came out quickly and led to one of the fastest dinners that I had in Italy. Many different servers checked on us and felt no pressure to get out despite people waiting outside. This is the In N Out of dine-in pizza in Italy. First of all, this place was recommended to me by a gentleman who i met today at a bar, in Milan. He is italian, born in Calabria and he told me that he knew the owner of Piz. So i decided to have dinner there with my girlfriend. This place is really close to Duomo, and all can i say is that we had the best service trough this whole holiday in Milan. They greeted us as soon as we entered with 2 glasses of prosecco, they gave us each a small piece of pizza (warm) and after getting us trough the kitchen they seated us. The same gentleman wich recommended us Piz, told us that the owner won the pizzaiolo contest in Italy a few years ago. And oh boy, he was RIGHT! By far it was the best pizza in Milano. The dough, the toppings, time of serving, even the fact that we ordered 2 different pizzas and when they brought us to the table they were already splitted in half in each plate for sharing, all these details made it count. Went for Thanksgiving dinner with party of 8. Staff was great. Greeted with sparkling wine. This is a very non-traditional place with fantastic traditional (if farther south) pizza. Only three pizzas on the menu and a fourth daily surprise pizza you have to order to find out what is on it (we were lucky it was burrata and black olives on our night). We ordered all four. And then ordered them again. Also, vegetarian (which I am not), but this did not detract at all from the pizza. The pizza was ok, but part of mine was undercooked, and no prosecco or limonchello(as described online and in previous reviews) was offered at any point. Just returned from a lovely informal dinner of pizza. The wait staff is very friendly and efficient. It is a Monday night in May, and they were having some kind of promotion: we received free white wine even before we ordered. Enjoyed delicious pizza with a beer. And then came free shots. Two different kinds of liqueur. When my husband stepped up to the counter to pay they tried to urge him to have another shot. Declined with laughter all around. Earlier, the man charge (owner or chef or both?) played the Star Spangled Banner and looked around to see who were Americans. Immediately thereafter he played the Ukrainian National Anthem and a young woman eating solo stepped inside to video the interior while it played. She wiped away tears multiple times. I'm a fan. I actually love that the menu is only 3 pizza options. If you do something great, why do anything else? The Marinara pizza without cheese was actually probably my favorite one, but the margherita and the white pizza were close seconds. All three were light, not oily at all though somewhat watery, thin crust, good temperature, and a nice portion. It's hard to beat an 8 euro lunch in the heart of Madrid that feels somehow both touristy and authentic.
